What is a good website to get back drops from? I am wanting to get a couple of my own. My aunt has a few but I want a good black one and a good white one. Also Did some of you say you use pexi glass? Whats a good size to get?
No one has responded so I'll give it a try... I don't order cloth backgrounds from the internet, well I guess I did order my black background from jcpenny.com- the Vellux blanket. I just go to a fabric store and have them cut however much I want. I do order my seamless paper from online, which can be found at adorama.com or bhphotovideo.com but I would just keep it simple if you're just starting out In the beginning I used anything around the house, You just have to be inventive!
How do you make the people at fabric stores cut your fabric wide enough? A year ago I bought some fabric for back drops and haven't used it yet because later on I saw that they just weren't wide enough. Maybe for one person but that's it. But then again I bought my fabric at wal-mart. Maybe that was a bad choice. I have not used it yet. maybe i should try? hmm
I used ebay and have had good luck there. Timwest backgrounds is where Ive gotten mine. If you watch, you can get 10x20 for 40-60 dollars and that is with his shipping cost too. Normal price is a bit higher, I cant remember. I bought three of them about a year ago and love them. I have his choc pudding, stormy morning, and blue midnight. (I think those are the offical names lol) I love them!!!!!
