Mary - I hope either way you can figure it out and get it under control! You deserve to feel good for yourself and those babies!

It has been a busy weekend. DH had Friday off but went to see niece #1 graduate HS. Then we all went to his parent's yesterday for the family party and today DH went back out to see niece #2 graduate. He has tomorrow off though so he can relax then. The boys had fun with their cousins but are way tired and crabby today. FIL looked...ok...DH seemed positive but he seemed off to me still. I'm worried but I'm not sure there's much we can do.

I have been obsessing lately about either the things I want to do to our house or just moving. I swore when we moved here I'd never move again LOL I lie. It's just if we have a 3rd I think I'd like 4 bedrooms and we only have 3. Really I'd like 5 bedrooms or 4 and a finished basement. We could finish our basement here along with doing some other stuff I'd like to do to the kitchen and family room but we'd still only have 3 bedrooms. Or we could move....I suppose I should focus on saving first then decide what we're going to do. but it's much more fun to decide how to spend the money instead of how to save it This is what happens when I have to wait to TTC I decide to move

Mary - I hope you get some definitive answers soon.

Katie - lol at how you're spending your time waiting to TTC! We only have 3 bedrooms and it sucks not having an extra room for guests or whatever.

Everyone else HI! I caught up on the rest days ago and now can't remember exactly what people said and it's too late for me to scroll back now that I'm here, soooooooooo.... Yeah.

AFM - I've been reading, I just keep running out of time to actually post! I took Xander to see Monsters University on Saturday. he did better than I thought he would - he made it through the previews (which took 30 freakin' minutes! mainly commercials for candy) and 15 minutes of the actual movie. I could tell he was getting nervous because it was sooooo dark in there and everything was loud. Two things he does. not. like. I told DH this and said I thought we should wait another year to take him to the theater, but since Xander loves Monsters Inc. sooooo much DH started selling him on going to see a movie months ago before he asked me, so I couldn't tell him no. At least I kept everything cool. When he started saying he wanted to go home I held him for a minute to make sure he wasn't going to change his mind, but he wouldn't let it go and we just left like it was no big deal. I didn't want to scar him or anything by trying to make him stay. And like I said, he did better than I thought he would. I figured the second the lights went out that he'd be outta there! lol

Honestly, the kid is scared of EVERYTHING all of the sudden, so I think it's just a phase and I'm trying my best to just stay neutral about it all and not make it worse. Tonight he was scared of his dresser (?!) and didn't want to sleep in his room. But once I tucked him in he was fine (DH has been putting him to bed). He's also gotten ultra possessive of his things. Well, of any thing he decides is his (like my pepper mill for some reason, lol).

Mary - I did a ton of Lyme research last summer because I was bitten by a deer tick nymph about a week before I found out I was pregnant (with first m/c). And the ticks in our area are 30-50% infected. The ticks can be super tiny and a lot of people never recall being bitten, which is why they don't think of Lyme right away. From what I recall, the timing is right for symptoms if you were bitten in April.
As for an effect on Nolan, I think it's unlikely so late in pregnancy. Most of the problems I remember reading about were when Lyme predated pregnancy or was contracted early on. I'd definitely ask about it if the test comes back positive, though.

Katie - we've got 3 bedrooms, one which doesn't heat well and is used as an office. The boys really love sharing a room at this point, so I wouldn't making moving a high priority right now. Just stick tow kids in together. or three.

Lauren - sorry the movie didn't go well. I hope some of the fears go away soon, too. Alex often says he's scared of "the monster shadow" but Raymond can usually convince him to relax. It's really cute.

AFM: We're doing pretty well. We had a mostly fun weekend visiting family and swimming. It's unbearably hot already and not even 9am, so today could be interesting.
Last night DH mentioned a #5. Wow. If this pregnancy were another easy one I'm sure we'd do #5 someday. But... there's still so much that could go wrong. If it turns out well maybe we'll keep going. DH is really liking the idea of a big family. He grew up in a small, scattered family (his cousins are all across the country and much older) and he's been watching my larger, closer family and thinks it looks better. His grandmother is also dying and his mom is an only child and it's clearly really tough for her because after this she'll have nobody with whom to share childhood memories or anything.
The boys have been suggesting names for the baby. It's really cute. And Alex has decided the baby is his. He'll lift my shirt and ask "can I give my baby a kiss?" Awwww.

    Hi everyone.

How do weekends get so busy? Saturday we did our errands, DH and I got hair cuts (OMG the lady butchered DH's hair) and got groceries, since Dana and 2 of her cousins are all graduating from grade 8 we went out with DH's family for dinner then went to see Monster University at the Drive-in, the girls hung out at BIL's van with their kids and had a good time and enjoyed the movie. DH and I got some time alone in our car.

