Thread: You know you think too much about photography when...

The sky was cloudy last night because of a storm coming in. Everything was a pretty shade of green in the yard. My first thought was "Oh, what an aweful green color cast that would put on the girls if I took any pics right now." Yeah, I'm a dork!!!

Any other funny times that you have thought about the lighting or colors when you weren't even taking pictures?

ALL the time! I see 'spots' I want to take pictures and make a mental note as to what I'd like to do there. There's this GREAT gate by my house with amazing light that I want to do an older girl there....but alas, no older models for me to use. I'll just have to keep in my thoughts for now

That is me like, all the time! I see the whole world differently now.

LOL! I often think "oh that light is just gorgeous, whether I am out with my camera or not. I also have dreams where I am mithering about my 365, lol!

all of the time! especially when I'm driving and I don't even have my camera.

Why do we always see these things when we don't have the camera? But when I do have my camera, do you think I see anything? NOPE!


This morning I was driving to work and the way the clouds looked, and the way the sun was laying on the trees in the mountains.... beautiful! I so wish I had my camera and I would have pulled off to take a few. I never would have noticed that before. I really do feel like I am more in touch with nature and things in general now. It's pretty amazing!
