Katie - Good luck on Friday. Can't wait to hear how it goes! Yeah, I'd be depressed to go to an awesome aquarium without the kids, hahaha. They go nuts over the pet fish for sale in the tanks at the store where we do most of our shopping, haha. And the lobsters at the grocery store.
Ashley - Good luck with the rash. I know what you mean about making the appointment being the cure to the problem. It's frustrating, but at the same time, you just want it to go away.
Amanda - If he'd love it, go for it!
Virginia - Woohoo for darker lines!!! Stick little bean, stick!
AFM - Day off today, thank goodness. I ended up working a double on Tuesday, so I had to stand for 14 hours. Plus the hour of driving each way made it a 16-hour day. WAY too long. I was sad because the kids were in bed when I left and they were asleep when I got home (11pm). Then I had to work early yesterday also, so I had to be up at 5:30am, so they were still in bed when I left. I hate not seeing them. By the time I got home last night, omg, I was SO exhausted and my ankles were swollen. I'm feeling like it's WAY too early to have swollen ankles. I'm hoping it was just a fluke from working the double shift, not having a ton of time to rest and recover before the next shift. I don't want to start with the swelling already, ughhh...

Mary - it sounds like the ankles are probably a result of overdoing it for a few days. Definitely relax now! Awww, I'd miss my boys too. Hopefully you don't have to do that again for awhile.
Amanda - I say go for it if it isn't a financial burden on you guys. If he'd be mad that you spent $200 then you may not want to...
Ash - poor Dane! I hope your pedi can get him some relief.
Virginia - congratulations! I'm just now seeing all this!! WOO!
Katie - wow the whole aquarium? That'd be awesome! GL with the first interview!
AFM - DH now has Xander hooked on The Thee Stooges. Oh my! I guess he was obsessed with it when he was a little kid, so he had to go and get my kid hooked. haha. Maybe not the best show for a 3 year old, but whatever.
I've whined before, but I just want to say how much I hate pumping. Ugh!
Benjamin is SO close to rolling over already (he's 6 weeks and change). I find that amazing considering how much he loathes being on the floor for more than a few minutes at a time, so he doesn't get all that much floor time/tummy time. Though he's starting to tolerate more and more... I just can't believe how fast he's maturing!
Katie: GL today with the interview!!
Lauren: wow, go Benjamin! Brekke took FOREVER to roll over, but Dane could flip back to belly pretty early because I think he figured it out with all of his stretching and arching his head back. It then took him quite a while to figure out the other way. So far my kids haven't been elite rollers
Mary: are you able to down water like crazy during those long shifts? I've read that a lot of nurses have problems with swelling from being on their feet so much and that helps. Sorry about the long days, those are seriously not fun. DH does that sometimes where the kids are asleep when he leaves and again when he gets home and it's hard on everyone.
Saw our regular pedi who agreed the rash is caused by a virus, but she made me feel a lot better about it saying she's seen several of these lately so it must be floating around at the moment. He is acting so much better the last 48 hours+ so at least he seems to be getting better on some level. He wasn't ever "sick" just "off". Okay my kids are fighting better go...
Hey All!
Mary - glad you've got some home time!
Lauren - no way I can't believe he can already time FLIES!
Ashley - Glad the pedi made you feel better poor kiddo!
AFM - had an interview today. It went well (I think...lol). They said they'd get back to me next week so we'll see. They mentioned they had heard good things about me from the trade which is always nice to hear (and a little nerve wracking that's how word gets back to your company but what can you do...?). So here's to hoping for good news about another interview next week I still have a few ahead....

just marking my place quickly. We got 2+ feet of snow over the weekend and have been busy.
I'm still pregnant. FRER had a darker test line than control line today, so I'll be calling the MW and figuring out our plan. I'm a little nervous still because I've had no food aversions of nausea and would usually have at least some of that by now. Maybe I'll get super lucky this time.

here's a FRER from today (17dpo)
I'm thrilled that the test line is darker than the control, but I'm still feeling pretty cautious about celebrating. I just called my MW and I'm going in for blood work later this week and will hopefully have an ultrasound the following week (or the one after) to see if things are going okay.