Sunday we went strawberry picking, I froze a bunch, made some jam, and I am going to make strawberry chocolate chip ice cream this week.

Lauren - Evan gets super afraid of things. Like the Easter Bunny and Santa at daycare - he was a wreck. We went to see a Disney Live thing and the first 5 minutes he cried and wanted to leave because it was dark and loud but then the characters he knew came out and he got all in to it and was fine the rest of the time.

Virginia - Sounds like fun! And that's funny on DH I bet you'll go for #5 eventually.

Amanda - Mmm jam! Hope you had fun!

AFM - Well I met with the midwife today and liked her a lot! Nice practice VERY flexible. I think I'll be really happy there. The extra 30 minutes to the hospital will stink a bit but all in all I think it will be worth it. Now AF just needs to show up so I can decide to TTC or not LOL

Katie - I can't do a 30 minute drive to a hospital, I'd end up delivering in a car O.o, yay on TTCing soon.

Katie: lol to your moving plans, gotta keep your brain occupied somehow. Glad to hear the practice should work well for you. It's always positive to find a good fit.

Lauren: sorry Xander is going through a scared of everything phase. Brekke went through something similar maybe not to that extent but it was really frustrating all the same.

Amanda: strawberry picking sounds like a great time. glad the kids enjoyed the drive in!

We had Hudson''s 2 week appt yesterday (even though he's almost 3 weeks). He's above birth weight by only 2 oz, looks like I have another tiny peanut! In comparison, Dane was a giant! Lol. Took the other two to his appointment and they did great. The doc told me I need to continue feeding him every 4 hours at night which is about when he wakes anyway but bummer that if he is sleeping I need to wake him. The last two nights, I've fed him right before I go to bed around 10:30-11, then he's gotten up to eat around 2:30, up for about 30 minutes, then has slept until 6:30ish. I can definitely handle that. Over the weekend he got up one night every 2 hours to eat and that was not cool!

Katie - just TTC! Go for it! I had a 5 minute drive to the hosp with #1, 20-30min with #2 (ended up going in during rush hour, in labor, and thankfully traffic was light), and 10 minutes with #3 and this one. I don't think 30+ minutes is bad unless you have really fast labors. You've done it before, so you'll have a pretty good idea when to go in.

Ashley - Sorry Hudson isn't gaining fast. I hope you can make some progress so you don't have to wake him at night for very long. Every 2 hours at night was pretty normal for me boys. Enjoy those longer stretched when you get them.

AFM: Raymond graduated from preschool today. Wow. DH's birthday is this weekend and I complete forgot about it until yesterday. Uh oh. Guess I'll be scrambling to come up with something.

Here's a photo of the boys from yesterday. 3 boys + backyard + pool of water = mud, mud, mud. It was quite the job cleaning them up enough for Raymond's graduation today! It took the hose, splashing in the pool, and 2 baths to get all the mud off. (Alex, Oliver, Raymond)

Virginia: such a cute picture! I bet that was "fun" to clean up Happy 24 weeks tomorrow

Mary: hope your doc appointment went well today. Question, how do you always have the hook up for free 8x8 from Shutterfly? I've had one sitting there for quite a while to order but I was hoping they'd send me some sort of offer like they had in the past...no luck so far.

Ashley - I have no idea! I must be on some sort of awesome mailing list. They send me free offers all the time! I have a few free coffee mugs and free magnets, a LOT of free photo books, and several times I've gotten 101 free 4x6 prints. The only thing I've ever actually paid for from there was my photo book with Sean's 365 project, because it's too many pictures for the free offers.

Virginia - LOVE the pic of the boys. They're so cute, and getting so big!

Katie - TTC!!! I can't wait for you to TTC... Need to live vicariously through someone since we're officially done.

Amanda - I wanted to go strawberry picking this Spring/Summer, but it hasn't happened. I thought it would be fun to do with the boys. Although they probably would have no self control and be trying to eat them the whole time, haha.

AFM - Saw the other neurologist today. Basically I can't do anything right now but wait. He said of course his concern is MS with my symptoms, my age, and the fact that I'm a female (more common in females), but that if it is MS and this is the beginning of it, it could take months before it shows up on an MRI as lesions in my brain. He also weakly stated that it could be due to my deficiency of vitamin D or a medication-related thing, but I really doubt it. Ugh... So anyway, he mentioned several tests - visual evoked potential, EMG, repeat MRI's this time with contrast, etc. but we won't be doing them for another 3 months just to try to avoid doing it too soon and missing a positive result. Blah. This is horrific.
