we've had crazy blowout issues with all the kids. Raymond (as a 2 month old) managed one which went all the way up his back and down inside the sleeve of his shirt. It was crazy.
Raymond and DH want twins, too (I haven't told the kids, but I think Raymond suspects something). I'd rather not have twins, honestly. I'm getting the first waves of m/s and it's always been bad enough with singletons. I don't think I could handle anything worse. And, given that every syptom has hit on its normal schedule, I'm pretty darn sure it's one.

Katie - Yeah, a XC move would be insane! I don't know how my parents did it twice with two small kids! But we were military, so you kind of have a lot of help in that regard!

Mary - Yay for feeling baby lots! I had an anterior placenta with Sam, too. I could feel him, but not nearly as much as Owen! It will be interesting to see if #3 is anterior or posterior. It makes worrying a lot less with a posterior, for sure! I think Sam was head-down by 30-32 weeks, so you have plenty of time if he does decide to flip. Hopefully he will stay put! That sucks about your coworker, so scary! GL with Cal's arm today!

Ashley - I doubt baby will be huge! Maybe he just floated way up top? Your other two weren't huge, right? I think you have tinies, don't you? Haha.

Amanda - Sorry to hear about your grandma! How is she doing? Sucks that Dana needs glasses, but it'll be cool soon enough.

Virginia - GL at the u/s today!

AFM - Owen's birthday was great yesterday! I think he had a lot of fun! We took him to Monkey Joe's just to play with some friends and he had a blast! The guy seriously bounced and ran around for 3 straight hours! He did take a 30 second pizza break, haha. But other than that, he was wild! He crashed at bedtime! Sam was up early today, though! I think he was overtired from not getting an afternoon nap yesterday, so boo to that. Hopefully he'll catch up today! Oh, and the guy popped his two bottom teeth this week! I never would have known they were there had I not caught sight of them one time when he was laughing earlier this week. They were just under the surface then, so they pushed through a day or two later! Crazy guy getting two within a few days of each other! At least it didn't seem to bother him at all!

Amanda- sorry about the glasses expense near sighted here too! I just go New glasses this year I can't get comfortable in contacts

AFM like I mentioned nothing from the job...annoying! Took yesterday and today off and have had a fun boys day today. I'm sitting in Rory's room now while he naps....he sleeps better if I am here and I was only reading anyway so why not, it is nice sometimes to watch him sleep any good weekend plans anyone?

Virginia - Yay for the awesome betas and the deal on the blow-out blocker.

What if it was twin girls?

Ashley - Sometimes little babies can be so active making your insides feel like a punching bag. Natalie kicked alot but she was only 5lbs 5oz (mind you she wasn't short for the weight).

Jen - Glad the party was fun and Owen enjoyed it.

Nat's teeth always came in pairs, though hers were always rough, glad that it was easy for Sam.

Katie - Sorry you haven't heard from the job, even rejections are better than nothing, at least then you are not left hanging.

    *AFM*

My gradma has an immune system cancer (has for years) so she gets sick pretty easily. It was just an infection she needed antibiotics for.

A tiny bit of TMI, my sleep and dystonia was horrible for a few days last week was wondering what was up, then yesterday I got AF, seems that week before my period causes me all sorts of problems, FUN, well at least I know why I was uncomfortable. At least now that AF is here I'm feeling better and in not as much pain.

Went to Dana's High School Open House last night, it was good and informational. OMG the school is HUGE! I also can't believe in just over 6 months she'll be in high school.

Really only have Dana's hockey and getting glasses picked out for her in the plans for the weekend.

Amanda - sorry to hear your grandma is sick, but at least it's nothing major. I remember needing glasses as a kid (I was 9). Man I HATED that! I wanted contacts SO bad and my mom wouldn't let me. I couldn't get them til I could get a job and pay for them myself, so I basically went blind until then because I rarely wore them... I now have nothing against them and wish I had a nicer pair so I could wear them sometimes, but as a kid I just wasn't into them. So Dana went with glasses? Did you give her a choice or was it glasses or nothing? Definitely show pictures! I'm sure she looks super cute in them!

Jen - so glad the party went well! Xander would've loved a place like that, too! I hope naps get back in order again.

Mary - yay for lots of movement!! Sorry about your co-worker. I feel like everyone has cancer right now, I have a few sets of close friends parents who are going through that. It's crazy, as a kid I don't remember anyone having cancer, but these days it seems like so many people have it.

Virginia - I'll need to go search for that u/s post... I saw that blowout protector - I'm sure if you had a kid with crazy blowouts that you'd be stoked for something like that. It's never been a problem for me, at least not to that extreme (knock on wood), but my kids are pretty small and don't tend to eat enough to poop that much. heh.

Ash - it always feels like baby will be HUGE at that point. haha. I'm sure he just was in the right position at the right time...

AFM - just finished pumping and am sitting here with the bottles still attached to me while I type. DH thinks it's pretty funny. haha. But otherwise by the time I catch up on this thread it's time for me to be done and I don't post!

Kids are doing well. We got a bit of snow, so I sent Xander into the backyard to play while I watched from the kitchen with Benjamin. He had a lot of fun, esp while our dogs were out with him (he kept dumping snow on them), but then I think he got lonely. That makes me sad, I wanted to go play with him so bad! Luckily tomorrow is Saturday and our snow shouldn't melt til Sun or Mon, so me or DH will be able to play with him tomorrow. I feel so bad for Xander sometimes while we have a baby, it almost makes it hard to enjoy Benjamin as a baby because there's always the guilt. *sigh*

Virginia - So glad it went well!!! I'll be anxious to see if the black blob turns into another baby, hahah. Either way, woohoo for a heartbeat!!