Virginia: great line!! Good luck with all that snow!
Katie: GL with the jobs!
Dane has learned to "count" 1-2-3 (he doesn't really count just has it memorized) so we have to do 1-2-3 for everything. It really walks the line of cute and annoying.I have what should be a boring OB appointment tomorrow morning and he'll probably give me the nasty GD test drink for next time. Ugh.
Virginia - Great line, HH9M to you. We got lots of snow too, thankfully we have a snow blower and DH cleared up the mess.
Ashley - So cute about Dane and "counting". Hope the OB appointment is good, yuck about the GD drink.
*AFM*
After a very busy weekend I am working today, would rather be at home sleeping.

I just unfriended a high school friend on Facebook, her stupidity was driving me batty, on a regular basis she posts fake amber alerts, fake celebrity deaths, the pictures that say "[insert random word/number] to see what happens next", she thought her family Christmas cards were nice when she looked half naked in some of them due to the dress she was wearing. You get the point, I don't have time for that crap.

Virginia - It's good to see the test line darker than the control. I hope this bean sticks!! Try not to worry too much on the lack of symptoms (easier said than done, I know).. It's still quite early.
Amanda - I have some people like that who I probably should unfriend, but their drama is too entertaining sometimes, lol. I am about to unfriend some random woman who cheats at words with friends, though, hahaha... Seriously. I think she uses one of those word generator things. What's the point in even playing?
Ash - I hope your OB appointment goes well. I was supposed to have mine today, but that didn't happen.
Katie - Good luck with all the interviews! I hate interviews so much. Funny, the only real job interview I've ever had was for this change of location in my current job that I had been doing for 5 years already, hahaha. I didn't even have a job interview when I got hired with the company. I applied online, met the boss who basically listed the benefits to me, and signed a contract. Hahah... Funny that I didn't interview until 5 years later when I wanted to move from one location to another.
AFM - I was supposed to have my OB appointment and GD test today, but that didn't happen, grrrr. My doc's office called me 45 minutes before my appointment time to tell me my doc had to run out of the office for an emergency C-section and rescheduled me for tomorrow. I guess considering the nature of the job, I should be surprised this is the first time in 3 pregnancies that this has happened. One other time, he personally called me and asked me to come in earlier in the day for my appointment (which was a good thing for me), because he expected to be delivering a baby later. Otherwise, my appointments are always on time, which is great.
In other news, the other pharmacist that I work with has to have surgery tomorrow. He's older and has been having problems suddenly with urinating blood. He went yesterday for some testing, and he didn't say what they found, but he called and told me he needs surgery on Wednesday, and needed me to cover some shifts for him. I really hope he's okay... I have a bit of a bad feeling about it all. Ugh. So today was supposed to be my day off, but I'm working the evening shift tonight. I could have just worked the morning shift, which is what he was scheduled for, but I thought I had my OB appointment, so we switched it all around. I wish I could have known in advance, as I would have rather just worked the morning shift and been done with it. Oooh well. I totally owe him because he has bailed me out in December when we all had the stomach virus, and again in January for Calvin's broken elbow/surgery. I'm a little sad because I had planned on taking Valentine's Day pics of the kids today. It can wait, but it will be post-VDay pics now. Not a huge deal.

Hi y'all! I got logged out and was super lazy... Haha! Anyhow...
Virginia - Congratulations!! I hope this is a sticky bean for you!!
Lauren - Yay, go Benjamin! That's awesome he's trying to roll over already!! He might be walking at 6 months at that rate!
Amanda - I have people I should unfriend, too, but they do serve as some entertainment.![]()
Mary - That sucks you have to cover a shift, but yeah, sounds like it's well-deserved for him! Boo to your OB moving your appointment, but yay, one more day without having to drink that nasty crap!I hope Calvin's arm is okay tomorrow at his appointment!
Katie - GL with the jobs! I'm sure you did awesome.
Ash - So cute that Dane is counting! Hope you had a boring appointment.
AFM - DH and I finally picked a date - we are putting the house on the market in about 3 weeks! Yikes. We soooo need out of here so bad! We're completely out of room. Our realtor sent us some listings in the area, and there is actually a house not too far from here that would be PERFECT! It's 4-bedroom with a finished basement and nice backyard! I want to look at it, but I don't!I don't want to get too attached to it and then we not sell fast enough! I hope we can unload this place fairly quickly. We're putting it on the market for about $7K less than we paid! Bah, so disappointing, but the market is just crap. At least that loss will translate into a cheaper price on the next house, since everyone is pretty much taking a loss in this market.
Oh, and Sam is CRUISING. Gah.![]()
