Jen: Good luck selling! And yikes, good luck with Sam...that's when thing get reeeeeally interesting

Mary: bummer about having to work but that's nice you're helping him out. Sorry about the doc appointment but at least they called you. I've had my doc out twice delivering and one time they just had the nurse pract. see me and the other time they came in after I'd be waiting like 15 minutes to say he was in delivery and would probably be another 20 minutes so it was up to me if I wanted to reschedule. At that point, I was like "Well, I'm already here so I guess I'll wait".

Amanda: I generally just exclude those people from my posts and/or block their posts so I don't have to look at them. It's pretty rare I "unfriend" someone because seriously people get so butt-hurt over it.

Had a successfully boring appointment. Measuring ahead 2 weeks, but going off my O day that is almost 3 weeks Hopefully it'll even out in the next appointment or at least close to because I don't need to be stressing about having a 10 pound baby. Otherwise, all was good - doc couldn't find baby's HB for a few minutes because he was way up at the top of my uterus kind of laying like this (/) across my belly (if baby is the line..does that make sense?) Hope he doesn't get too comfy in a breech position! GD test next time.

So the pool table I ordered for DH's bday is supposed to be getting set up right now, but they are running way behind so now I'm stressing DH is going to get home before they're done (how lame would that be??). So now I have my mom in on it so hopefully I can get DH to meet me at dinner on his way home from work since we aren't going out on actual Valentine's Day and my mom will stay here with the kids (and the install guys!) and let me know when they're done. Crossing my fingers it works out and DH doesn't decide to run home first or something!

Virginia - that is a BEAUTIFUL line!

Mary - I hope your coworker is ok And boo to extra work though, even if you owe him it's never fun

Jen - if I did relocate we'd need to sell this house and I can't even imagine how we'd manage it and buy another home and move omg I have a panic attack thinking about it. It would be much easier if we could temporarily rent but with the dogs that's not really realistic. I will reserve my panic attack for an actual job offer! GL!

Ashley - hope you got to surprise dh!

Amanda - I hide people relatively often sometimes I defriend

AFM - my one interview got moved until tomorrow so we'll see how it goes. The gal I'm supposed to interview with is a Harvard and Penn grad and this is the total random job that I don't really think I'm all that qualified for so hey roll with it! I should be reviewing things and preparing now but I'm not feeling like it...

Katie: GL with the interview. Sounds intense!

DH totally blew the surprise but oh well! He started heading home before calling me back and I couldn't get my mom here so I could leave before he got home. The ONE night he decides to come home before 6:30. Anyway, it looks great nonetheless - I'll try to get a pic up tomorrow. I'm way happy with how it turned out. Anyway, making Valentine's cookies tomorrow with my kids and am pretty dang excited (okay I'm just excited to eat frosting...oops).

I was on Facebook Monday night and one of the girls I was friends with in high school posted that she was having relationship issues with her DH and that she was 8 months pregnant. I PMed her I hope I was of use, which is kinda hard when you've never been in her situation. Her DH told her that he wants to stay for the family, he wants to share a bed but he doesn't want a relationship. WTF? I just let her know that they should both wait until baby is born get through the postpartum and then assess the situation. I think he may be stressed about the whole situation with bringing the 3rd child into the family, since they already have two young kids aged 5 and 2.

Mary - Boo about not getting the GD test done and over with.

Jen - Glad you set a date to put the house on the market, so glad our market in Canada hasn't gotten that bad.

Ashley - Great to hear your appointment was boring.
Sorry the pool table thing didn't work out as you had planned.

Katie - Sorry the interview got moved, hope it goes well.

    *AFM*

I have a few people hidden (mainly family I don't want to unfriend) but I figure if they aren't related and I am not going to talk to them no use in having them on there.

I sent Natalie's Valentines and some heart shaped cookies to school with Natalie today since she doesn't go to school on Thursdays. They are having a little party to celebrate both day.

I'm done with winter and the cold weather. Anyone have an all expenses paid trip to some place warm for me?

Haven't been sleeping well the past couple of nights even my advil/muscle relaxant combo did nothing last night it normally works wonders.

