Thread: WHCC

So I just got back my test prints from WHCC and they seem much darker than they do on my computer screen. I don't know anything about calibrating and not even sure if you can properly do it on a macbook.

Any suggestions? Advice?

I'm not sure about calibrating on a macbook, but I know for the most part with macs, you have to turn the brightness on your monitor practically to the lowest setting. Otherwise you're seeing photos much brighter on your monitor than printing will ever be. You get used to it though, I can't imagine having my monitor any brighter now.

Thanks! I guess that's the good thing about the test prints they do for free when opening an acct! I'll have to make sure I test out some more photos asap...after I edit them again!
