Have you all started your holiday festivities yet? We went to the zoo with my parents yesterday to see some animals and the lights. It was SO cold, between 26-29 degrees. The boys were each wearing like 4 shirts, two pairs of pants, a snow suit, and 2-3 pairs of socks. Calvin had on 2 hats and the hood of his coat, Sean had one hat and the hood of his coat. Calvin REFUSED to wear gloves, but we held his hands, blew on them, and kept them as warm as possible. Crazy.

I follow a local weather man on my fb, and he says they're calling for us to have 6-12 inches of snow Christmas night, into the morning of the 26th. Yikes! I have to work at 8am that day. Ugh...

We haven't done anything really yet. We went for a walk around the neighborhood last night to see lights. Oliver won't wear mittens either, so his hands got pretty cold. GL with the snow. And I am so jealous that you're 20 weeks now! Wow.

AFM: Bleeding/spotting is finally stopping. I'm getting the very beginnings of fertile signs. I'm hoping to O in a week or so.

Virginia - Yikes about the pacifiers! Crazy! GL taking it away! Owen still has one for bedtime, argh. We keep telling him the pacifier fairy is coming soon, haha. We took Sam's away like a month ago because we were getting zero sleep - literally. I think in September and October, I averaged an hour a night!

Mary - Yay for Christmas vacation! I am seriously so excited to hear what the baby's gender is!

Lauren - What, you can't just cross your legs and keep that baby in there?! MEN!

Ash - Have fun doing Christmas with your dad!! I don't envy the 4 hour trip, that's for sure! That's about the drive we have to my parent's house, and sometimes it's just brutal (the PA Turnpike is sooooo boring).

AFM - Sam's appointment with the specialist went well! She basically said from his u/s there is no obstruction, and that basically this is just something he has to outgrow. He COULD have urine refluxing back into his kidneys, but the only way to tell that is filling his bladder with dye and then taking pictures as he pees to see how the flow is. But even if he DOES have reflux, that's also something he will outgrow! So yay, either way, it's something he should outgrow. Our plan of action is to do another u/s next month, and if it's still persistent, then we'll do the dye test. If he has the reflux, they like to do preventative antibiotics since UTI's and infections and the like can cause scar tissue and later organ damage. I don't know if I would do them, though. There is currently a huge study going on with kids on antibiotics vs. kids on sugar pills to see if the antibiotics actually do anything. She said he would outgrow it by 5 or 6, so I don't think I really want to give my kid antibiotics until he's in kindergarten! He's never had an infection, so I think we'd wait on that. So, anyhow, long story short ... he will outgrow it!

Jen - Glad to hear he should outgrow it! That's gotta be a relief.

Virginia - Glad the spotting/bleeding is easing up and the fertile signs are coming back. I hope you get to conceive a new years baby.

AFM - Off to bed... Busy day of visiting family for the Eve tomorrow.

Hi All I'm so behind I have skimmed to catch up, December is just so unruly busy around here!

Virginia - I'm so sorry :: I wish you tons of luck this cycle!

Mary - You kept us all in suspense today on FB You have a lot of stalkers hehe

Jen - Hm I don't think I'd want antibiotics that long either, if he had infections I suppose that's one thing but if not what's the point? At least you can just wait and he'll out grow it.

Lauren - CONGRATS!!!! Hope you're enjoying a nice holiday home with 2 boys!

    Hi everyone I'm missing!

Few we've gone from bday to Christmas, been to the inlaws, and then work chaos. I'm exhausted but it's been SO much fun around here. Evan was SO excited he woke up at 1:30 last night and wanted to go downstairs. So cute (especially b/c I didn't wake up DH did lol). At 7 we were all up opening gifts and now (1) Rory is napping and Evan is watching some cartoons while DH makes dinner. I hope you all have a lovely holiday!!

Mary: I already posted on your BB but congrats again!! So much fun in store for you I'm sure with 3 little dudes!

Merry Christmas everyone I'll catch up on the thread soon, too much going on today. The kids had a hard time waking up to get into presents this morning and are both napping now...too much fun on Christmas Eve I guess! They did seem to enjoy opening presents (especially Brekke). DH & I - who "don't get each other anything" - were both apparently thinking about soccer when we bought gifts because I got "us" a foosball table and he got "us" season ticket to our MLS team. Should be tons of fun! Hope you are all having a great day!

Maybe I can form my own boy band in a few years? LOL!

Ashley - Glad you guys have had a good Christmas! Ours was good. Calvin is passed out now. Sean is still playing with toys. He has played great with his new toys today. And it cracks me up to see which ones get Calvin's interest. I had bought a little toy dog that we were selling at work, it was only like 6 bucks... It has a cord that leads to a little control that has two buttons. One button makes the dog walk, the other button makes it bark and wag its tail. Calvin freaking LOVES that thing. He was cracking up laughing at it and SQUEALING. Too funny.

We're supposed to get some pretty big snow/ice starting late tonight and into tomorrow. I hate that I have to work tomorrow, booo!

ETA - Then Calvin woke up at 5:30 this morning (after fussing all night) and started puking/dry heaving, I guess his stomach was a bit empty. I guarantee it's because the IL's gave them a TON of candy yesterday, and in the midst of trying to be polite on Christmas, he ate a ton of freaking candy and no real food. GRR. Then they stayed for-freaking-ever and I basically didn't get a chance to play with the kids and their toys on Christmas. Fun stuff.
