Been a busy couple days here, I worked the beginning of the week so had thursday and friday off. Went to wonderland thursday, though the weather as not the nicest, it was comfortable and it kept the crowds down, made for a fun day. Friday not so fun, had my botox then the drive home was horrible cause of cottage country traffic. Yesterday was another fun day, went to an art fair held here every year then went out to dinner with family.

    Nat is up gotta go.

Busy weekend here too - Friday we went to COSI, a science museum for kids. Sean had a blast. A lot of the stuff is still too mature for him, but lots of age appropriate stuff also. Saturday, the ILs visited and we went to the state fair. Sean liked the animals and he went down the BIIIIIIG slide with FIL. Today, we went to visit my parents. My gpa is officially moved in with them and will likely stay there until he dies. He is going to be in hospice and the nurse will be out to meet him for the first time tomorrow. I'll bet that will be odd for the nurse since my mom is the long-time director of the hospice, and the nurses will be taking care of my gpa in her house. I'm sure they'll be on their best behavior, lol, not that they aren't always anyway.

Cal's ringworm situation is getting worse, grrr. It's a B---- to try to treat with topicals, and I'm SOOOO over it. Sean's spot is clearing up nicely and I thought Cal's was too, but then today, more cropped up on his arm... I think it's because he's constantly sucking on his hands, so his wrist area is always warm and moist, the perfect place for it to grow, ughhhh!! Anyway, I'm DONE with trying to treat it topically and will be calling the doc for oral treatment tomorrow. I hope they don't give me a difficult time with that... Preferably, they'd just send in a Rx without needing to see me, although I doubt it. Ugh, this is so disgusting and highly annoying.

Mary, I sent a friend request to you on FB. And that stinks about the ringworm. I hate having to go to the doctor and pay a copay...which I'm glad they have that because otherwise it would be over $200 a visit .

AFM, I hate that DH tells EVERYONE I'm pregnant. I've only told my mom and sister, because I am not only 6 weeks yet and haven't even been to the dr. But we saw his brother and girlfriend this weekend and she's like congratulations! and it's hard to be excited when you really don't feel like it's set yet. You know?

Lucas was sooo crazy today. We met the IL's for lunch halfway between our homes, which was a 1 1/2 drive one way. And he wouldn't sit still in the restaurant or stop screaming, and the car ride home he decided that he would also test his vocal cords to see how loud he could scream. He wasn't upset, just testing it out. I'm exhausted now, but my pregnancy has come with insomnia.

Cari - I hate the pregnancy insomnia. I had it pretty bad in the first trimester both times. It was especially bad with Calvin because right after a loss and also dealing with bleeding, I was on pins and needles constantly expecting another loss. Of course the insomnia wore off for me both times just in time for the all-night peeing to begin, hahaha.

It's funny that your DH is telling everyone. He must be excited. I'm the same though. I would've kept Cal's pregnancy a secret as long as possible, but it ended up out one day when I left work because the bleeding got heavy and scary. I think that was around 10 weeks or so, but I had every intention of hiding it at least until the 20-week scan.

AFM - I left a voicemail for the phone nurse about the RW. Ugh. I hope she calls me back quickly, and I hope even more that they're willing to just call me in a rx and not make me go in. DH doesn't want to have to try to man-handle both kids in the doctor's office, and I can't say I blame him... But I have to go to work later, so yeah.. And of course where I've been slapping the lotrimin cream on as soon as I see a spot crop up, the spots are barely visible. So of course if they want to see them, they'll think I'm overreacting... But I just wanna nip this in the bud already!!

ETA: Forgot some kinda neat news. My mom and I have been commissioned to photograph someone's wedding. It's totally pro bono because the people just can't afford much, and we are by no means professionals. But... It's fun because we get to "pretend" to be professionals for a day and there's no pressure because they're not paying us and thus don't have too high of expectations. Well, I'm not sure if I'm doing it or not because it happens to fall during my weekend to work... But my mom is really nervous to do it by herself, and was TOTALLY relieved when I volunteered to be her second shooter... So I'm going to try to get my partner to switch a day with me so I can do it.

Any sleeping techniques to help me out here? Andrew has NEVER SSTN and this waking up 6x a night is for the birds. Book recommendations are also welcome.

    Things we tried:
    Cosleeping
    CIO
    Tummy Sleeping
    Back Sleeping
    Side Sleeping
Rice cereal in the bottle at bed time

No advice here, Sandra... We're in a similar boat (see my previous post for Saturday night's schedule). Cal hasn't STTN since he was a newborn with mild jaundice, LOL. Sean was STTN regularly loooong before this point, so this is all new to me also.

In other news, it's time to tally up pg.org members' time spent BFing in honor of world breastfeeding week. I feel odd joining in because I've always EP'ed, except for the first 4 weeks with Cal, but hey.... It's still sorta BFing, right? They don't drink formula!

Anyway, here's the link for that -

Mary - Thanks for the link I contributed, even though I didn't get to BF for long.
