almost my entire immediate family is in lockdown in the Boston area this morning. Thankfully, none are within a few miles of the action. This week has been so crazy. I'm so ready to be done.

Virginia: yikes, hope they find that guy soon so everyone can breathe easy!

Katie: So funny how exciting things like that are when you have kids. WTG Evan!

Lauren: trying to squeeze in a workout with a baby is TOUGH! Hopefully he'll start taking consistent naps soon - just in time for Xander to quit napping (KIDDING! I hope ). One word of advice I have is get ready before you start putting him down for a nap, that way if he does go down, you have every single second possible. I still do this a lot of the time.

No plans for today. It's supposed to rain so probably a boring day hanging around the house. DH is running a half marathon in the morning for "training" for his half ironman so if the weather isn't bad we'll probably go watch him in the morning. Then we have an MLS game tomorrow night (woohoo for date night!).

Katie - YAY For Even pooping in the potty!!! That's a great milestone.

Virginia - Good to hear your family is in a safe area of Boston, hope everything is over with soon.

Ashley - Hope you find some fun on your rainy day. I have to look at getting some Toronto FC tickets this year, I've gone to a few soccer games and really enjoyed them.

In the office today, having trouble focusing :/.

Wish there would be something going on with my dad I hate things being in limbo.

I made a big batch of Potato Leek soup yesterday, gave two jars to my mom, it's the happiest I've seen her since my dad went into the hospital. So glad I could do something little to make her feel better, even though it was breifly.

Going out for dinner and to the movies tonight.

The weekend is filled with shopping, Dana needs summer clothes and a Grade 8 graduation dress (her school goes from JK to Grade .

Virginia - Yikes!! I was hearing reports that they had found the other guy, so hopefully that situation will be calming down soon. The whole thing just sounds very twilight zone crazy to me.

Ash - Sorry your DH is vetoing your name choice! I'm SHOCKED that I actually talked DH into the name I wanted this time.

Amanda - Yeah, I'm not sure about that whole dog situation. I'll be interested to see what they decide. It didn't sound to me like the dog was biting out of malice... The way she described it seemed like the dog was young, energetic, and excitable when it comes to food. I think normally that could probably be trained out, but if you're going to have a toddler walking around with snacks regularly, it would not be easy.

Jen - Sorry about the house, booo! I *dread* the process of trying to sell ours. We're actually seriously looking at some land for our next house, but we won't be able to build on it until we sell our current house, and that task just feels daunting. We're meeting with our realtor and our contractor (my uncle, haha) to look at it on Tuesday, so hopefully I'll know more then.

Katie - YAY for daycare potty poop!!!

AFM - Nothing too exciting to report. Well, I'll be FULL TERM tomorrow!! That is exciting!! It doesn't feel real. It really does not. Insane. I think the whole thing is just taking me by surprise. Funny how it could still feel shocking after all these months of living it and thinking about it. I want to see his face, hear his cry. I'm getting antsy, nervous, excited, etc.

Work is a good distraction. I feel like I'm constantly there. Today was day 4 of 7. It's my first long week like that in a while, so I'm really ready for a day off on Tuesday. I'll have my OB appointment in the morning, followed by an NST, then we'll go to see the land we're looking at. Should be a busy, but hopefully good day.

Full term today, yay! I still have 3 weeks till my EDD and I'm already tired of pointless contractions. I've never contracted anywhere CLOSE to this much with my other two, omg.

And also, baby's butt is about to fracture my right rib cage.

Amanda - my mom is totally that way, hiding the truth from us to shelter us... Then AFTER the fact you find out what was really going on. I really hope she's not doing that to you now, though.

Mary - I don't know how you keep up with everything right now! You exhaust me and I'm not even pregnant!

Ash - hope your DH did good in his marathon.

Virginia - how's the mood by you now?

AFM - The sun finally came out today!!!!!!! WAHOO! It was still a little chilly, but not cold. I'll take it! We took a loooong family walk and let Xander play in the backyard for a long time. Unfortunately, Benjamin HATES being outside at this point, so you can only have him outside for so long before he freaks. Even if you cover him or put him under the umbrella. Uggggh. He's going to have to get over it, because we will be outside a ton this spring/summer and he isn't going to get a say (cry) about it. heh. Hopefully all these little bits outside are adding up and helping his eyes to adjust.

New Dr. Who tonight, yaaay (I know some of you will appreciate that, heh).

Lauren - Don't even get me started, lol. I'm a worthless ball of exhausted, swollen grossness by the time I get home everyday, hahaha. I usually come home and die on the couch for a few hours before working up the energy to go upstairs to bed. Hahaha.

Glad you got to enjoy some sun! Sorry Benjamin doesn't like it. I'm sure he'll grow to love it. I'm SO glad it's finally starting to feel Springy. It was pretty cold today (high was only 4... But we've had several days in the 60's/70's, and it even hit 80 a couple days ago. LOVE it. I'm so excited to be having the baby at this time of year. I will get to spend so much of the warm gorgeous weather at home with my babies.

Mary - Yay for full term!

Lauren - Watched Dr Who , enjoyed it greatly.

    Keeping it quick.

Apollo had week one of his Beginner training this morning did really well, likely cause we already taught him what we were learning. Next week should be interesting since its walking loose on a leash.

My dad is doing a bit better, hoping it's all good news from now on.

Found Dana a dress for her Grade 8 graduation, went to a high end second hand store for teens and found a dress she loved for $16 + tax, less than $20 total. She looks great in it so it was a total SCORE! She likes my dress shoes so is going to wear them with it (yay FREE). We'll get a shawl and some jewelry but that shouldn't be too expensive.

Mary: for full term! Sorry about the ribs, but I completely understand...I broke a rib in high school and have issues with it every pregnancy. I'd never made it this far without issues so I thought I was in the clear but Thursday & Friday I literally thought I was going to have a mental breakdown because I was in so much pain on the backside of my rib cage (so like mid/lower back) that I couldn't sit or lay comfortably and standing was starting to hurt too. Luckily, either my rib popped into a better position or baby moved enough to take pressure off of it and I can finally sleep and sit again but I had an ugly few days.

Amanda: nice score on the dress! Glad to hear your dad is improving

Lauren: bummer that Benjamin doesn't like being outside - that's tough, especially with a toddler!

DH beat his goal for his run yesterday so he's pretty happy. Security was nuts down at the finish line, but well appreciated. It was POURING rain and only like 45 degrees so not the most fun the kids and I have had (lol) but they were troupers and didn't whine much even though we were all soaked (despite my best efforts). Boring Sunday - just cleaning and trying to get caught up on stuff.

Amanda - glad to hear about you dad.

Mary - yay for full term! I was a lot less anxious to have baby #3 than the others. I was pretty happy just being pregnant.

AFM: everything has finally calmed down. Except DH's work. he's been super busy all week and had to work from home some this weekend. Boo. And Oliver is sick. Yesterday he fell asleep at the table before touching his lunch then threw up during his nap and woke with a fever. He devoured dinner then crash in bed at 7:30 and slept until 9:30 this morning (still with a fever). He ate like crazy and was asleep again by noon. If he's not back to normal tomorrow I think I'll call the doctor.

ETA: yay! Oliver woke up and is acting more like normal (taking off his clothes and diaper and trying to type for me). Hopefully his fever won't be back this evening (I gave him ibu this morning because he seemed miserable).
