Thanks girls! They had a blast trick-or-treating, even though it was freezing and wet outside. We made it to most of the houses in our little neighborhood before Calvin started getting fussy and we headed home.
Virginia - I see you're 5 dpo... Are you still feeling "out" this month?? I hope it's a BFP! Your timing was great.
Amanda - Yes, I'm not loving the time change yet either. It gets dark SOOO early. I dread it tonight when I go to work. My new store is generally pretty slow in the evenings anyway, then when it gets dark so early, it takes FOREVER to get to 10pm.
AFM - I had a 3-day weekend which was wonderful. We didn't visit any family, which is sadly a good thing... our parents, well mostly DH's parents, expect us to devote every single weekend to them, so it's really nice when we get a free weekend here and there. Friday, I had my car fixed.. $400 bucks and DH doesn't even act convinced that it's fixed. Grrreat. I guess we'll find out on my way to work today. After that, we had yummy lunch at Cheesecake factory. LOL, we hadn't been there in the past 6 months, probably, and we had the same waiter and he remembered us. Hahaha.. Weird. Saturday and yesterday were mostly lazy days. I did lots of cooking and baking, so that was fun.![]()

I'm glad you had such a good weekend, Mary! 13 weeks. Wow.
Yeah, I'm still not feeling it this month. My temp pattern doesn't look like my pregnancy charts so far. My temp rose too quickly.

Mary - Glad you had a mostly lazy weekend,it's nice to be able to have no real plans.
Virginia - Sounds like your timing was good, hopefully your gut feeling was wrong.

It's pretty quiet in the office today, so it's a bit of a relief from having to stay home and watch Nat.

I finally caught up!!!!!! It took foreeeeever!
Mary - hope the car is totally fixed. Love the pics of the boys! Glad to hear your boss took the news well - any word from the big guy yet?
Virginia - I hope things work out this month. Not much longer til we know for sure!
Katie - sorry about the issues with the dog rescue. I hope you get a callback for the new job!
Amanda - yay for a quiet day in the office! I could use a nice quiet day! lol
Ash - horray for telling family and getting it over with. Sorry your family was only lukewarm about it. I think anymore people expect you to have two kids and then be done, so when someone decides they want a larger family it isn't as celebrated, which is such a bummer.
AFM - I am so exhausted! I have spent every day playing "catch up" since we got back from our parents over a week ago. I just can't seem to get ahead! I've also hit nesting mode, so it's driving me crazy to not have everything perfect! lol Plus I get so tired and worn down after just a little cleaning, so I can't do everything I want to do all at once. It is driving me insane!!!
Halloween was fun. Xander loved Trick or Treating! It's a good thing our city does it for two nights, though, because he'd get too cold after 40 minutes. So he was able to hit a few extra houses. He's so slow going from door to door, so really he didn't get very much candy (which is a good thing, heh). And now he still has to dress up as Handy Manny. haha. He keeps dressing up just to play around the house, it's too cute.
Lauren: glad Xander had fun trick or treating! ITA with what you said about people's reaction past baby #2. GL with your nestingI need some of that around here!
Mary: glad you got a lazy weekend. Our parents are the opposite lately and fall off the face of the planet on the weekends...meaning no babysitters!![]()
Virginia: chart looks great, crossing fingers for you!
Amanda: hey if you have to go into work, might as well have a relaxing day
I'm so over being sick and tired all the time although I remind myself it's for a good cause. I just have zero energy and it's so hard to keep up on everything. And if I take my nausea meds, it's even worse but then at least I don't feel like death. Oh well, it's only temporary, right? Hard to remember that.
I hate vivid, realistic dreams. Well, at least the kind I've been having since O. Two have been particularly disturbing. First was the dream that my mom ( 58 ) found out she was pregnant and lost a baby boy the same day. In the dream she was past 20 weeks. Very, very realistic and it took me a long time after waking to convince myself it was a dream. Last night it was that my (real) little brother had been diagnosed with some horrible disease and didn't have long to live. Again, I've had trouble shaking the sadness. I just passed a picture of him in the hallway and wanted to cry, even though he's absolutely fine and having a great first year at college. Ugh. Dreams like that are pretty routine for me while pregnant, but it seems a bit unlikely that I could blame it on that at only 5dpo. It's got to just be the normal progesterone.

