2 month visit and Rory is now almost spot on with Evan at 2 months. 14lbs 6oz Evan was 14-4, 24.5" and Evan was 24 1/4". I didn't check but I think those stats are in the 90th percentile if I recall correctly. The doc joked he could be his own football team someday but I bet like Evan he'll eventually level out some.

DH was hit with a stomach bug last night. It was wicked all night long. I had an off day last week so I'm HOPING I just had it MUCH milder but only time will tell. And we'll see if the boys get it....ugh. So no personals b/c I have to go up and work on disinfecting everything, blech!

Mary, good luck containing the baby fever now that you're off bcp! Sounds like you're getting hit with it from all directions right now!

Katie, sorry your DH is sick. Hopefully the rest of you are spared.

Virginia, so when is the last time you had a full night of sleep and didn't have to wake up even once? Like five years? lol. But they're worth it.

So, I either already O'd or am about to O. Sometimes I have a really intense O pain and know it happened, but sometimes I don't... I'm really crampy, though, so I know it either happened recently or is about to. We got in lots of BD'ing and I had EWCM yesterday. Not sure about today, I haven't checked. It was playgroup this morning and we've been so busy! So busy that I didn't even remember to check when I peed. hahaha. It's funny how different TTC this time is because I am so busy with Xander. No time to obsess over every little twinge and CM and all that. I just cannot believe that I could be pregnant at any moment now. EEK! Any bets on when I'll have my first phantom pregnancy symptom and what it'll be? haha. I'll have to start my own thread in a week!

Lauren - Yay for O-ing!! Best of luck to you. TTC is definitely different the second time around. Sean was still a needy not-quite-1-yr-old when we were TTC, and so our BD around O time was not the most spontaneous, LOL... Oh well, we still managed to get Calvin out of the deal. Next time, we're both thinking of taking the JLIH approach (but it's pretty hard when you think of how obvious the EWCM is).

Virginia - Oliver sounds like both of mine when it comes to eating. Sean was never content with finger foods and water. Haha. Calvin has only recently been able to eat finger foods, but he still wants his milk afterwards. I can't believe how many teeth Oliver has already... Cal has been SO slow with teething. He just cut his 6th tooth a day or two ago. He has the front two teeth on the bottom and the front four teeth on top.

Katie - Sorry the stomach bug has hit your house. I really hope your boys don't get it. It was rough on all of us. It's funny though, Cal took it like a champ compared to everyone else. He made us all look like wimps, haha. I swear this stomach bug is like a giant pandemic this year... People on my facebook from all corners of the country have had it. Crazy...

AFM - I got to meet my friend's new baby... SO tiny, I can't believe Cal was that size just 11 short months ago. He was huge by comparison. It gave me a mild, temporary case of baby fever, but nothing irresistible yet.

In other news, I've been asked to do senior portraits for someone who is going to be a senior next year. I have no real intentions of making photography a business, but I'm flattered that someone actually offered to pay me for it. So anyway, I said yes, but I'm not really charging her much for it... Mostly the cost of driving an hour each way and then the cost of prints. It's not until September that we're doing it, so I've got time to get some ideas and whatnot, but I'm excited!

Talked to Dana about her not eating and worked up a schedule for her lunch this week, she has a variety of healthy foods, Monday and Tuesday went well hoping the rest of the week is good.

My parents hosted a winter birthday celebration on Saturday it was Once Upon a Time (fairy tale) themed, my family combines birthday celebrations to make things easier. Everyone had a great time. Natalie got spoiled and loved all her gifts, clothing included.

Working today, nothing exciting going on here.

    Lauren - GL!

AFM: this bug (or whatever) is crazy. Jan 20th Raymond threw up once then was fine. DH was sick the 27th-28th. Tonight Alex threw up once and has been fine since. I hope it's the same bug... but it makes no sense. I really don't want a new one. At least if it is new it seems mild. Ugh. So far it's been one person every 9-10 days. I'm worried about the 17/18th! And about tonight. I feel a bit off, but hopefully it's just my crazy imagination. As it is I've had a cold for 10+ days (lingering because I don't sleep) and fought off mastitis a couple days ago (red, sore, swollen spot but cleared it just as the fever was starting). I need a break, not a bug!

Virginia - That sounds like us!! A about a week before DH was sick I had an off day. I didn't throw up but my stomach was really upset etc. Then a week later DH was sickc all night - throwing up etc. I don't know if we had the same thing but so far I haven't had what he had. We'll see on the boys.....I'm hoping they can avoid it! GL getting healthy! No sleep is the pits!

Mary - that's awesome on the pictures! Fun!

