I love our pediatrician. She's always wonderful with the kids and is pretty laid back. She's completely unconcerned about Raymond's bedwetting and Alex's weight and Oliver's slow speech. And, she's a developmental pediatrician, so if baby does come early (or Oliver's speech never takes off) we're in really good hands.

baby has taken to hanging out transverse. It feels so weird! My others never really did that. I guess the low placenta is making different positions comfortable.

ETA: Katie, you should hurry up and TTC so I have some company!

Yes to my doctor's credit when I was worried about Evan's refusal to poop on the potty he was totally laid back he actually said "he will go before college" lol and he always allows most of the exam in my arms. I should probably just give him a pass on one crabby response. There are three docs at atthe office I really like which is nice I almost never see anyone I don't like even for last minute sick visits

Well I have a dress to get in in Sept so June and July are out. Anyone else thinking of ttc? Jen?

Two pg.org fb friends had babies this week, one from Rory's bb they are killing me

Katie - Not I! I am SO done. I never thought I'd really feel done, but I do. We've been discussing the big V lately. It's a little sad for me to think about doing something permanent, but I really am done. All these weird problems I've had PP has solidified it for me. My DH wants to do the V before I return to work because he's expecting to be debilitated for a few days and that would be rough as a SAHD with three LO's.

Virginia - I don't think mine ever really laid transverse either. Well, who knows about Calvin.. I barely felt him with the anterior placenta. I'm glad I could feel Nolan really well and he was very active. Feeling movement is my favorite thing about pregnancy and I really got to enjoy it for my last time.

Amanda - Booo for crappy pharmacy service. Too bad you can't come to me, I'd take good care of ya.. haha

Katie - Can't wait for you to TTC again. I need to stalk someone, see pictures of pee sticks, etc.

AFM - The other day when I was in the waiting room for my appointment with my family doc, I was reading a magazine about Summer events and things to do in our state. In there, I found a park here locally that has this HUGE splash fountain that you can go and play in. We've lived here going on 5 years and I never knew this place existed. Anyway, it looks like something the boys would LOVE, so I knew I wanted to take them. Well I posted it on fb today and my long-lost half-uncle (who is only 6 months older than me) responded and asked if I wanted to meet him and his gf and their two DD's there tomorrow. Their kids are really close in age to ours. Their oldest is only a week younger than Sean and then their younger one is maybe a couple months younger than Calvin. Should be a good time... I just hope I'm feeling well with all the tingling and crappiness I've had going on.

In other news, I decided to have Sean's birthday party at our house this year. In the past when we've done that, we've just invited very immediate family and kept it small. Well, this time, I assumed most people wouldn't come because we live far away from everyone, so I invited everyone including extended family and some friends I haven't seen in a while. I just made an event and invited people on facebook. Well, within the first few hours, our tally is up to like 24 people... And no one from DH's family has responded yet, but they're usually better about showing up than my family... So I'm expecting this could get kinda large. That should be interesting. I really hope the weather is nice so people can hang out in the back yard. I ordered an inflatable kiddie pool thing that has a slide and stuff and looks like fun. I'm going to use our new ice cream maker to make a variety of ice creams and sorbets to offer. It should be fun, but omg, it could end up being hectic... But in awesome news, my BFF from childhood is coming. I haven't seen her in, omg, probably 8 years (time flies)... I've never met her DS who will be 2 here in a few months. I'm so excited to see her and meet him.

I posted his birth story on my BB here for those who wanted to see it. It's really long sorry. The short answer is yes the birth went really well, a little hiccup with him swallowing blood so I didn't get to do skin to skin or really even hold him for almost 20 minutes but I'm glad they got him sucked out and he's doing fabulous now! And I got the shock of my life getting ZERO tears which has been incredible compared to my other two! He came out in only a handful of pushes & his shoulders actually took the longer to get out than his head. I feel like I could *almost* go for a run at this point

I promise to catch up on the thread later. We're going home later this morning, yay! Milk is coming in and I forgot how unpleasant that is...

Ashley - I just realized all your kiddos have 23-month spacing. I'll be waiting for your next one in May 2015! Off to read the birth story next.

AFM - Still stressed/scared about all this weird tingling and stuff. I hate it when it happens to my head (yes, it came back, ugh). It was today when we were out in the sun and the sun was hot on my head. That makes me scared again about the MS thing, because a lot of people have worsening symptoms when hot. But you'd think that after a month of symptoms, there would be SOMETHING on the MRI. I was reading that new lesions usually appear any time symptoms last longer than 24 hours. I dunno. It's all very unnerving and scary.