Lauren - I feel ya on having your attention pulled different directions with more than 1 child. Earlier, Calvin was wanting to give me butterfly kisses and he was being so cute and giggly about it. But then Sean wanted me to look at a book with him. I had one on each side and kept trying to spread my attention evenly, but I hate feeling like I can't give either one my full attention. And soon it will be split 3 ways. I hope they don't feel slighted, because it's important to have that sibling connection, too. As an only child, I missed out on that. I loved it when I was younger, but I wish I had it now as an adult.

Amanda - I can't believe Dana is almost in high school... Crazy!!!

Jen - Owen's birthday sounded like fun!! Can't believe he's 3 now. How do these LO's grow so fast?? It boggles my mind that Calvin will be 2 years old here in 6 days.

Katie - Booo for no word on the job. Maybe next week. No exciting weekend plans for me. I have to work all weekend. Blah.

AFM - Calvin got his pins out of his arm today. I hate that I had to miss it for work. It sounded interesting. DH said he had two pins in his arm. They were metal and they stuck out of the skin about 1/4" and then the metal turned out in an L shape for them to have something to get ahold of to take them out. He had developed a granuloma at the injection site, which they had to cauterize with silver nitrate. DH said it was nasty looking. He said it was all dirty underneath the temporary cast thing, with lint and fuzz mostly, hahaha. He said Calvin seemed a bit uncomfortable and cried a bit when they took off the temporary cast for the first time. They went for X-rays which he has not been a fan of through the whole process, so he cried through that too. By the time they were done with that and he calmed down, he was tired and acted like he wanted to sleep (it was nap time). So DH said he was actually pretty calm while they put his hard cast on. It's cute. It's this little bright orange hard cast. I MUCH prefer the hard cast over that thing he did have on. For one thing, he doesn't have to wear the sling thing around his neck to hold his arm in place, so he's a lot happier and more comfortable without that. And being hard and stiff, it's less worrisome for us that he's going to tear it off or re-break his arm or something. DH just told him, "Calvin, you look a lot happier today." And he IS. I think he really likes the new cast better and the fact that he has less limitations to his movement by not having that sling thing around his neck again.

Mary - Glad Cal got his pins out of his arm! Poor buddy. How long does he have the hard cast on for?

Lauren - I remember feeling like that when Sam was itty bitty. It gets much better! It's so hard in the beginning when the baby is super needy. I remember a lady on my BB who was having #5 said that in order to make the older kids feel "better", if the baby was fussing or something while she was helping one of the older kids, she'd say, "You have to wait a moment while mommy helps (insert name)" to the baby. Apparently it makes the older kids feel like they get put first sometimes, too? I always thought about that, though, when I felt like I was constantly telling Owen to wait while I did something for Sam! But I totally understand. I feel like I missed out on the entire summer with Owen after being hugely pregnant, then having a newborn that needed constant attention. It eases up, for sure! Hang in there!

Amanda - Wow, you're going to have a high schooler?! Craziness! Hope your DH has a nice display case for his weapon of choice right at the front door for all those young suitors coming to call on Dana soon. JK.

Katie - Ugh that sucks when you don't get a call on way or another! So annoying! I hope they let you know soon! Way to make you hang over the weekend, right?

AFM - No big plans here this weekend! Tomorrow morning I am doing pics of my friend's 6 month old (DH is still grumbling about it... I do a lot of their girls' pictures for free - and have since #1 was born two years ago - and he is always telling me I'm not their personal photographer and to grow a pair and tell them haha). Then Sunday we're going to do Owen's 3 year pics! I scouted out this cool place I've been wanting to try, so I figured taking him for his pics would be a good time to check it out! It's part of the Appalachian Trail that runs through here, so hopefully it's a sweet spot! I guess we'll see!

Oh, his party wasn't at Monkey Joe's yesterday! We just took him for his birthday and met up with some friends who played hooky from work. His party is actually next weekend! Just to clarify and all.

Oh no, don't get me started! I've been wondering a tiny bit, too. She barely even looked at the second thing and was immediately sure it's wasn't a twin. It must have been obvious for some reason. I'm bummed I don't have a picture, but here are two (one twins, one SCH) which both look a lot like mine did. neither is actually mine.

honestly, it looked more like the first picture, but the 2nd one was a tiny bit smaller then the one with the blob in it. It measured around 10mm and the one with the baby was 13mm.

you can obsess over that as much as you want, Mary. I'm going to try not to think about it.

Amanda - I hope you're feeling better, your dystonia sounds so hard and you so rarely talk about how difficult it is

Mary - glad Cal is happier! Happy kids make life SO much easier!

Lauren - I think it's definitely easier when both are mobile. I mean it's harder too but mine really do entertain each other now and that's fun and it's easier to incorporate them both at this phase

    Jen - Sounds like a great birthday I can't believe he's 3!

Virginia - Well 1 or 2 it is great news I'm SO excited for you! Looking forward to belly pics

AFM - GREAT day home with the boys and a nice Saturday. I did nothing but that's OK with me I'm feeling just a bit of baby fever lately. I need to hear if this job wants a 3rd interview but if they don't I'm going to have serious baby fever...I can FEEL it
