Lauren - Yay for a normal first appointment, glad you got to hear the heart beat, and that you can find out the gender at the OB's. Hope you are feeling a bit better today.

Virginia - Hope your business makes the 2WW fly by.

If I am not making cookies for a large amount of people I make my recipe bake one sheet of cookies and then freeze the rest of the dough in balls and store in a ziploc bag, that way I can bake cookies 1 batch at a time for my family and don't feel the need to eat 2 dozen cookies in a couple of days.

Dana when she was little was like a calm tomboy, she's outgrown it and has become a young lady, Nat is my hyper but complete girly girl. I love them both differently but equally.

Nat got her report card from school, it really doesn't have grades but more just comments on how she is progressing, by the sounds of it she is doing incredibly well, she can count from 1 - 29, write most of the numbers from 1 - 9 (still struggles with 5), she is starting to sound out and read words, and can trace cursive letters quite well, oral communication is incredibly good, she listens and responds to questions in an appropriate manner. I love seeing such great report card, just reinforceing what I already knew, shes a smartie.

Appitite came back on Saturday at my BFF's bridal shower, so I felt like a bit of a piggy eating so much, but I was HUNGRY. Very glad to be feeling better though.

The shower it self was quite but fun.

Went to see Prometheus on Saturday night, if you do go to see it turn off your brain, its a fun movie I really enjoyed it because I ignored bad science. There were a couple of creepy/gross scenes (it is an Aliens prequel after all) but over all it was pretty tame, mind you I watch some pretty violet movies/shows.

Amanda - I'm glad you're finally feeling better!

AFM: I was almost certain I Oed Monday, but then my fertile signs refused to fade until mid-day yesterday. Well, it's done now, anyway.

Nothing exciting happening here, working today, not my usual day but Nat's school is closed for tomorrow so I had them take her today so I could work. The really nice thing is I get to have a 4 day weekend because of it.

Virginia - YAY for 2WW!!! Keep us posted

Amanda - glad you're feeling better. Natalie sounds like a really bright little girl!

All this baby talk. I'm really wondering if we're done. I like having 2. I'm not sure I want to do the baby thing AGAIN. 2 seems like a nice number for travel, for college, for events etc etc I'm not ready to do anything permanent yet but I have absolutely NO baby fever. I don't want ot be pregnant, I don't want to have to deal with maternity leave and work getting all screwed up again. I like our life and balance now. I'm thinking about a Disney Cruise in Jan, we have a trip in a few weeks to the ocean.....I like that we can plan and do things now. So maybe we're done....and maybe I'm really ok with it. We'll see

Katie - As much as I would love to be able to have a 3rd, 2 is a nice number.

Virginia - hope the 2WW goes quickly!!

Amanda - sorry AF showed, bummer right after being sick!

Katie - I used to always want 3, then once I had a kid and saw what it actually entailed I decided 2 was better for us. I'm really feeling that now that I'm pregnant, too. I loved my first pregnancy and enjoyed most aspects of it. But this pregnancy... I dunno. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the baby and am so thrilled to have another - but as far as the "pregnancy" goes, eh. Now I haven't had any kicks or any cool stuff, so I'm sure that's going to change. But so far all I feel is ready to be done and get it over with. I'm sure the weeks on end of 90's and 100's that are KILLING ME are not helping my mood! haha.

Anyway, so I think 2 is a good number too. You just have to do what's right for your family. Some people thrive with more kiddos in tow (look at Super Mom Virginia!), but others do better with less. And no one says you have to decide anything right now. In a year you could think completely differently - or you could feel the exact same way.

AFM - like I said... OMG this heat is killing me!! I usually LOVE the sun, I would gladly play outside in the 90's and 100's! But I just can't now. Within minutes I feel so freakin' sick and just want to curl up and puke. But I have this super active little boy that needs to be outside! I feel bad because I've been doing our outside routine super early in the morning and making sure we're in by 9:30 am. He is NOT happy with this. He begs me all day to go back outside... I caved and took him to the pool yesterday afternoon, but I seriously felt like I was going to pass out in a bad way. I will not be doing that again today. I feel so bad for him!! I still force myself to go on a short walk with him in the afternoon, like 10 minutes, but even that is so hard on my body. I can't believe it's going to stay this hot well into next week!! Maybe the second trimester will bring me some relief, but I doubt it.

Speaking of, only 2 more days (including today) til the second trimester! WAhoo!!!!!!!!!

Katie - I know how you feel... Two is so easy because I can handle one and DH can handle the other. What are we going to do when we're outnumbered?? It's a scary thought. We've always really wanted more though, so I'm sure we've got at least one more in there somewhere. We'll most likely stop at 3, although I daydream about 4 because it's a nice even number.

Lauren - Same here. I've never had a strong feeling that I wanted either gender... Probably because I know I'll be overjoyed either way.

Amanda - Glad you're feeling better, but booo for AF.

Virginia - Good luck! Can't wait for a BFP!

AFM - Tomorrow is Sean's 3rd Birthday. How is this possible?? Ugh, I love watching them grow, but hate how fast they grow up. He's getting so big... He has multiple books memorized and "reads" them to us from memory, he's starting to write his letters, and talks nonstop. We bought him a little bicycle for his birthday and gave it to him this morning and I baked him a cake with none of his allergens, chocolate cake with homemade "butter"cream frosting (dyed blue)... It's just our own little family celebration, then tomorrow we'll have a party with my side of the family and Sunday, we'll have a party with DH's side.
