Katie - what book? since our taste in books seems so similar...
AFM: got slammed by another cold just as the previous one was getting better. ugh.
We're in the process of K registration. It's pretty crazy. I can't believe in 20 months I'll have one in 1st grade, on in K and one in pre-school! and hopefully a year-old baby.![]()

Virginia - I love the new siggy pic! I can't believe how big Oliver looks!! And Alex looks just like Raymond hahaha. Too cute.![]()
AFM - Nothing exciting in the least. I got home from work, exhausted, and the kids were napping. It was nice to have a bit of quiet time to relax. Calvin is awake now, but Sean is still out (at 6pm... yikes). I feel like I could go to bed now. I'm so ready for Spring. Sick of the cold weather.

Virginia - at the moment I'm read The Orphan Master's Son. I am making my way through all of the Tournament of Books books:
Announcing the 2013 Tournament of Books - The Morning News
So far I've read: Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk, May We Be Forgiven, The Round House, The Fault in Our Stars, The Song of Achilles, Where'd You Go Bernadette and Beautiful Ruins. I absolutely LOVED Where'd You Go Bernadette, takes less than a day to read and is so much fun. I really liked May We Be Forgiven but a few of the groups I read on Good Reads have not liked it so apparently that's just me. The Fault in Our Stars, Billy Lynn's and Round House are all depressing. THe Round House has won a variety of awards and is beautifully done but emotionally draining. I'd recommend all three but brace yourself. The Orphan Master's Son so far is excellent I'm about 125 pages in.
I also recently read Wolf Hall which is book one before Bring Up the Bodies. Historical fiction featuring Thomas Cromwell during the reign of Henry VIII -- Wolf Hall was very good, I'll read Bring Up The Bodies next probably, I already have it.
If you want to read my favorite series ever read The Lymond Chronicles by Dorothy Dunnett. I loved her second series House of Niccolo too but Lymond is the kind of series I'll catch myself thinking about out of the blue. I read it last year and would like to find time to read it again. I wish it had a good audio version b/c I'd love to listen to it.
I think all of the above pretty much solidifies my dork status forever....
OMG your boys are getting SO big and so cute! Evan isn't a fan of napping either but he will usually give us a little down time where he'll play in his room so I can get Rory down....

Rory 12/2/11 10lbs 12oz and 23"
Virginia: DH wouldn't go if I didn't but it's his favorite vacation so I'll suffer though for him. It wasn't that bad, just sort of boring. Loooove the siggy pic!!
Jen: I laughed out loud at your question whether our hotel had a spa. It isn't exactly the Ritz, perhaps more of a step above a motelI massage sounds lovely though! Glad Sam's kidneys seem to slowly be normalizing...hopefully they'll be 100% in 6 months! Sorry Owen wasn't cooperative with the evaluation, I would expect the same from Brekke though. Like she knows her ABCs and letter sounds really well, but won't do them for her preschool teacher so she can't get her "award" for having those down. It's so frustrating!
Katie: 0% is awesome! I might be able to sway DH if we found that. That's awesome that Evan loves daycare so much. I have to pretty much push Brekke out the door to preschool even though she has so much fun once she gets there, she just hates the idea of leaving me.PS glad to have a lot of good book suggestions too...I need a new book badly.
Mary: that's funny that you felt your baby tickling you before the ticker told you so!
Glad to be home except that it's freezing here still - go figure we'd go 6 hours north and it would be more comfortable. I'm so over winter. Gotta go get DD ready for school...have to leave in 20 minutes and she's still in PJs, hasn't eaten breakfast yet, needs her hair done (one reason I'm glad to be having another boy...I hate dealing with hair!) and DS is still asleep. Preschool mornings aren't my favorite.
ETA: Forget to mention (not that anyone really cares) that I found out I can drink coffee again in latte form. Tried home brew and can't quite stomach that yet. So strange. With the other 2 pregnancies I could drink an ounce of it until after birth.
I'm probably 3-4 days from O and both DH and I have come down with colds. woo hoo. The things which really sucks is I think anything which would help with the congestion would dry up my CM. I'll have to see if I can find something which won't. Kind of ridiculous.

Marking my spot here. I will be back for personals later today!
Randomly, though... I'm on CD 16 today, and I've been having BLEEDING. Like light red/pink. I guess it would be considered spotting? I barely have a spot or two on my liner, but it's (TMI) all over the toilet paper when I wipe. So bizarre. Not really fertile, I don't think, either? Last month I O'd on CD 19, started with EWCM on CD 17. The last few days I've been creamy, maybe borderline wet yesterday. So weird. I had some dull aching on my left side this morning, too. My friend thinks crazy O or cyst...
Thoughts?! This is my 5th PP AF since Sam.
Virginia - I should have clarified, it was a rarity for Sean to be napping. He stopped napping around his 3rd birthday, but every once in a while he surprises me. Honestly, I prefer that he doesn't nap now, because whenever he does, he doesn't want to go to bed at night.
Jen - No clue on the cycle. Sometimes spotting can be a sign of O. Maybe that's it?
Ashley - I've recently come around to enjoying coffee too... omg, I love it so much. It saddens me to find it repulsive during m/s.
Katie - How do you find the time to read so much? I have like half a dozen books that I've started and can't finish either due to lack of time and/or lack of attention span. Ugh.
AFM - Just heard the saddest news. My cousin is a teacher at a school near where I grew up. She told me that one of their 7th grade students committed suicide (via hanging).. OMG, I can't imagine. He would have had to be 12-13 years old. Unbelievable. My mind instantly guessed he was a poor bullied child, but she told me he was smart, good in sports, and popular. Who knows what sort of home life he had or what sort of underlying psychiatric issues he might have had, though. So sad...

Ashley - I love coffee glad your love of it is returning
Virginia - ugh colds are no fun GL managing it and TTC
Jen - Hm no idea....PPAF is always wonky for me so maybe it's just that?
Mary - Oh I read all the timeThe kids go to bed at 8 and I read from then until we go to bed around 10/11, I read while I blow my hair dry, I read while the kid's play. If I'm sitting down I'm reading in some form. Some books are harder to read while wrangling kids than others but I am rather obsessive about it. THat is so sad
I can't imagine being that young and seeing no brighter future. Awful.
AFM - it's so darn cold! Holy crap. It's not even fun to walk to the car! Brrrrrr That's about all the excitement lol the cold....like we aren't used to it every winter...

Evan 12/10/09 9lbs 5 and 1/4 oz 21.5"
Rory 12/2/11 10lbs 12oz and 23"
Mary: how sad!
Katie: we haven't had temps above mid 20s here for over a month, mostly teens for highs, and I'm soooo over it!! When is spring??! Boohoo!
Pulled out my Cricut last night to cut some vinyl and one of my dials is stuck so I couldn't use it. Not sure what I'm going to do about it but I'm pretty annoyed as it's seldom used so it isn't like it should be worn out.![]()
