I think you did, too. You look great. I love the belly!
Ahh, Jen! You definitely popped! You look cute!
Are you team green again this pregnancy?
You did pop, you look cute.
I figured I would update since it's been a while!! And this thread has been dead!!
I feel enormous. And the sudden 70+ degree temperatures aren't helping much, either!! How is it so dang hot in March already?!
Anyhow, for comparison, because I think he totally flipped from transverse to head-down in the last several days, the first pic is last week at 25, and the second is this week at 26. What do you think? I think I look different. Although, I'm still early and he still has plenty of room to move all which ways, so I'm sure he won't stay.
You do look different, what a wonderful belly.
Def different! You look great!
AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! You look so dang cute! And yes, you look different between weeks.
you look great! How are you almost 27 weeks already?
I know, Virginia, it really flies, doesn't it? I guess I'll keep going since I'm one of the last preggo's standing so far, being as Laura is MIA!
Okay, so a friend of mine offered to take a crash course in my camera and then took some photos of me and the fam on her parent's farm yesterday. So I'm going to use one of those as this week's belly pic. Here it is! I am huge - especially in my butt, which I didn't see until I uploaded these pics of myself! Haha. I've had some pretty big weight jumps between appointments, and I know it's all the evening bowls of ice cream. But, oh well. It's the only time in my life I can eat ice cream without feeling guilty, so I'm gonna! Oh and yes, it's the same shirt as my last belly pic.
30 weeks? wow. How are you doing? you look great.
Wow you really have grown, looking great.
Thanks, ladies! Yeah Virgina, I am feeling pretty good! I'm tired, but I think that comes with chasing a two year old, too. I've started to get a little puffy at the end of the day in my fingers and feet, but I think that's due to the sudden 90 degree heat and humidity!
Okay, tell me what you think, ladies! Have I dropped since last week, or do you think it's just the way my shirt is in this week's pic??
33 weeks vs. 34 weeks
You look great! I never can tell if someone has dropped, though. How are you feeling? Does baby seem happy staying put?
I can never tell, either! Ha. I think the way my shirt is pulled down this week makes it hard to tell, too. Oh well!
Virgina, yes he is happy staying put! I had my 34 week appointment yesterday, along with a follow-up u/s (they are keeping track of his ureters (tube from kidney to bladder) because they are slightly dilated. It's super common in baby boys and usually resolves by birth. Even if they don't, it's nothing serious!). At my u/s, my cervix is still holding tight at 4 cm! Which is super long for this point (average for 32-36 weeks is 3-3.5 cm)! Anyhow, he is doing well and head down! They did notice he has the cord around his neck, so now they are bringing me back for another u/s in 2 weeks to check that. Sigh. And now there are rumblings of a c-section if it is, but I think I'm going to fight that!
Also, I had her check me (for peace of mind since I've been having some BH's), since she was "down there" for my GBS swab, and she told me I was high, thick, and totally sealed. So yay! I know it's okay to have some changes at this point with a second baby, but after having a 36 weeker (and 5 weeks of PTL), I am super thrilled to NOT have PTL or any changes! By 31 weeks with Owen, I was .5 cm dilated and almost fully effaced. So yay for no progress! Haha.
sorry about the cord. at least they know! usually it's not a big deal, but... DS1 had some issues with it. He's fine, though, just took some quick moving at the end of delivery and I was probably close to an emergency c/s.
I hope they don't really press the c/s. Maybe you could try vbac but with epi in place and monitoring? That way they'd know if he needed to get out quickly. Good luck. I'm glad he's staying put for now.
Good to hear things are going pretty well, to me you look to have dropped. Your belly is adorable.
I can't tell bellies either but you look SUPER cute and I'm so glad you aren't dealing with PTL stresses! Watch you go over this go around I am sending you ELVs and a nice fat (but maybe not as fat as my babies...) full term baby!
Jen - Looking good! Of course I'm like a week late on this, so you're probably due for another picture soon, hahah. I love your belly, but it looks uncomfortable!! I have a sympathy back-ache for you, hahaha. Sorry to hear about the cord... That's just unnecessary added stress. But yeah, at least they're aware of it going in so they can be prepared.
Thanks everyone! I'm glad he is content to bake away, too! And I have a plan in place if the cord is still around his neck next week at my appointment, so hopefully either way we will avoid the c/s!
Mary, you know, my back is actually doing okay! It definitely gets tired from time to time, especially leaning over doing things like laundry and wrangling Owen into clothes or something, but generally it's not too bad! I'm shocked, really. The thing that hurts me the most is my pelvis! Getting out of bed at night to pee HURTS! Ouch!
