GL Virginia. I wonder if your midwife would do much....I know at least for me the CP wasn't even counted among my mc's. He checked my thyroid but basically said 20+ % of pregnancies go that way and it's normal. Frustrating....I hope you get a nice blazing BFP this cycle!
Rory's temp has stayed down. Briefly went up to 100.5 but I think I just need to step away from the thermometer LOL Hopefully whatever the virus is has passed.
Ashley - YAY for gender scan can't wait to hear if you 2 boys 1 girl or 2 girls 1 boy! :)
Amanda - Sounds like you have lots of school stuff with the girls going on....I'm sure we'll be there eventually!
Lauren - So glad Benjamin is doing well and pooping on his own! Sam definitely pooped way less than Owen, haha. Each baby is so different! And I'm glad you're feeling better! I know after I had Sam they were concerned about my hemoglobin being so low, but it was coming back up, so I was good to go (they were talking transfusion if my numbers stayed so low) with just an OTC iron pill. It can take a LONG time to get yourself back in order after that crap, so take care!
Katie - I'm glad Rory's fever has stayed down! I don't even give meds until they're up over 101, so I'd say 100.5 is pretty good! Owen is a bunny addict, too! He would eat them day and night if we let him!
Mary - Yay for a boring appointment! Those are always good. Here's to flying under the radar until your EDD! ;)
Ash - So exciting your gender u/s is this week! I can't wait to hear what you're having!!
Amanda - That's so funny about Apollo on the treadmill! I heard about the schools striking up there! That stinks. I hope they can sort it out ASAP. Glad the girls are doing well! Sounds like they keep you busy. ;)
Virginia - So sorry about the CP. That sticky bean is coming soon! Unfortunately, it sounds like you've just had a string of bad luck. Hoping for an awesome BFP and sticky baby this cycle!
AFM - I think the sickness is finally gone from our house! DH came home early from work on Friday because he puked during a meeting, haha. Well, it's not funny, but it sort of is. ;) He took a 3 hour nap and then seemed okay, thankfully. I was freaking out he'd dragged yet ANOTHER germ into our house, and I was about to lose it! Sam still has awful diaper rash and a cough/runny nose, but seems to be doing okay, otherwise. He's been really weird about his bottles lately (drinking about ~2 oz. less per feed than before he was sick), so I'm hoping it's either milestone-related (he started crawling yesterday!), or him still coming off his cold. I don't know why, but it stresses me out! :p
Jen - I couldn't help but laugh at you laughing at your DH's puking, hahaha.. I hope it's nothing contagious.
Virginia - I hope you get a sticky bean soon. It has to be frustrating to have a difficult time after 3 quick successes. The struggle will be worth it eventually, and you'll have a stronger appreciation for your LO's because of it. Big hugs coming your way.
Katie - Glad the fever has stayed down. You sound like me.. I'm a freak with the thermometer ever since Sean had his febrile seizure. My DH tells me to "just step away" sometimes, LOL.
Amanda - I hope Natalie's school gets itself straightened out. Seems like they're always having one issue or another. Too funny about having the dog on the treadmill, hahaha.
AFM - I was recently introduced to a group on facebook for moms of peanut-allergic kids. It's a great resource. Lots of them also have other allergies as well, like Sean with his egg. I'm still so excited to have milk back. We've given him a small amount each day, even if it's just cooked into something. He seems to be doing well so far, so I'm optimistic. I really hope we follow with the egg eventually! :)
Virginia: seems like a good plan. Sorry your body isn't cooperating with you this round, it must be so incredibly frustrating :(
Amanda: sounds like you have some great girls!! :) Sorry their teachers/schools aren't up to par though... Our schools are ranked really low nationally here due to class size and how poorly our teachers are paid but what do you do?
Mary: that's great you found a group of moms of kids with allergies to connect with! I can't imagine dealing with severe food allergies. So happy he was cleared of dairy, I bet that opens up so many things!!
Jen: I totally laughed at your DH puking at work. But how embarrassing! Glad the sickness seems to be gone. Having everyone sick is the worst ever. I think we're finally all over it too. Sorry about Sam's diaper rash and lack of appetite. Dane got rashes with most of his teeth  Not sure how it's related but it seems to be for him.
