Katie - I have a solution for you a truck and pet friendly hotels, kidding of course, could you imagine? I have 4 pets and it would be difficult to transport them all across a country.

Virginia - I hope this is your month, everything is crossed for you.

Mary - Hope your short Monday flies/flew by. Also hope Calvin's arm is healing well.

Ashley - Hoping Dane's rash is ok, did you switch detergents? I have to be careful with Natalie, she has really sensitive skin.

Had my injections on Friday, really wish a cure could be found for Dystonia. I forgot to take Advil in advance so it was a bit more painful than usual, thankfully the discomfort after isn't nearly as bad as previous times.

Saturday just seemd to fly by.

Sunday I spent the day cleaning up quite a bit, we are hosting Natalie's belated birthday party at my house this up-coming weekend and my house is a DISASTER!

I'm at work today, my morning was ok but by the time luch time came around I was EXHAUSTED!

Hello all - I guess I should join the February chat, considering it's Feb 4th now, hahaha. Ooops. I probably won't post much tonight.. Just feeling really nauseated for some reason. I've had heartburn all day, so I'm going to try some zantac before bed and hope that helps. But I also have some sort of strange headache. I don't know... It's not even that my head really hurts. It's more like my ears are just sensitive to EVERYTHING. Like we were trying to watch a DVR'ed episode of American Idol and I just wanted to hold my ears and cry, even when the GOOD people sang. Everything just feels incredibly loud and it hurts. Blah.

Amanda - Sorry you don't have any better treatment options for the dystonia and the injections suck. Hopefully someday there will be something better.

Virginia - Updated HPT pics???

Ashley - How is Dane's rash?

AFM - Took Calvin to the f/u appt with the opthopedic nurse practitioner today. They did xrays on his arm and basically told us it looks good so far. They added some padding to the top of the brace thing he has on his arm because it was sorta cutting into his skin on his upper arm. We'll go back next Friday for more xrays. There's a chance that he'll get the pins out then. She said with most fractures, they can take the pins out at 3 weeks, but this particular type of fracture is just unpredictable. So we might find out next Friday that we have to keep the pins in for longer. They like to take the pins out ASAP because they're apparently actually sticking out of the skin (we haven't seen them because he can't take the brace thing off)... But anyway, having them penetrating the skin for that prolonged period leaves him more prone to infection, so hopefully we'll be able to get them out soon. After the pins come out, there's a pretty good chance he'll get a hard cast. I'm okay with that because I'm not ready for him to have his arm out and vulnerable yet.

And... He just pooped and reached his hand up in his diaper, apparently. He had stripped his pants off. He came walking over to me holding his poopy hand out, saying "Eww! Eww!" OMG. Thank goodness DH cleaned him up after that one.

Amanda: sorry you have to deal with the injections, that would be such a bummer to deal with :( I actually did switch detergents so I've switched back in hopes of that possibly helping and changed his sheets and washed his blankets he sleeps with too.

Mary: I posted over in January (oops) but it's mostly better on his body aside from his skin feeling kind of rough but his eyes and around his mouth are really irritated still. It's so frustrating to not know exactly what's causing it, but after watching him itch at his eyes today I'm pretty confident the rash is eczema related which obviously has a million triggers and it tough to clear up. That's good that Calvin could potentially get the pins out soon and be in a hard cast..I'd personally feel way less stressed out with one of those bad boys protecting it! And oh my YUCK I saw that on FB about him getting into his diaper...soooo nasty!! I've lucked out with my kids so far not doing that, but my mom says when I was little I used to smear it on my walls when I was in my crib if I got left in there too long.

Baby is kicking up a storm tonight. It sort of bums me out that this is the last time I'll get to feel a wiggly baby in my belly so as much as I've enjoyed it in the past, I'm really relishing in it this time even more. I can feel his little boney whatevers (you know, knee/foot/hand/elbow/something) through my skin and I think it's pretty much the coolest thing ever. DH disagrees and says it freaks him out - haha. We stayed up way too late last night so I'm about to call it a night, maybe watch some of The Followers (new Kevin Bacon TV series) in bed for a bit. Anyone else watch that?

I posted a new pic yesterday. Things still look probably okay. tests were a little darker this morning. I'm having trouble finding optimism, but I think that's probably expected.

Mary - Glad Calvin's arm is healing well, hope the pins come out soon. Ewwwww about the poop.

Ashley - I loved baby kick, that's one thing I really miss about pregnancy. My DH always thought the kicks were cool, my sister thought it was weird and nick named Natalie Ripley (Alien Movie) because of it.

virginia - I'll have to check out your sticks, haven't been on the DYSAL boards. I am sure everything will be fine, I'll try to send you sticky and girl vibes all at once. :D

OMG yesterday Natalie was a terror, she trashed the house, her room is covered in toys, the living room covered in kids books, when she was "going potty" put gobs of palm aid (hair wax) in her hair "because it was messy", after washing it 4 times her hair still looks bad.

Thankfully Dana's been good, glad to have a well behaved teen since my 4 year old is a complete terror.

Working today, then I am off the rest of the week, hosting a party for all the winter birthdays in our family this weekend have to get ready for that.

Virginia - Just looked at your lines, they look great.

I am really debated on this, any words of advice, DH's birthday is in a week and a 1/2 I got him a small gift, a book at $25, but wanted to get him something a bit more. He really would like the Jame Bond 50th Anniversary box set and I would love to get it for him, my big issue is the cost by the time I pay shipping, taxes and duty it comes out to $200, a bit more than I want to spend right now. The problem is it's a limited time thing, so what do you think I should do?

FRER is clearly darker today. I'm going to try not to test tomorrow (haha). I think I'll hold off and call my doctor Monday if things still look good then. Hopefully I can get BW done at the end of next week.

Virginia: great news that the lines are getting darker. :yahoo:

Amanda: Not knowing your DH, it's hard to say, but if you think it's something that would knock his socks off & it wouldn't be completely unfathomable to spend that kind of cash on a birthday gift, then it sounds great. We go a little crazy for birthdays because we don't buy each other Christmas gifts (we get a "family" or "us" gift if anything) and don't do Valentine's or Anniversary gifts at all. BTW, when is your DH's b-day?? My DH's is the 18th. It's his 30th so a BIG one and I got him a pool table that he has no clue about. Normally I don't spend THAT kind of money on birthdays, but couldn't help myself because he wants one so badly and it is an milestone birthday so it's just a matter of getting it now vs later.

Dane's rash STILL isn't gone, his skin overall is mostly clear other than very rough, but under his eyes still look horrible. Taking him to see his pedi tomorrow. Sometimes just making the appointment seems to clear it up (lol) so maybe we'll get lucky. But if nothing else, I'd like her opinion on what might be causing it and what i can do it give the poor guy some relief - he rubs his eyes all day so it must itch like crazy but being around his eyes, there isn't much I can do.

Virginia - it's definitely normal but try to stay positive and enjoy it even if it's nerve wracking! Fingers crossed!

Amanda - If you think he'd love it and it won't break the bank I think little surprises like that are really great

Ashley - I'm jealous of the baby belly and poor Dane :(

Mary - EEWW I have yet to have a kid do that I hope to remain that way LOL

AFM - I'm in Atlanta for work and the company rented the aquarium tonight for dinner. All I could think was how much Evan would LOVE it! We saw a dolphin show and walked the exhibits it is a great aquarium! I'm tired now and definitely read to get home. I want to see my babies. I have a second call (but first real interview) friday with the company. 30 minutes. Their interview process is rated one of the hardest in the industry so who knows but hey no harm in trying. So we'll see what Friday brings....