Okay, here I am! 35 weeks!
SO cute! You look fantastic! And I don't miss pelvic pain - I had it terribly with Rory!
The belly is sooo cute.
I love the picture at your sprinkle that you posted on FB of you and the other pregnant ladies, you are so petite with a big belly.
I love it! what a perfect belly. KUP on how your appointment goes!
Jen - love it!!! kup
Alright y'all, I wouldn't normally post a picture so dang early (I'm 9 weeks tomorrow), but holy geez I have this freakin' belly for some reason! I haven't gained any weight yet, but none of my pants fit and people that know say they can tell. Anyhoo, here's a few pics to compare:
Pardon how icky I look in the last pic, it was early and I hadn't bothered with even combing my hair yet! HA! Anyway, can't you see a huge difference between last Saturday (8weeks) and a mere 6 days later!?!!? And it was early morning, I hadn't just eaten or anything... It's just..... There.
Oh, and I love how Xander popped into the picture! hee hee
Did you start out skinnier than before Xander? You look fantastic in your pre-preg pic! Just had to say that And you totally have a cute little belly already! Crazy for sure. LOVE Xander poking in, toddlers are great.
love the pic! you definitely have a little belly, but I'm not sure I'd think that much of it unless I knew you and was able to "compare" to the pre-preg you.
That last one definitely looks like a little bump, cute
Lauren - You're so cute! Definitely have a little bump there in that last pic!
Here I am! 37 weeks! Yay full term!
Congrats on making full term! You look great, carrying all in the front by the looks of it.
Lauren- love Xander in that last one lol.
Yay for full term! I can't believe how close you are. You look fantastic!
You look great congrats in the full term milestone!
Jen - you look great!!!
Katie - I actually started this pregnancy 4 lbs higher than where I started Xander's. I was the same weight, but we'd just gone away and then had family visit right before I got my BFP, so I'd eaten too much crap and never had a chance to get that weight off! hahaha. At least I haven't gained anything during the pregnancy, though... Yet.
Jen - Looking good! Of course, that pic was posted 10 days ago.. We need a new one! Looks super uncomfortable.. I hope you're hanging in there!
Lauren - Cute little bump... we need an updated pic of yours too! LOL at Xander in the last one, hahaha.
Yeah, I'm kind of late on this! In two days (if he's not here by then!) I'll be posting my 39 week pic! Anyhow, here I am at 38! It's so funny, from weeks 12-37 I stood one way, and then last week totally went the other way! Now all my pictures don't flow well. Haha.
You're too cute!! I did that with my belly pics, too. I've alternated a few times now. haha. Oh well.
you look great, Jen!
You look wonderful, can't believe you are almost 39 weeks.
Okay, 39 week picture (well, 39w4d if you're being technical ;))! Sorry, I look totally out of it here! I just came from my chiro appointment and she always messes up my hair when she does my neck! Haha. Hopefully this is the last picture!!!
great picture! I hope your little boy comes soon!
What a huge belly, hope that little one comes soon (or has come).
Is it weird that I'm posting belly pics this early? I'm taking them because my pregnancy journal has a slot for every. single. week. So I'm trying really hard to remember to take one every week, and I figure why not post them here? Even if there's not much to show... Anyway, here are weeks 9-12.
9 Weeks (at the Milwaukee Zoo)
10 Weeks (haha, I love this one - we happened through this town and had to stop and take my belly pic)
you look great! Not too much of a belly yet but I can see it starting.
I don't think it's weird that you're taking them early. I try to do weekly.
I agree with Virginia, not weird at all, love the little bit of a bump you do have already.
Jen - Holy moly girl, that baby physically can not stay in there much longer! Hoping for some news soon!
Lauren - Not weird at all! I started posting them at 4 weeks with Sean, hahaha. I'm sad because I have very few belly pics of me with Calvin. I didn't allow myself to get attached until at least 20 weeks, probably closer to 24 weeks, because I was so traumatized by the m/c and the early bleeding with him. So it's definitely better to have MORE pictures as opposed to not enough.
Still no weight gain as of yet, but it sure doesn't look that way! haha
you're 15 weeks? oh my goodness. time sure flies! You look great.
That belly is starting to show, guess no hiding it. I think it's cute.
Looking great, Lauren! I can't believe you're in the second tri, either! It's so crazy how other people's pregnancies go so much faster than your own!
