You know you've got the bug when...

I just have to share two funny moments from my week that highlighted for me how much I've got the photography bug right now. I'm just so in the mood to figure things out and learn more! Anyway:

Moment #1: Yesterday morning I had an idea for a shot I'd like to try in my house, but it requires a really bright and sunny day, and it was very overcast. I got really bummed out because I didn't want to have to wait for better weather to try it.

Moment #2: Today I went to visit a friend and see her new house, and it is BEAUTIFUL... but the first thing I thought wasn't how beautiful it was, it was "Wow, I could get some awesome photos in this living room!" because it had sooooo much natural light -- and great walls/furniture (compared to our ridiculous yellow walls and old furniture).

Clearly I'm thinking too much about photography lately! Wink

I do things like that all the time! I'm always thinking oh that would make a great picture, oh that would be a nice photo shoot location, oh I want to come back here with my camera, man I wish I had my camera. I told my husband I was going to start bringing my camera everywhere with me, pull off the road, and take random pictures of things I like. You are definitely not the only one with the photography bug! Smile

I can totally relate to that! Sometimes I force myself to leave my camera behind, that way I can just enjoy the experience without being obsessed about capturing a perfect representation of it! But, inevitably, when I do choose not to bring it along I always kick myself for it! Haha

This ALWAYS happens to me! In fact, happened to me this weekend.

Oh well ... live and learn I guess.

Glad to know I'm not alone.

Best,

Oh, I'm so like that too! I've gotten into the habbit of bringing my camera with us, but leaving it in the car. That way, if I see something (like a pretty sunset), we can pull over to the side of the road and take a picture Wink

Oh yes, this is me too!
I pretty much bring my camera with me whenever I leave the house "just in case" I see something. I'm always thinking "oh, that would be a cool picture"

I constantly have didn't-bring-the-camera remorse! And I hear you on the nice, open, sunny rooms. I swear I live in a cave because we have very little natural light in our house, and the places where we do have light aren't ideal for pictures. Part of it is my own doing, though. Our house was much lighter before I painted the walls in the living room and kitchen green and the dining room red. *Le sigh* Live and learn!
