Went for an interview yesterday and just got offered the job!

WOO HOO.... New Lens here I come!

In June I was 'let go' from my job..... which I just LOVED!!!

I was devastated. Since then I have applied for over 500 jobs. I had quite a few interviews and have been second choice for about 6 jobs.

I had a feeling when I left the interview on thursday night I knew I was a good chance at the job so when I got the call I was very happy.

I have a background in purchasing but this job is in Sales, General Admin, Reception, Scheduling, Personal Assistant type role. They make, sell and install Sun Screens, shades and awnings but they are the top quality marine grade millionaires market type thing. I'll be in the office on my own a lot because there is only 2 sales guys and two installers and me!

I'm pretty excited because its just 5km away from my new apartment in the city.

Oh I went and got prices for the Canon 100mm 2.8 but there is a new L series version about to hit the stores here so I'm waiting for that
