Benjamin Calvin is here!

Benjamin Calvin was born at 4:34am weighing 7lb 11oz. He's 21 1/2 inches long. He was born on Festivus! Hahaha though he was born two weeks earlier than Xander (39 weeks vs 41 weeks) he weighed a full pound more and was an inc longer! Wowsa! He is absolutely precious and I will post pictures when I'm home and can take them off my camera.

My birth was crazy fast, though pretty intense at the end. I pushed twice to get him out. That's it! However, I needed an episiotomy because he came so fast and there was no time to stretch me. Other than that I did it all natural. I'm starting to think epidurals are probably pretty awesome, though. Ha! I'm always looking at Jer at the end saying "why am I doing this again?!" heh

I'm feeling good now. Benjamin is nursing great so far, let's hope it stays that way... I have only slept an hour or so in the last 24, so I think I'll be sending him to the nursery in a bit so I can sleep. I was in labor all last night, so no sleep for me!

We should get to go home tomorrow, so we will be able to do Christmas as a family!
