Amanda - I hear ya on the messy kids. DH's parents came to visit this past Saturday. I had to work that day until 4pm, so he cleaned up in the morning while I was at work. The house looked great when I got home... And it was a disaster again within like 1-2 days.

AFM - DH did bake my cake, hahaha. He made it last night while I was at work. When I got home last night, Sean was yelling, "Mama, we made you birthday cake! But I don't know where's the sprinkles..." LOL... I told him it was fine without sprinkles, hahah... He's funny. He's got a fever today, grr. Well, he felt pretty warm last night before bed, then DH got up in the middle of the night and gave him medicine because he felt hot. This morning, I got 100.1 using the temporal thermometer, which translates to more like 101.1 using an oral thermometer. I assume Calvin had a bug when he had a fever a few days back, and Sean has it now. Calvin never really did show any real obvious signs of illness, but Sean sounds like he might have some sinus congestion. I hope his turns out really mild like Calvin's did. Of course I hate it when they have fevers after watching Sean have a seizure last year.

ugh, you ladies are making me even more nervous about likely moving 10 hours away from family. I really don't want to do it but DH thinks it'll be best for his career. At least there's a decent chance it would only be for a few years.

No idea when I'll end up having an u/s. I have a final FRER progression I'm posting over on DYSAL.

Virginia - When are you thinking about moving 10 hours away? That would be difficult, especially with all the LO's. Best of luck... Hopefully it'll be relatively short-term, like you said. Blaaaah...

AFM - Happy birthday to me, hahaha... Nothing too exciting today. I have to work tonight, yippee..

Virginia- That does sound crazy. It'd be hard to be away from your family, but at the same time trying to support DH.

Happy Birthday Mary!!!! You're a year behind me since I'm already 30 (30 and 1/2 if we're being technical).

Virginia - moving in general with 4 kids would make me a little crazy! But I was pretty obsessed with having our ideal house and set up before kids. I'm not a flexible sort LOL When we moved in our house I told DH that the kids could take me out feet first! Unless we win the lottery I think that will likely be the case but neither of us need to move for our careers, thankfully. Hope you're feeling well!

Hi Molly! Hi Sandra! Hi Amanda! Hi Lauren! Am I missing anyone? I'm on vacation I'm behind tomorrow is our last full day at the cape Booooo vacation goes SO fast! We have had a WONDERFUL week. The weather has been fantastic, we can easily walk right over to the beach, the boys are having a ball. Evan loves playing as the tide goes out (bay side beaches if you're at all familiar with Cape Cod), Rory likes the beach (though I have to be sure he isn't eating fists of sand). The house we're renting is nice, clean, convenient. Nothing dramatic has happened at work. THe dogs have behaved so far for the sitter at our house. It's a little chaotic being on vaca with 2 kids - trying to be sure no one is too cranky to eat out, or avoiding a fit at a public place (my iPhone has used the Disney App a few too many times, I try to avoid it but sometimes it just works!). Now I want to plan a January vacation....I think I need a week of vacation twice a year away from home

Mary - Happy birthday!!! I forgot to say it on facebook so i'll say it here!

Virginia - Out of personal experience, I dont recommend leaving. I thought it was what i wanted, but once Andrew came and I was alone when Rob deployed, I really regretted it. We have 2 more years here and we are HOPEFULLY going to be able to go home after that - *fingers crossed*.

Katie - Glad to hear you guys are having a great time!


AFM: For the first time in 19 months, my son actually kissed me back!! He's always been one of those kids who hates hugs or kisses from mom, but we have a nightly ritual that daddy puts him to bed and on his way, he brings Andrew to me to give him a kiss goodnight. This time andrew walked to me, i said "Can momma have a kiss goodnight?" - usually he turns his head away from me and i just grab him and smooch his cheek but this time he sucked his lips inward and put his face forward next to mine! It was so adorable.

Sandra - yay for baby kisses! Oliver gives kisses sometimes, but he's still learning not to use teeth during them.

AFM: felt like complete crap last night. I even asked DH why the heck we thought to do this again. Our whole summer plans have been changed over the past 24 hours. My family rents out a waterfront house and it has an open week coming up, so I've been scrambling to reschedule things and hopefully get help with the kids so we can spend an extra week there. So I had to reschedule the kids' swimming lessons and my first appointment (earlier!). Somehow it looks like it might all work out.

yeah, moving would suck, but if we have to then we have to.

TMI!
I had some pink in my CM 2 days ago, odd thing is it was 5 days after I would normally O (sorry can't tell you when I O'd), that's not normal for me. Though I don't know what is any more, sure it's probably nothing.


My bridesmaid dress came in, so today I have my fitting so it can be tailored, can't wait to see it, my friend chose a nice deep red (Claret) should be beautiful.

Natalie's dress I was given by the bride (it was used for her sisters wedding), just have to change some ribbon to match the colour scheme of the wedding, doing that myself should be simple. I'll try to post images after I get it all done.
