I love his white hair I think he looks so much like his brothers too. What a cutie Glad you made it out of the hospital. GL with getting the boys to give him some space, we're going to have that issue big time at my house!

Thanks everyone! Just sharing another new pic, also from fb.

We never got around to kicking the boys out of our bed, so DH is upstairs now moving their big-boy bed from the guest room to Sean's bedroom. They'll sleep together in there until whenever we move, then we'll mess with buying another bed. I don't want another big piece of furniture to move. We all slept in the living room last night because it was just easier to let them fall asleep on the couch. Hopefully they'll sleep in the bed and tonight will be a bit more comfy.

He is so perfect I was showing DH the pic on FB of you with your 3 boys....you know b/c I have baby fever

I was wondering (asked over on the May thread) about the sleeping situation. I can totally see all 5 in one bed I love it!

Nolan is so sweet, sigh, baby fever.

Hahaha, no... Thank goodness, the boys slept in their big boy bed for the first time last night! They did pretty well. It was a meltdown when we first put them in there. I'm talking meltdown of epic proportions, especially from Sean. Calvin's was bad too, but I don't think he would have melted down so horribly if Sean didn't sorta escalate the situation with his HUGE reaction. But they both passed out, and it didn't take too terribly long. We got some decent sleep, woohoo. Calvin did wake up crying and needing some comfort at one point, but he usually does, so I expected that. Sean came in at some point early this morning, maybe around 7 and said, "Daddy, Calvin is all by himself in the dinosaur bed." Hahaha.. So DH went in and laid with them so he'd go back to sleep. They all ended up sleeping in there until 10am. It was a pretty good coincidence, because that's what time I was waking up on my own also... So it worked out quite well. We'll see how tonight goes. I'm glad we're taking on the bedtime battle NOW, so we ought to be in a good routine by the time I go back to work. Of course we could have taken it on months ago so we wouldn't have to deal with it on top of having a newborn, but it's going okay.

GL with the bedtime battle! I loved having Oliver in our room (in the cosleeper until 6-7 months then in a portacrib) but I'm thrilled that he now sometimes asks for naps and almost never wakes at night.
Let your DH do the bedtime stuff, you can just deal with the newborn.

Bedtime has gone shockingly well after the first night. Last night, Sean actually begged to go to bed. He NEVER wants to go to bed. DH laid with him for a bit and he said, "Daddy, I thought you were going to sleep in the other bed..." as if to say, "Get out of my room." LOL.

AFM - Ugh... My BP got out of whack and was high last night, so I went to ER. Thankfully no post-partum pre-E or anything. I'll continue my BP med for a couple weeks then wean off. There was apparently misunderstanding about what I was to do with the med. They did not give it to me the whole time I was in the hospital, and when I was discharged, they just told me to check my BP twice daily. They called my doc last night and he said he didn't intend for me to stop it. So why didn't I get it for 2 days in the hospital?? So anyway, it's under control now.

Among other problems... My hands are tingling nonstop. Not sure what is wrong. And my left boob spit out a bunch of disgusting, clotty blood earlier. Ugh. I feel like I'm falling apart. Only good news is the PP bleeding has slowed nicely and that the kids are all being pretty good.

WOW! WTTW Baby Nolan! Congrats Mary! Gorgeous pics and babe!

Don't you hate that?!!!? It's the last thing that needs to be said when you are in pain! Nurses told me the same thing and Ben was basically born the same way. My body/contractions did all the work for me. No pushign at all and they are screaming "Hold it Hold it!" at me like I had any control! Anyways. Glad to hear it wasn't too hard on ya!