At work today being a Zombie when I shouldn't.

hi all. I skimmed the posts. I'm just posting quickly before trying to nap while the big kids watch a little TV and Oliver naps. whew.

symptoms are great, actually. Or terrible. The fatigue is kicking my rear. I'm dizzy and lightheaded (got to love low blood pressure plus low blood sugar). I'm hungry and thirsty all the time. No nausea yet still, but I can wait for that. I'd be thrilled to never have it.
Test this morning looks amazing (way better than 19dpo with the BO this summer). I went for my beta this morning and should get the result in a few hours. And we have kindergarten orientation tonight. craziness.

Virginia - So happy to hear some good news from you finally! You're long overdue. I hope this one sticks.

Don't have a ton of time to post, gotta head to work. But we had Calvin's appointment this morning. He started having more pain the last couple days and we were getting nervous that something wasn't healing right or something. They did xrays today and said it looks like it's healing okay, so he probably just overdid it playing or something. So we go back next Friday for MORE xrays (my poor kid is being exposed to a lot of radiation these days). They talked as though he could probably get the pins out next week and move on to a hard cast or maybe even a removable brace. We shall see.

After that, we had my OB appointment. I did my glucose test. It always makes me feel dizzy and crappy. The doctor surprised me by ordering an ultrasound to check baby's growth at my appointment in 2 weeks. We're on the every-2-week schedule now... WOW. Time flies. I can't wait to see the little one some more. I hope they give me some pics to bring home. He said the ultrasound to check growth is to make sure there's no growth restriction which is sometimes the case with high blood pressure issues. He doesn't think so, though, because my belly is measuring fine.

I'm exhausted with all the appointments and working too much lately with my partner out on sick leave. It turns out he has a tumor in his bladder. They're doing surgery to remove it today. I hope it's benign or something, but who knows... Scary. I really wish there were more people to cover the sick leave so I wouldn't have to do it all and be overly exhausted. I need a nap.

Mary, Ashley, and anyone else handling 2+ little ones... BabySteals has a great bag today! I got one on a whim about a year ago and it's amazing. I don't know how I got around without it. It's a diaper bag with a built-in hip carrier. It was really good when Oliver was mobile but not ready to walk places with me, when I founds myself out without a stroller, wanted to make a really quick stop shopping, etc. It's not all all-day carrier, but it works wonders for errands. I almost wish I needed a baby gift for someone so I could order one! I have the gray sidekick. It's too bad Oliver is really too heavy for it now.

    still waiting on the beta.

Virginia - Congrats! Sounds like a sticky bean! I'm glad you're feeling terrible! Haha. And wow, kindergarten orientation - crazy! GL with that!

Mary - I'm glad Calvin's arm is doing well! I'm sure he just overdid it... he IS two (well, almost ) - guess we can't expect much less from a toddler! I saw my dentist yesterday (I was good friends with his daughter in HS and her two boys are the same age as mine), and he told me his grandson said to him on the phone, "Papa, watch me jump on the bed with my cast!" Hahaha. He broke his leg a few weeks ago, but it doesn't slow them down one bit, right?! Glad your appointment went well, too! Woohoo for 2 week appointments already! Wow, time does fly when it's not your pregnancy. I hope your coworker is back soon!

Ash - Aw, bummer DH ruined his own surprise! Men. Was he at least pleasantly surprised when he saw it? How did your V-Day cookies turn out?! I think we're going to make cupcakes tomorrow. Although, Owen has eaten at least 4 fastnachts since I bought a dozen yesterday for Fat Tuesday... I don't think that kid needs anymore sugar!

Amanda - Crazy about your friend! That was really nice of you to reach out. I totally feel you on the weather thing! I am so over winter! I feel like I haven't seen the sun in months! It literally has barely shined for the last few months, it's depressing. I hope you get some sleep tonight!

Katie - I'd have panic attacks thinking about moving all those dogs (and children ) if I were you, too! How did the interview go today?

AFM - Just putting the finishing touches on Owen's party! Holy crap, I can't believe in a week from tomorrow, I will have a 3 year old! It seems impossible, really. Wasn't I just in the hospital having him?! Anyhow, he is superduper into Batman and Spiderman right now, so we're doing a retro superhero theme. He picked out his birthday shirt from a shop I found on Etsy (a red tee with the Batman logo on it and a 3 in the middle), so hopefully it will be here on time! All I need to do is figure out the food! The party is at 3pm, so I think I'll just do easy finger foods. I'm trying to think up foods to incorporate into the theme... So far all I have is an aqua (the colors are red, aqua, and white) "punch!" (haha, you know, the old pow, bam, etc. from Batman). I have to think of some other things... Any ideas?
