Virginia - glad your numbers are dropping and everything is going well. That's nice that your dr will do an early u/s next time.

Katie - woo hoo for no accidents yesterday!!

Ash - yeah, before/after pics! I want to refinish our dressers, but, well, I'm lazy and don't want to lug them downstairs and all that.

Mary - horray for normal numbers!

AFM - having one of those hormonal *****y days today. Poor DH and Xander. haha. I just feel so tired and BLAH and I want to eat like an entire cake, but I know that'd just make me feel crappier (plus there is no cake to be had).

In good news, my doctors appt went well yesterday. Baby is doing great, hb of 150 and I'm healthy as well. HOWEVER, my u/s is now going to be a full month later than what my doctor initially told me! She was all "oh we'll schedule it for 24-28 weeks" and we were supposed to schedule it yesterday, but then she hits me that the guy that does them will now only do them at 28 weeks!!!! So I have to wait yet another month just to schedule the damn thing! I am so beyond upset! And honestly, it's not even because I'm antsy to find out the gender. It's because I want to spend that week at my parents and my mom and I are going to go shopping for baby stuff, but now I have to push that back to mid/late Oct! I hate traveling in the car when I'm that far along! So I'm mad.

Lauren - LOL @ your hormonal *****y day... At least you have an excuse. What's mine?! Hahaha.

AFM - Ugggghhhh.... This cycle of mine is wonky as hell. I'm only on CD 20 and I really just wish AF would come, haha. It has been really annoying because I've had basically NO fertile CM. I'm not temping, but I felt like my body temp was hot earlier, so I took my temp and got 99.9. It's not abnormal for high 99's to be a day-time post-O temp for me, so now I'm wondering if I did manage to O somewhere in there and just didn't have much CM? I gave up on TTC this cycle after CD14 or (or 15? I forget), so unless I O'ed way earlier than I thought, there's no real chance of getting pregnant this month. But I really just wish AF would come so I could get back to a more normal cycle.

Lauren - your doc does it so late! I'd be ticked! Glad everything is going well though!

Mary - weird cycle! And glad your prolactin was normal even if you're leaky

    Hi all!

We went shopping yesterday at the outlets (Woodbury Erica ) and got fall stuff for the boys. I also picked up a ton of stuff for myself. I've been working on my wardrobe since having the boys b/c I let it go to hell while prego 2 out of the last 3 years. I added a couple suits, skirts etc yesterday. The Loft and Banana Republic Outlets were lovely. I need some brown heels but I can go to Zappos for those. shopping with the boys is a bit of an adventure but we managed to have fun

Katie - Yay for some good shopping! I can't imagine shopping with just me and my two kiddos, omg. It's bad enough when I have DH with me to help control them, haha.

Karen - If you're out there, I'm still thinking of you all the time. (((hugs)))

AFM - Just worked day 8 of 9. I tried to get tomorrow off because they were offering up voluntary time off, but someone beat me to it, boooo. I don't need to be taking unpaid days off anyway, since we're trying to save up to get out of here. I just can't resist the temptation when they offer it up. I should probably work tomorrow anyway. It will be my last day with one of my technicians that I just love to death. I've worked with her the whole time I've been back in Ohio, so about 3.5 years now. She's turning 40 soon, but she looks and acts a lot younger. She's never been married or had kids or anything... She's having a mid-life crisis and just decided to move to Hawaii. She went there on a vacation around Christmas time last year and loved it so much, she just decided to move there. Crazy. Anyway, so tomorrow is my last day with her, and I'm gonna be soooo sad!! She makes me laugh ALL. THE. TIME. so now work is going to be super quiet and boring without her. Booo!

Wow up and moving to Hawaii that's intense. But I guess when you have no kids you can go and if it doesn't work just come back right? A coworker of my husband's recently did that....crazy!

