Cari - That's awesome! I've been trying to sell our pool table on CL for a while just to make room in the basement for all the toys. The basement is finished, so it'll be a nice play room. But I've only had one kinda crappy offer... Sorta wishing I had taken it now. It'd be worth it just because whoever buys it must agree to disassemble/haul it out. This person was going to do it. Should've taken the offer!

AFM - The highlight of the doc visit was that the nurse complimented Sean on his vocabulary. He was talking up a storm to her, so that was nice.

Cari - awesome! I keep meaning to CL some extra cloth diapers I have. I just have to find them first.

Mary - you should totally switch doctors after you get that refund.

Karen - Hi! Sorry your sleep is so rough. Any news on the next baby?

AFM: At nap time Raymond joined in while I read to Alex then followed us upstairs and climbed into bed. I should be cleaning the house, but as soon as Oliver falls asleep I'm going to nap, too.
Not as exciting, last night DH said again he thinks 3 kids might be his limit. So now I guess I have to hope for accidental twins or triplets? Not now, but maybe in a few years.

Sandra, I followed Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Baby. He gives several different methods to tailor to your child. We essentially did CIO and it took two nights. The first night he screamed like crazy for 45 minutes, but the second night he only lightly cried for 20 minutes. I still got up a few times to feed him during the night, but after that first night he would fall right back asleep after each feeding. Otherwise I'd have to rock him to sleep for 1 1/2 hours every.freakin.time. he woke up, which left me exhausted! I was averaging 2-3 hours of sleep per night and after months of that I just couldn't physically do it anymore... That first night was Hell, I won't lie. My DH and I sat on the couch practically bawling the entire time he cried. It was so hard! But I knew I couldn't cave and go get him, as much as I wanted to. I was on the brink of a mental breakdown from lack of sleep and knew it had to be done for the sake of the entire family. So anyone that is judging me for using CIO can just stop right now - sometimes it's just what has to be done. He wasn't getting enough sleep. I wasn't getting enough sleep. DH was getting screamed at over everything. It just wasn't a good situation. Now I have the best sleeper in the world that sleep from 7-6 every night and naps from 1-2:30/3 every day with no crying, no complaining - just happiness. You say "it's nap time!" or "it's time for bed!" and he's climbing up the stairs as fast as he can! lol.

Okay, enough about that. I'd write more, but I'm at my parents and Xander is getting into everything. haha.

Lauren - when did you get your BFP last time? Can you test soon?

Training makes for an odd day - long and fast. She seems interested but she's going to need to take notes if she wants to survive I'm not going to take well to explaining twice. Or she better have a heck of a memory! Maybe today was just her getting used to things.

Thoughts on little blister like rash Evan has on his feet? It's not horrible I almost missed it but I realized it's on both feet. He doesn't seem to mind....

Virginia- No, no immediate baby plans. I go back n forth between wanting want now and wanting one never. I think it might have something to do with how the 3 monsters I have no are behaving. I'm glad to hear your mom is doing well after surgery. I'm sure that was stressful.

Hi Karen! I'm so glad a lot of the old gang is still here.

Speaking of sleep, I have such insomnia! All day I'm practically falling asleep where I stand ( I did dose a little while Luke was getting into all sorts of shananagans. But now that it's time for bed, nothing. I'm wide awake. This stinks.

Had my dr's appointment today. Nothing special. Just blood and pap. The fun day will be the ultrasound which is next week on Thursday! Woohoo! The only bad thing is that DH is stuck at training next week and won't be able to make it.

I've been strongly considering it! I have never really loved that office. The pediatrician rubbed me the wrong way VERY early on with Sean about EP-ing (perhaps I should thank her for giving me the motivation to succeed when she said I couldn't do it?). They're just always a bit abrasive... Several of my neighbors all use the same ped and highly recommend him, so I've been thinking of seeing if he's accepting patients.

Katie - The training thing doesn't sound overly fun, haha... I'm the same way, I want them to pick it up the first time. Unfortunately, I have two employees that I have to explain basic things to after 3 years and 1 year of working there.