Good Luck Virginia. And I agree on the dreams. I hate them too.
I hope all of this m/s stuff goes away for you ladies. Even though it's a good sign it still sucks.
Glad to hear everyone had a good TnT. We did a little bit around the neighborhood but Madison got tired pretty quickly. Must of had a rough day at daycare.
Virginia: scary! I always have strange dreams mostly when I'm in the process of waking up and it's almost like I hallucinate and see things in my room or wherever I'm at (happens a lot when I'm not out of town). So I wake up screaming or jump out of bed half asleep from time to time. Drives DH nuts. But yuck about those real-life scary dreams. DH has those a lot and they shake him sometimes.
Molly: glad she had fun even if she was tired!
As promised, here's a pic of my kids in their Halloween costumes (football player & cheerleader for my alma mater). I'll leave it up for a day or so before I pull it. Sorry it's kind of blurry, I'd just gotten a new lens the day before and hadn't gotten it down yet. Oh well. It was warm enough on Halloween that they could go out in just their costumes. Usually it's either snowing or in the 30's on Halloween so it was a pleasant surprise.
[Pic pulled...PM me if you missed it!]
Ashley - Cute kiddos! I can't believe how big they're getting!!
Lauren - Woohoo for getting the nesting urge. I always wish it would hit me, but it never has... Hahahaha... It's awesome that you guys do two nights of TorT. That would be nice for me since my work schedule is erratic and I'm always afraid I'll have to miss it. It would give me more chances to go.
Virginia - I hate those dreams. I've been having a lot of really vivid dreams lately, too. Your one about your brother reminds me of a sad story. I was talking to the manager of my pharmacy about our competitor pharmacy that I worked for as an intern. He knew all the pharmacists that I worked for at the time and informed me that the one woman's son has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. When I was there as an intern, he was just starting his first year of college, so he's probably only maybe 25 years old right now. He said he just went to use the bathroom one day and couldn't urinate... Went to the doctor to find he had a very aggressive cancer. SOOO sad. I'm so sad for them. She was very much a control freak and a bit hard to work for/with, but she was a VERY nice person and loved her children to death.. So it sucks to know they're going through that. Ugh...
Amanda - Nice quiet day in the office sounds nice. This week has been hell so far. Monday, our computers were down for HOURS, and we weren't able to bill any insurances (omg, nightmare). Then today, our cash registers were down most of the day. All we could do was take cash. If they wanted to buy anything from the store, we had to manually calculate the sales tax. We couldn't take any credit cards or checks. Ugh. PITA.
Molly - Hello! What did Madison dress as for Halloween?
AFM - Feeling like death tonight. I think it's mostly exhaustion from the last two hell-days at work and the fact that it was a late night followed by early morning. I just feel extra nauseated and tired. Ugh...

Lauren - Glad Xander enjoyed Halloween and he's getting lots of wear out of his costume.
Ashley - Hope the you feel better after the first trimester, it can be tough. I'm sure you are counting down the days. The ickyness is so worth it though.
The kids look adorable in their costumes. It's been a while since I've see pics of them when did they get so big?
Virginia - Yeah vivid dreams suck, I've had a few really disturbing ones, some got me out of bed to check on the kids.
Molly - Glad Madison got a little bit of trick or treating in before giving up.
Mary - Hope you feel better soon.

Cleaned my basement floors yesterday, I am reminded why I hate doing it, our rec room is so big it takes FOREVER! Have to do bathrooms tomorrow, I hate that more than the floors, I wish I could afford a maid.
Natalie has a cold and she was miserable from about 4:00 pm onward yesterday, crying at the drop of a hat. Still stuffy this morning but in a way better mood.
I do need to get Dana to clean her room more, OMG that kid is a SLOB! I wasn't the tidiest as a teen but things weren't nearly as bad as her room.
At work today, again it's quiet so no complaints.
