Thread: Yesterday's Beach Session

This was a fun one, though the kids did jump into the water before we got any good dry clothes pics. CC Please!

as always, it's SO hard to pick a favorite!!! I love the sillouette, but there are so many other great shots too. I think #5 may be my favorite (until I look again) ... I just love the playful nature of the shot - seems like you've summed up "boy" in a single frame.

I love these! #1 is my favorite...love the composition and it's an awesome capture. My only CC is that I don't like the processing on #3, it's overly soft and I just can't see them that well. I also don't like how yellow they are. I like that you're going for something here...but I think maybe that soft washed out blue haze would work better than the air polution yellow haze.

Also, I don't mind a centered picture, but I don't think it works in your last shot. If he were on the left hand side of the photo, it would have more power and tell more of a story. I could imagine that feather floating off the right hand side of the frame. With the curent composition, It feels stuck and lacks movement.

Number 1 really stands out to me. Great pic! What a cute family

I wish I had a beach close by, these look like such fun! (wish you had numbered the photos, would make replying easier). the second one is really sweet. and I'd love to see a tighter crop on the first. I agree on the processing on the 4th, just too yellow and almost hazy. I get what you were trying to do, just don't think the color combo works. LOVE the silouette, it's my favorite!