So I've been pissing and moaning about work...today I check my VM at work and a head hunter left a msg. We recently let a senior VP go and apparently he told this recruiter about me b/c he thought I was great (a nice compliment even if my company fired him lol). So there's a job in NC I'm kind of qualified for. Basically it's what I do now but in another segment. I got bored and looked at houses in Greensboro, NC. We could buy a house bigger than ours for 1/2 the price....they freaking give houses away down there! I don't know if we could really move 12 hours away from our family and I feel like I'm totally NOT a fit for the south in general. My atheist bleeding liberal heart among the bible belt would be hard to handle. I went to Mississippi once and when we were touring a confederate general's house the little pre-recorded thing talked all about how the Civil War was a "fight for state's rights" and I could hardly contain myself. If they taught my boys that in school I'd have to lecture them at home...but I'm probably being a bit prejudice in my fear of the south. And NC isn't really the deep south. And the houses...are...SO CHEAP. So I sent my resume and figured we could always freak out and turn it down later. And FYI this is NOT FB material! I have coworkers etc on there!

Katie: hahaha I had no idea the south was that way. I don't know if I could handle it. But sounds like could be a good opportunity. Hope it turns out how you'd like it to!

Mary: Sorry you're losing a good tech, but LOL that she's just up and moving. Good for her I guess. When my mom was "between" relationships, I thought she was going to do that too but then I had my DD and she couldn't move anymore

Lauren: sorry you have to wait sooooo long for your gender u/s. That's seriously lame. Do you have any feelings one way or another as to what you're having btw?

My internet has something seriously wrong with it; it's taking 3+ minutes to load a page. I'm about to lose it! Anyway, I'm 99% sure this wasn't my cycle. My POAS addiction has been in full swing this week LOL and I think I'm 11 DPO today with nothing but wishful thinking. At least I have had a decent LP so I'm not having those 3 day LP issues like last time. I'm having a ton of cramping & back pain though so I'm pretty annoyed that it's for nothing KWIM? I don't know if I've mentioned this before, but I'm suspicious that I have a blocked tube on my left side and it seems that is the side my body prefers to O from most of the time of course (I'm guessing that because I really hurt on that side most cycles and my mom had severe endo). Both times I've conceived, it "felt" like I O'ed on the other side. But obviously the only way to know is to get scoped and there's really no point since I've had 2 kids despite it. Anyway, onto the next one I guess! We're going to the lake for a week starting Friday so at least I won't have to worry about drinking and water sports.

ETA: AF just showed and I figured out why my internet was acting up. Two things resolved I guess...

Ashley - Sorry AF showed. Good luck next cycle.

    *AFM*
Just a quick check in, been pretty busy. At work I have to get stuff ready for the convention that is happening in 3 & 1/2 weeks, wondering where the time has gone.

Ashley - Sorry the witch showed, but you made me feel better with your POAS addiction, hahaha.

I "accidentally" tested the other day because I got restless... This cycle has been wonky and I haven't known if/when I was O'ing, no real fertile signs, etc. It was one of those annoying cheapo tests (my last one, thank goodness) and anyway, there was a faint line on it. Tested today with a FRER... Again, SUPER faint line, like so faint you have to turn it a certain way to see it, lol. I don't know what DPO I am, but the most it could be is 10, because I NEVER ovulate before day 14, and rarely even that early. Usually somewhere around 16-17. So I'm estimating that I'm around 8dpo, but that's a total guess since I never felt overly fertile. We'll see if the tests get darker or not.

Katie - Good luck with the work situation!!

Speaking of work situations... It's starting to sound pretty promising that I'll get my transfer. I'm (almost) elated!!! I'll be more elated when it's written in stone, haha. I bought a bunch of huge 25-gal storage totes today to start packing away all of our belongings. Of course that makes me nervous at the prospect of being pregnant.

Oh, in other news, I saw my OB today about my continued lactation. My prolactin is normal, but he wants to order a breast u/s just to make sure nothing abnormal. I think it's overkill, but my DH thinks I should do it and be cautious.

I hope you find your paper, Amanda - Oops! Speaking of which, I still need to take Sean for his blood allergy test.

AFM - A girl from my March board is having a baby... SOON!! Her water broke a couple hours ago and she's having a home water birth. All the girls on the board are bugging her because she didn't have it set up with a webcam, hahaha. It would be neat to watch!!

And of course, this fuels the baby fever. *Sigh*
