my testing thread

nope, haven't tested yet. I'm at a relative's house and won't get a chance until I get home this afternoon.
But... I did update my chart. My guess at this point is that I'm pregnant. Something started feeling different a couple days ago. I've been getting tired really easily, am sensitive to smells, and more prone than usual to dizziness and lightheadedness. And TMI at 9dpo my cervix suddenly got super hard and really high. This morning I had some bilateral pulling pains, too. And I was away from Ollie for a couple days and only pumped 3-4oz every 12 hours. That's not much for me.
I'll update once I get a chance to test, but figured if I didn't say something everyone would be wondering what was going on.

Not to jinx myself, but I've been super exhausted the past few days, my appetite has decreased over the same time frame, and that's as dark as I'd expect (if not a little darker) for 11dpo afternoon. It's darker in person, as usual.
Thankfully, my sister got good news at her appointment, and is clear to TTC in a month or two. Smile her doc thinks she'll be able to get pregnant. Whew.

Yay for your sister getting the clearance. Sending her lots of positive vibes.

And I wouldn't take any pink vibes from Mary :bleh:, but I'll gladly send you some :D.

I've got some 12dpo lines for you.

I did go from afternoon to FMU, so I expected them to be darker. But the OPK surprised me. I think it took until 14dpo to get lines like that with Oliver. I'll have to go look at some old test pics.

Hahaha, that's true, Amanda! Wink I must say, Virginia, I'm impressed that you made it to 11 dpo before testing!!

Okay, threads like this do not help the baby fever. I've already been trying to work on DH, but he wants to wait until Jan 1 to try again.

Congratulations, Virginia!! How exciting!!

And there are a lot of us on here that will need some pink dust! Don't take it all!! Wink

Oh, I figure it's a boy anyway, so pink dust is probably a waste of time. Wink
Mary - go for it! And it's a lot easier to hold out to when at a kids' amusement park and visiting family. Not many chances to test and pretty strong incentive not to know. I spent 9dpo and 10dpo happily riding kiddie roller coasters and such.
Jen - oh my goodness! Sam isn't even 2 weeks old and you're already thinking about a 3rd? Wink

We put away all the baby stuff today in our house -- the chairs, swings, jumpers etc etc and maybe just maybe I had a tinge of sadness that felt like a pin prick of baby fever. LOL MAYBE!

THen I spent an hour rocking Rory in a death grip until he stopped fighting and kicking and trying not to fall asleep -- IN MY BED (that now has rails. My bed has rails....seriously....I sleep in an adult crib) -- and it kind of went away lol

Oh god, no! I at least want my episiotomy and hemorrhoids to heal before I think about THAT! Lol I always thought we were done after Sam, but I overheard DH the other day tell someone on the phone if I really wanted to try for a girl, we could go for a third. Which, was shocking to me, as he's been absolutely adamant about being done after Sam! So, I am happy at the prospect of it being a possibility if I feel I want a third down the road, but in no way am I thinking about jumping on that train anytime in the next 18 months! Wink I want to enjoy this little guy first! We'll just say I'm happy it's on the table and that we'll probably have one more. I always wanted 3!

LOL Katie!!

Yay Jen! How exciting. Smile DH and I think we might be done after this one, but we admit we won't know for sure until s/he is 2-3 years old... if we make it that far.

Katie - glad Rory could help you out. Wink

Congrats Virginia!

Just when I was 99% convinced we were done. Thanks for the baby fever Wink

And I have a strange DTD question... how do you guys manage to do it so often with 3 little boys?!

give up sleep. Wink I usually regret it in the morning.
the twice in one day was because we were away overnight for a wedding. The timing was just good.

Wait... You people sleep?

TMI! I found that the teen years disrupt DTD far more than little kids, little ones are in bed by 8 possibly 9 at the latest. Of course I was blessed with good sleepers.

9 at the latest? Ours sometimes stay up well past then. Those are disappointing nights. I figure when I have 3 (or 4) teenage boys maybe we can DTD in the morning while they sleep in until 10 or 11am.

So... back to testing. (not that I mind! ;))
Someone please tell me I'm crazy to be worrying. Here are my 12dpo-14dpo tests.

here's my chart

My Ovulation Chart

notice it's going up up up

and my symptoms are great: I wanted to go to bed at 7pm last night and finally did at 8:30pm. I've been having nausea at waking. I'm peeing all the time.

But... those tests have me a little worried. It doesn't look to me like they're getting any darker.

Step away from the tests!!!!!

I looked at Xander's tests, they were like yours - about the same darkness for a few days and then they'd go a little darker... I don't think I had a really dark test til 17 or 18 dpo. With this kiddo I only tested twice, both really early, so I'm no help there.

Your chart and symptoms look good, so try to stop worrying. The stress won't do you any good...

Thanks. Smile I mean, I know that, but it's a lot easier to believe if when someone else says it.

Yeah, step away from the tests! IC's take forever to progress, anyhow, so just stop! Wink

Virginia - Those tests look great!

And waking my DH in the morning is worse than waking a teenager, even if I am nice about it.

Congrats Virginia!! Im so excited for you guys!! Sending you all the pink dust I can!!! I wish you would have sent me some of that blue dust! My poor hubby is having his 4th daughter now!! He was so hoping for a boy! I always was impressed with how much you and DH found the time to DTD!! I agree that you should leave the IC's alone! They always take a lot longer to get darker than the other types! Try an FRER if you are that worried! I think you will be just fine Smile
