yay for movement!
Tsting for Lyme isn't accurate until after a month of infection. With Raymond we're watching for any sign of it. With me... if I'm pregnant I'm calling my doc right away to figure out a plan. But, honestly, Lyme doesn't worry me too much anymore. I can be easily treated during pregnancy and isn't known to have negative effects on baby if treated early (while a local infection). It's the other tick-borne illnesses which could be bad. I'm pretty sure with Anaplasmosis (Ehrlichiosis) the only effective drugs are teratogens. And Babesiosis involves high fevers. Not good. Luckily, they are rarer than Lyme. I'm trying not to get too stressed about it, but it's not working very well.

My mom runs the company I work for and my grandparents also "work" for her, my mom is also a Girl Guide (Scout) leader so she often has people coming by and dropping stuff off. Apparently one of the parents came by with a cheque for cookies a month ago and my grandmother took it, it's been sitting on her desk since then, I found it today when doing some work while my grandma is away.

It has been approximately 6 months since I weaned and I still leak milk constantly. I'm starting to think it will not ever stop. :confused:

Hi Amanda, Molly and Sandra!

AFM I now have 2 mobile boys and it's chaos :) In a fun way. Rory started pulling up on the 4th and is obsessed now. It's great except that he falls ALL the time b/c he's trying to get toys or reach for Evan or Evan just bumps him (or pushes him over). Rory is a total dare devil. I thought Evan was brave but Rory better have a tough noggin! He's so much fun now though. His first 6-7 months weren't easy but he's such a riot now!

Molly - LOL, good in that they work well, but not good in appearance. After making milk for two babies, they're totally saggy and stretch-marked and gross, hahahah.

Katie - Yay for 2 mobile boys! The fun is just beginning!! :) Calvin is a little dare-devil too (and I always thought Sean was worse). But when we got Sean his little bike for his birthday, he was scared to get on it.. Who was the first one on it? CALVIN! LOL... And he kept crying to get up on it and have us push him around on it. It was hilarious. ;)

Virginia - Test yet?!?! I'm waiting (im)patiently. ;)

AFM - I'm not feeling so badly about my 6-month boob leaking now... A girl on my March board has a friend who leaked for FIVE YEARS after weaning (shoot me if that happens to me). She said she had some issue with her pituitary gland though, so hopefully I don't have that issue, hahaha.

And... It hit 100 degrees here today (again) and tomorrow is supposed to be even hotter (103-106).

And... DH brought me a glass of wine and Calvin is having a tantrum because I won't let him drink it... We're not far from the Terrible 2's again, methinks, hahaha.

I'm here, I'm alive, barely, had my Botox today for my Dystonia doctor was trying to get optimal coverage and nicked a nerve so I'm now in some pain, a good nights sleep should help, though how I am going to do that in pain is going to be a challenge. Gonna take Advil, Tylenol and my muscle relaxants together and hope for the best, and yes it is safe, I checked with my pharmacist and have done it several times, so you don't have to worry Mary.

Mary - sorry about the leakage. I never leaked after weaning and heck, I barely leaked while nursing. Even in the beginning. But then again I had a crap milk supply and barely scraped by those 14 months! lol.

Amanda - sorry about the pain! I hope you feel better after a good night of sleep.

Katie - oh that is fun, but chaotic I'm sure. haha. Xander was never ever a daredevil. Just NOW is he starting to be one (which resulted in a nice tumble off the couch the other day, sigh). I'm curious to see how kiddo #2 is! Will he/she be similar or be the complete opposite?

AFM - just got done with a crazy weekend of lots of visitors! The in-laws were here from Wed-Fri and my parents were here Sat-Sun. I'm exhausted!! I ate an insane amount of food this weekend and yet I still haven't gained any weight! Man! This baby is just sucking everything up, I guess! I gained a lot easier with Xander! I'm not complaining or anything, and I'm certainly not worried this early on. At what point should I get worried about weight gain? I'm 15 weeks and as of today have gained 1/2 lb. But then some days it's 0 lbs or 1 lb or -1lb. It just varies a little bit every day... So I just say I haven't gained at this point. I'm not overweight, but I'm not skinny either, so I'm not really sure when it would become an issue. I can't imagine it is at this point... But if I still haven't gained anything at like 18 weeks should I be worried? Well I see my doctor in 2 1/2 weeks anyway, so if I still haven't gained anything I can ask her then. But I'm sure my body will go crazy and make up for it well before then. haha.