Amanda - hope work went quickly.

    Lauren - GL with TTC!

AFM - sleep has improved a lot lately. I've been getting Rory down by 9 and he's been going until 1 or 2 pretty routinely. A couple nights I've gone to bed right when he did which was great. at 1/2 I've been just sticking him in bed with us....I will tackle getting him to go back to sleep in his crib later LOL Monday he does a day at daycare. I'm nervous but the time had to come. There are only 3 kids total in the baby room and the other 2 are older so hopefully it all goes well. 12 weeks has gone so fast!

I really don't know how you ladies in the US do it, being sleep deprived from a little baby and working. I love that we get 1 full year off here for maternity or paternity leave, and the government gives a percentage of your wages too. I needed an extra 6 months so I went unpaid for that (and took 18 months), then I only went back part time, but that's the advantage of working for family, I get flexibility.

Natalie kept me on my toes yesterday, today I am at work nothing exciting going on.

Amanda - Glad Natalie liked all of her presents. We combine parties in my family sometimes too.

Virginia - Sorry about all the sickness. I hope everyone is on the mend. It was so rough when it went through our house.. I think it hit a new person every 2-3 days and it was around 10 days from the time I first got sick until the last person (Sean) got well. Blech!

Katie - I'm glad sleep is improving for you. I felt like I was up every hour last night (pretty sure I was), but it wasn't even the kids' fault. I had too much to drink and kept having to pee, haha... That's only fun if you're pregnant.

AFM - Sean seems to be getting interested in the potty again. I've managed to get him to pee in it a few times over the last 2-3 days. In a couple weeks, I'm going to be on vacation for 12 days. I'm hoping to spend a significant portion of that at home, letting him run around pants-free, so maybe it'll stick soon. Oh, and I have baby fever. HAH. I'm sure it'll pass.

Lauren - how are you feeling? When do you plan to test?

Katie - I'm glad Rory is sleeping better. Good luck with daycare.

Amanda - that maternity leave sounds nice. I wish the US had something comparable. I'm so glad I can stay home.

Mary - Good luck with the potty. Sounds like the vacation you have coming is the perfect time to PT. And, from my experience, it's actually better letting them run around in underwear than pants-free. Sounds weird, but that way when they pee they feel wet and uncomfortable. It makes a little less of a mess (puddles instead of spraying) and that way you don't miss that they've peed! Are you at all able to sew? I have a cheap/easy way to turn underwear into cloth training pants. It helps decrease the puddling during accidents a little. If you want it, I'll make a new post with some pictures and directions.

AFM: Oliver's 8th tooth came through and he's sleeping so well! As soon as it popped through he went from on tylenol/ibuprofen constantly and waking 4-5 times a night to waking once a night. Whew. He's definitely been my toughest teether. I am not looking forward to his molars!
I'm definitely having some baby fever, too. A former coworker just had a baby girl Friday. It was tough knowing it was coming. Now that I got the announcement it's a little easier... or maybe that's just because it's cold today. Seems like the spring-like days really set off the baby fever. But, DH is still on board with our baby roulette... not that my body is doing anything yet. Oliver's still nursing constantly. But, we have a mini vacation coming up in 2 weeks (my parents are taking the boys for 2 nights) and I'll be pumping. My body does not respond to pumping the way it does to BFing, so I kind of wonder what that will do. Once my body gets back in gear I wonder whether having a slight chance each month will make the baby fever better or worse. Hmm.

Amanda - Even totally unpaid I'd love a year's leave but I'm not holding my breath. I'm sure big business would scream and cry and the crazies would call it socialism....I'm tired of politics already and the republican primaries aren't even over.....

Mary - GL ! Let me know how it goes. I've been thinking about trying to get going with it but I just don't have the patience right now so I figure I should wait. I was actually thinking maybe when it's a little warmer. I did buy some Mickey Mouse undies for him that are so darn cute!

Virginia - GL with the baby fever! I was thinking the other night we should probably think about back up BC when I return to work. I'll be pumping 3 days a week and my body does respond to the pump but it still isn't the same as nursing on demand. Glad his tooth is in and he's feeling better!

Tomorrow Rory goes to daycare! I'm going to swing in to the office. Talk to my boss, get a feel for everything, try to get all the chatting etc out of the way. Then I'm going to go to the mall. The boys need some clothing and while I do fit in a bunch of work stuff again I could use a pair of black pants a size bigger. I don't REALLY want to buy them a size bigger but my 2 good pairs are just a little too tight and I don't want to squeeze in. I also want to get some make up. Lame, lazy woman confession - I haven't bought any make up since my first date with DH in 2004.