Mary - I wish it would just stop for you I wonder if you were on to anything with the epidural thoughts? I hope it just stops! Hope the party is great though I need a summer baby so at least one kid can have a real party

Ashley - LOVE the FB pics. Precious.

AFM - DH's dad is in the hospital. I guess he got dehydrated but they are worried about his blood counts and are keeping him at least until Monday. He's in his 80s and not in great healthy. It's making DH very short tempered - whenever he's worried or stressed he's short tempered and I know it's just that he's worried but ugh not fun. I tried talking to him tonight about potentially looking at doctor options for baby #3 -- I'd REALLY like someone more in line with natural birth and he just blew me off. We had healthy kids I should be happy. Sigh. I can do no meds easily, I'd like to have baby #3 with out IVs etc and my doc won't do it. DH is absolutely NOT ok with a home birth but just kind of blows me off on the rest. Sigh. Maybe it's just his mood....

Katie - look for a new doctor! Or a MW practice. My MW are super natural birth friendly but attend at a hospital. Or maybe a birth center. I wish there were one of those in my area.

Ashley - I'm glad you're doing so well!

Mary - GL. The party sounds great. We haven't done a bday party yet.

I wish we had a birth center but there isn't one...the closest is NYC and that won't work

Katie - I always wanted to switch to someone more natural-birth friendly also, but my DH loves my OB and didn't want me to switch, lol. I like him too (as a person), but just don't always see eye to eye with him on things. But yes, healthy babies is the end goal and I got that, so I'm happy. Sorry to hear your FIL isn't doing well and your DH is crabby. I hope it improves soon.

AFM - My cousin just sent me a PM on fb to tell me she's pregnant!! She said it's mostly a secret, she's only 9 weeks, but she wanted to catch me before I go getting rid of my maternity clothes because she needs some. She already has two girls. The oldest is maybe 6 or 7, the youngest turned two in May. I'll be anxious to see if this one is a girl or boy, because seriously, I am the only person in my family with boys other than some older teenage ones... And I have THREE. LOL. Everyone else has girls, so I'd be shocked if this one's a boy.

Yesterday, we met my mom's half-brother (who is actually only 6 months older than me, haha) and his girlfriend and their two DD's at this park sorta place downtown where they have huge sprinklers/fountains you can play in. It was actually pretty cold. I was going to wait until a warmer day to take our kids, but he was all enthusiastic about it and we don't get to see them much, so I said we'd go. Well, we were disappointed to find that it was closed for "repairs" when we got there... We asked a worker if it was going to open back up, and he said yes, they had to clean it because someone got sick in it (eww). It took like two hours before it was open again.... The kids just ran around and played tag and stuff. I was almost ready to leave when they finally turned it on around 5pm. Sean REFUSED to play in it. He didn't want anything to do with it... I was shocked, because he LOVED playing in water last year. I think he might have been overwhelmed because there was a huge art festival going on in the area and there were a ton of people there. Calvin, on the other hand, was going NUTS playing in the water. It was hilarious. Random people were stopping to watch him play in it, and my mom said some people were even taking pictures of him (which is odd to me, but whatever...). He got SO cold, but he would not get out of it. I kept asking him if he was all done and he'd say, "No! Water!!" So I let him play in it, but I swear he stayed in it until he got to the point where he was blue, so I took him out and we called it a day.

Here are some pics my mom took:

    Bonus pic with me, haha.

This is just some random little girl that was playing there around Calvin, but I thought it was too cute. Those little fountains would get low for a few seconds, then shoot up really high over their heads. They were trying to cover them with their hands, but then of course the other ones would just shoot up and hit them in the faces, haha.

Sean running (yes he really has both of his legs, haha):

ETA: Just realized my mom hadn't taken any of Nolan, but he was with us too.
So just for good measure, here's my most recent Nolan pic. The hat and diaper cover thingie were made by a girl on my June 2009 board.

So cute Mary! and you look great!

We went to a sprinkler park yesterday, too. This is the first year Raymond will go in the water. Give Sean some time. I'll have to take photos sometime because we have matching tie-dye shirts for the family. Dorky, I know, but it's amazing in a crowded park/museum. We can spot the kids easily and they can spot us easily (yesterday was the first day with Mommy and Daddy tie-dye shirts). I made sizes 18m-10/12 and have an extra set of dye in case I need more. And at my dad's suggestion we used sharpie to write our cell phone numbers on the front hem of the kids' shirts. The older ones know they have their phone numbers there if they can't find us.