Cari - Boooo for your DH having to miss the u/s!! My DH missed a couple of my appointments towards the end of my pregnancy... We just decided for him not to go because it was during DS1's nap time, and he was getting to be a handful to take to the office at that time of day. And of course he always missed something exciting... A couple *surprise* u/s's, a couple surprise trips to L&D. It just got to be too hard to take DS1 though because he's hyperactive, haha. Not sure what we'll do next time. DH might only get to go to the 20-wk u/s, lol.

Karen - You know you want another one, lol.

AFM - I had my first-ever "webinar" at work yesterday. It was god-awful boring... My eyes were drooping and I could have easily fallen asleep. It was sorta funny though... There were like 105 people in there, and so many people couldn't figure it out and it was just sorta humorous. I'm not really sure how efficient it was, but it's better than driving 40+ minutes each way to the district office for a meeting.

ETA - The refund from the pediatrician is in my account today, woohoo! I'm glad I got it without anymore of a headache than it already caused me. I wonder if it would've shown up today anyway, or if it was a result of me filing a dispute with the bank yesterday? who cares... I got my money, woohoo! They should've had to pay me interest with as long as they kept it.

Holy ADD for me today at work. I'm just in a total space zone. OH well. I'll have to do more from home but I can catch up then I suppose!

Mary - yay for FINALLY getting the refund! And I've debating swapping Peds. I like the DOCTORS at my office but I HATE the staff. If you call for a sick visit and don't want to do it THAT DAY they treat you like the most awful mom on earth. I appreciate that they always get sick visits in the same day I really do but sometimes it's easier to schedule an apt for Thurs or Fri when it's not an emergency!

Cari - YAY of an upcoming u/s! FUN!

Baby has been really calm today......and LOW. Dear lord the pressure. He likes to hang low, make my pelvis and hip hurt. I think perhaps Evan has foot/hand/mouth disease....maybe? It says it starts with a fever and blisters in his mouth. He NEVER had a fever and I can find one tiny little mark on his tongue. He has one tiny one on his thumb and then a couple blisters on his feet. Maybe just a really mild case? I actually took his temp a couple times over the weekend b/c he fussed at his nap and NEVER does that but it was totally normal. Oh well he has acted fine and doesn't bother the little blister/marks

Virginia, I got a BFN at 10DPO last time and didn't test again til 13DPO (when I got my BFP), so I don't plan on testing early. Plus I've been spotting pretty much all week. A LOT of spotting, as-in sometimes I thought I was starting my period super early for some reason, but then it'd stop. This has seriously been the craziest cycle ever! Anyway, I'd usually start AF today or tomorrow, so I'm just going to wait. If I don't have AF by this weekend then it's time to test. Even then I'll probably wait til I get home on Sunday because I have 2 perfectly good tests waiting for me there and I don't really want to spend money on new ones. haha. I still think AF is going to start. If it doesn't it's time to actually worry about all this spotting! Absolutely NO pregnancy signs, though, and I had some last time around (extremely tender nipples and cramping).

Katie, I hope your trainee has a really good memory!! Every time I had to train someone they'd just sit there and nod, but then ask me a million questions two weeks later when they actually had to do something... I HATED it, especially when they'd call me at the worst possible time. Bah. Hope Evan doesn't have foot/mouth or anything too serious. I'm glad he's in good spirits!

Mary, yay for not driving! Too bad it was for something mega boring... Glad you got your refund!

Cari, sorry DH won't be able to make it to the u/s.

AFM, just got back from some shopping. I had to come back early because my mom got a call from her dr. that her test results came back showing she still has blood clots, they're just not breaking up for some reason (she's on meds). So she needed me to take over baby duty and give her the car so she could go see him for further testing. I hope it isn't anything bad... The poor woman just can't catch a break!

I went to a ginormous Old Navy that actually had a maternity section, so I bought some new maternity stuff they had on sale. Yeah, I'm not pregnant (um, most likely anyway, ha), but I know I'm missing some key pieces in my maternity wardrobe, so why not buy when the getting's good? haha. I spent a ton of money. heh. Some of it was non-maternity t-shirts and stuff, though. There are also a few things I might return at the local ON. I also got a few shirts at Motherhood Maternity since I was by one. I wanted to hit up some other stores, but then my mom called...

Now grandpa is playing the end of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse over and over again for Xander so he can hear the hot dog song. He's spoiling that kid!