Katie: Aren't you the one who bought a Highlander a while back? If so, how are you liking it? We're just starting to look at cars a bit and that is one of the few we're considering. DH really likes the idea of getting a Toyota but I'm concerned about the size since it's the narrowest and shortest 3rd row crossover from what I've read.
Longest. Week. Ever. Just thought I'd let you know ;) Although I'm slightly worried that my OB is going to give me some grief about my weight gain at my appt - it's spot on with my last pregnancies at this time (like within half a pound) but I started this one the lightest so it shouldn't be quite so high. My body just loves putting on the pounds for some reason despite working out 5 times a week and eating pretty much the same as I normally do. Oooooh well!
Ashley - If my doctor hasn't preached at me about my weight gain ever, I'm sure you're fine! I always gain a lot, and this time is the MOST. I'm already almost 140, and I started out less than 115 (around 113). So I've gained AT LEAST 25 lbs, and I'm not even 25 weeks yet. So yeah, more than a pound a week all along. CRAZY. I'm always convinced my doc is going to get on me, but he never has in any of my pregnancies.
AFM - Working the next 3 days, then visiting my parents on Saturday. They bought DH a hand gun for Christmas (ugh...) and he wants to go to a shooting range with my dad to shoot. I'm not enthusiastic about having it in the house, but at the same time, I feel like our neighborhood has gone all ghetto since we moved here.. So I feel a little better knowing we have it to protect ourselves. I had to decide which was the lesser of two evils, and DH said he'd feel better if he had something, so after months of being wishy-washy, I finally gave in. I made DH buy a safe with a fingerprint reader to keep it in so the kids can't get to it. It still freaks me out, though. He keeps it unloaded and in the safe, but still...
So while he does that with my dad, the kiddos and I will stay with my mom and visit.
ETA: It's a sad day, people. I have officially unsubscribed from emails from the site where I used to buy my cheapo HPT's. I don't want to receive their emails after we're done having babies and get all depressed about it, hahah... sad.
Well, after a lighter than normal 3 day AF it looks like I might be trying to find answers sooner. I'm used to a pretty heavy 5-6 day AF. I can't imagine this is good.
Sorry to hear that, Virginia - I hope you get some answers soon. I hope the D&C didn't cause any damage. So stressful. :bigarmhug:
AFM - Nothing exciting today (so far). I work later, not really enthusiastic about that. I'm feeling some little movements from baby right now, which is good. He wasn't too active yesterday and that had me a little paranoid. Almost to that viability milestone, woohoo!
The good news is there's a doctor near me who is considered one of the best surgeons in the country at dealing with post-d&c scarring. I've been discussing it with DH and we're leaning towards calling and trying to schedule an appointment to discuss testing. I figure the wait might be a few months so the sooner the better. If I get (successfully) pregnant in the meantime well, that's great.
Sounds like a good plan. It's great that you have someone like that so close to home for you. :)
AFM - I'm just sitting around resting until time to go to work. I'll probably jinx it, but the boys are playing well together for the moment. They're usually fighting with each other and whatnot, so this is nice. I have some new shoes coming via UPS today.. I'd love it if they make it before I leave for work, but I doubt it. They're exactly like another pair I have, just in a different color. Hahah.. If you find something that works, why mess with it? They're really comfortable for standing all day, and they're actually pretty cute. Aaaaand... The boys are fighting again. LOL. I knew it wouldn't last long.
Virginia: It never hurts to try for an appointment and get checked out. But crossing my fingers you don't need it!!
Mary: its so nice we the kids play together even though its always short lived :)
We're having a BOY!!! I thought when she said she was going for the gender shot that I saw three lines then a penis popped up. Lol. But his cord was all over the place so I won't lie that I'm a teeeeny but nervous it could've been wrong but she found a between the legs shot twice so I'm probably pretty safe. He wasn't overly social though and constantly moved away from us. Pics on my BB post here http://www.pregnancy.org/bulletinboa...4/#post9043430
