Thread: first u/s didn't go well XP

I had my first u/s this afternoon and there's just a sac. It measures right on for 7w, but it was obvious to me it was empty even before I was told. So, now we're waiting. I have a repeat u/s on the 14th, if nothing happens by then. But, I know it's just a matter of time. I'm surprisingly okay with it. We'll get past this (unless something miraculous happens and a baby appears in the next 12 days) and then we'll try again at some point.
ETA: now if only the m/s would disappear... I'm really looking forward to that!

seriously, I'm fine. I know we make babies easily and this probably just delays things a few months.
I'm getting really frustrated with the m/s, though. I could (barely) tolerate it when I thought I had a viable one in there, but now... I honestly wish I could just have a d&c today and get it over with. Unfortunately, we leave for vacation for a week tomorrow so I'm stuck with this for a while longer, most likely.
Oh, and DH is pretty sure he wants to try again right away.

I know you are fine but so sorry to hear you've had to go through the symptoms for there to be no baby, hope things work themselves out quick.

I know you said you were okay, but anyway! It still sucks! No one wants to go through that. I hope you have a speedy recovery, and I'm sure you'll be knocked up again very soon.
