Just a quick note -- total BFN this morning - read NOT PREGNANT. I'm not at all disappointed the timing would have been awful with the wedding and some work travel I have this month and next. Just generally the wrong time to be accidentally pregnant. But I am wondering where the heck AF is?!! ARGH!

Katie - Weird cycle! Hopefully the witch shows soon.

Ashley - I'm SO ready for Spring too. I've really been feeling it the last few days. Temps have been in the teens here, and it's just cold and annoying. A little bit of snow, but not a ton. But I miss going outside and walking and playing with the kids. We don't do it nearly enough in the winter because it's such a PITA to get us all bundled up. And before the most recent freeze, everything was so muddy and gross. It's like not even worth it to go outside. SO ready for warm weather, green trees and grass, flowers, etc. Ahhhh....

AFM - Looking forward to my day off tomorrow, although it'll probably be spent doing a heap of laundry and going to the grocery store. Calvin's first follow-up for his elbow is a week from today. I'm really anxious for it, just hoping to get good news. I'm terrified that they'll tell me something isn't looking right and they'll have to do another surgery. Ugh...

Katie - sorry about the crazy cycle!! Hopefully AF shows soon...

Ash - I'm ready for Spring as well!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mary - Hope you're able to enjoy a little bit of your day off. GL playing catch up.

AFM - I'm back to trying to pump after a few nursings. Benjamin is on-and-off with nursing good and nursing crappy and I can tell my supply sucks, so I need to do something. I'm not going to feed him anything yet, just trying to up my ouncage. Not that I'd have much to feed him. i've only been getting about 1/4 oz or so per session (I pump right after nursing). I should be getting more than that, though, I know it. I think it's party because my body isn't used to the pump. But I know how much you pump isn't a good indicator of what your supply is truly like, so I'm trying not to worry. He's still gaining (albeit slowly) and has a ton of wet diapers each day and poops, so he's drinking. Just not quite enough... Here's hoping this does the trick! We have a dr appt on Wed for his one month checkup (a week late) and I'm sure she'd recommend we pump/supplement anyway, so I'm just getting ahead of the game. heh

Mary - Hope Calvin is healing well.

Lauren - Can't imagine taking care of a 3 year old and an infant, that would be a handful. Glad you are handling it ok. I am sure you will figure out how to get Benjamin the right amount of milk, it's so tough when you can't nurse well.

Katie - Good luck figuring out what your body is doing. I've given up on trying to predict my cycles one month AF will come at CD 28-29 next CD 33.

Ashley - I feel you on being trapped indooors, I am egarly awaiting for spring.

    *AFM*

Sunday was good went to the Ontario Science Center for International Literacy Day, we got to see Robert Munsch, he was funny and the kids enjoyed him.

I think I have a bug of some sort, been exhaused since Sunday night, woke yesterday with a scratchy throat, last night I was over heating... fun. Thankfully it seems I'm the only one to have gotten it so far, I hope if it hits anyone else that I am better by then.

hope everyone feels better and the bad news ends soon. It's a rough enough time of the year without all that!

Katie - glad it was a BFN for you. I hope it stays that way.

AFM: I Oed Friday but my temp is doing it's slow rise pattern and FF hasn't caught on yet. My gut feeling is that we got one again. I hope it's right.

Virginia - I hope your gut feeling is right, and it's a sticky one this time.

Amanda - I hope the bug is mild and the kiddos don't get it!!

Lauren - Good luck with the pumping. I hope your supply picks up quickly.

AFM - Feeling more pregnant these days. My pelvis is starting to hurt when I lift my legs to put on my pants or step over a baby gate. Baby is moving a lot... Definitely different from last time when I had the anterior placenta. Peeing a LOT more frequently. I'm having a lot of braxton-hicks contractions. Enough to make me a tad nervous, especially because I've been having a lot of cramping too. I drink a ton of water, so it's not dehydration. Weird. Hopefully it's a sign that baby will come on his own this time (not for a new more months, of course).

Calvin is coming along. He still holds his arm out and says "ow" or "ouch" from time to time, and that makes me a little sad. He's only got one dose of his lortab elixir left. We've been trying to stretch it out. They only gave us 70ml of it.. So we've been using ibuprofen as much as possible and trying to substitute plain tylenol instead when he seems in less pain. Basically we've been reserving the lortab for bedtime to help him sleep a little better. I'm anxious for Monday to hear how it's looking after a week and a half post-op.

AF arrived - yay and UGH LOL Really this would have been the worst ever time to be preg b/c of the wedding so while I'm hoping for #3 right this instant it wouldn't be best so I'm glad it was just a longer than usual cycle.

Mary - Ugh pelvis pain no fun! I hope Cal's apt is good and he's healing up well

Amanda - I remember that science center from our trip there as a kid it was cool then hope you're feeling better!

Virginia - EVERYTHING is crossed for you!!

Lauren - GL with your supply, I hope you can get it up

AFM - speaking of BF'ing Rory still nurses AM and PM and I'm trying to decide if I will wean him when I travel next week. I am still making milk but not a ton. I don't pump at all I feed him at 7 and then again at 8pm mostly as a morning snuggle and bed time snuggle. I'm sure he could do with out it.....I use it once in a while if he gets all worked up over something but that's still pretty rare. He doesn't drink cow's milk at all (just refuses) but eats yogurt and cheese so gets plenty of healthy dairy. Sigh...decisions....

Mary - Glad that Calvin is getting better, too cute that he says ouch about his arm. I couldn't imagine Natalie getting hurt the kid would probably still bounce off walls like nothing was wrong.

Katie - Yay and boo to AF, LOL. Good luck with deciding what to do with Rory and BFing, you've done it for over a year I would likely be looking for freedom myself and call it quits, but I believe in sticking with what is best for you.

    Everyone Else - Hi!

    *AFM*

Good news the bug is a fast moving one, still a bit of the cold symptoms here but the exhaustion is gone

Last night I got a photo book done on Shutterfly, between their Valentines special and a gift card I had I only had to pay $12 for it.

I work today and tomorrow, and am off Friday since I go for my injections.

I really would like a cure for the Dystonia, I am so done with being on muscle relaxants and getting injections every 3 months.

Oh and one more thing I know many of you like to read, I am reading Game of Thrones right now, just started book 2 and it's a bit dark and heavy, just wondering if you ladies have any suggestions for some upbeat pulp fiction, that still has decent writing.

Where'd You Go Bernadette LOVED it. If you like chick-lit/romance The Pollyanna Plan was cute - total romance formula but it was light and fun, The Black Hawk is straight up romance but I liked it I tend to break up heavy books with chick-lit and romance It's my guilty pleasure reading. Where'd You Go Bernadette I wasn't even sure I'd like but it was on the Tournament of Books list so i thought why not and I LOVED it.

As for the nursing....I no longer really feel tied down since we do it twice a day for max of 10 minutes but ending it might be nice....I guess I'll just roll with it and see. I wonder if I need to bring my pump with me
