Virginia - I have NO idea. July when we go on vaca it will be Rory's first time away over night since vacation last year. I'm thinking it may be difficult. Luckily we're renting a house so I can let him cry basically if I have to. He no longer will sleep on top of me so I'm not sure what else we'll do.

As for Gaiman....I LOVED American Gods. It's by far my favorite but Neverwhere and Stardust are shorter and quicker reads that I totally enjoyed. I might start with Neverwhere then do American Gods. I haven't read the comics, just not really my thing...

Virginia - woohoo for not moving! Glad you had a good weekend.. Good luck with the weaning.

AFM - On the topic of weaning, I've made the painful decision to stop pumping for Nolan. It makes me sad to even type it, because I made it to a year for the other two. My body is just so weak and worthless at this point that I need to conserve all the energy I can. I physically have reached my limit. Depressing. My MIL is here helping DH clean up our disaster of a house, thank goodness. So scared about return-to-work time.

Mary - you have to take care of you first ever way you can. Nolan will be fine either way and better for you taking care of you. I hope the doctor has some insights, my heart breaks for you

Katie: I'm totally jealous of all the books you read! I love a good book but have trouble prioritizing time to do it (doesnt help that DH hates to read so if I read in bed it makes him crazy).

Virginia: yay for not moving!!! Sorry the weaning isn't going great.

Mary: *hugs* I'm sure that was a very difficult decision to make. Try your best to look at the big picture though that the most important thing is to have a happy mom; that'll make a biggest impact on him over what source his milk comes from. You've pushed through this far and he got a great start! He'll do great! And sorry your cousins EDD is the same as your m/c, I'm sure that stirred up emotions you don't want to deal with right now.

Got the kids' pics done yesterday. They did great and cooperated really well, even Hudson. Woohoo! Had a rough night and Dane was up for about 2 hours on and off to boot, thank goodness for coffee! Brekke had her first soccer game last night, it was pretty funny. She was tired by the last quarter and mostly walked around but in all fairness it was really hot so I couldn't blame her! She managed to kick the ball a few times so at least she was trying unlike half the kids on her team who were crying on the sidelines lol. 3-4 year olds are unpredictable!

Mary - Don't feel bad about weaning Nolan off of pumped milk, I think it's awesome you have gotten this far. Both my girls were off the boob (I breast fed) by 3 months. Dana was just a struggle to get to feed on breast and I gave up after 3 months, bottle was just easier, bad excuse but I was only 20. Natalie I went on medication that went in to the milk 1 week PP so had to stop. Both my girls are both strong healthy and active. I did skin to skin contact often when bottle feeding Natalie it helped.

Working today, will try and update more later.

Mary - you need to do what's best for you.

Ashley - 3-4 year old soccer? Oh my. I bet that's interesting. We haven't tried any sports yet (other than ballet )

AFM: went for a 1.5 mile walk today and I didn't get lightheaded! Woohoo. Maybe my BP is finally getting back to normal.

Thanks girls. I'm still pumping, but that's mainly because my supply is huge and it's going to take a while to wean it down. I've got it down to about 4 times a day, which is pretty good considering I do 7 times a day for the first several weeks. My supply has stayed pretty strong in the past with 4 times daily pumping, but usually gets weaker once I get down to three times daily. I might try to get it down to three times daily and maintain that for as long as I can. That way I won't have to pump at work when I go back (just one more thing to cause me stress, which I do NOT need), but maybe I can continue giving him milk for a while longer. And if we get to the point where demand beats supply, then maybe I can supplement just a little each day, and not to entirely formula.

Mary- sounds like a good plan and not pumping at work would be great it is such a pain

I am on my kindle so not many personals hi all!

I had a crap week at work and have been just generally bummed this week. I was hoping a job prospect might solidify but so far no follow up from them there is still time but waiting stinks. I believe we have survived June tregnancy free...af due in five days...I'm trying to convince dh July would be good enough lol I'm ready....

WooHoo, GL Katie! I hope DH comes around

Mary - sounds like a good plan! If you get a lot of clogged ducts, my MW suggested I take a lecithin supplement to help prevent those. I started it recently and immediately went 4 days without BFing and didn't get clogged. wow.

Virginia - wow, that's crazy! So does that mean you've weaned, or are you still working on it?

Katie - I hope your DH comes around for July... I'm ready for some more TTC'ers to stalk in here!

AFM - I was watching videos on youtube from people who have Lyme disease today, and many of them really hit home and sounded a lot like what I've been going through. I'm not entirely convinced one way or another, but I'm anxious to see what the test says. It's a little scary though because one of the videos was from a person who had severe symptoms for YEARS and was tested like 8 times before she got a positive test. So I'm not really sure what I do if the test comes back negative, because I'm still convinced that it could be MS or something too. But a lot of the pain that I've been experiencing seems to be a common thing among Lyme people and not so much with MS. They're also testing me for lupus, but I don't really think it's lupus. So I don't know what to do if the Lyme comes back negative. I'm still seeing a new neurologist to try to get further tests for MS and stuff, but do I insist on seeing a Lyme specialist? I know I had ticks on me two different times in April, didn't think any bit me, but apparently they can be incredibly small.. So maybe? My fears are that (a) my problem could go undiagnosed, and (b) if I did contract Lyme while pregnant, what effect could it have on Nolan? Ugh.
