Congrats, Ashley! Cute bean. :)
Mary - GL telling work.
AFM: If I'm going to O on time I should start getting fertile signs soon. I'm already having trouble feeling optimistic about this cycle.
ETA: Ugh. Now I'm bleeding lightly again.

Virginia - Sorry about the eternal wonkiness of your cycle now. I think I likely would've dealt with something similar after my m/c, except I ended up pregnant and just bled through that instead. I hope you are able to get it all out of your system now so that you can enjoy a healthy, uneventful pregnancy next time.
Katie - I had to chuckle at your comment to the jerky guy at work, LOL. Enjoy that wine! That's one perk of putting off TTC, hahaha. I was actually driving home from work tonight, and I was thinking about wine (I have a lot of time to think now that I drive two hours each day, lol). And I was thinking, "OMG, just the thought of wine makes me want to barf right now..." Same goes for coffee. I normally NEED my coffee and drink probably too much of it, but right now, the thought makes me ill. Can't wait for m/s to subside.
Ashley - Adorable little bean!!! It's nice of your doc to let you come in once more before your trip so you can leave with fewer worries.
Hi everyone else!!
AFM - FINALLY done with my 11 days. I am so glad to get 3 days away from that place. Tomorrow, we're going to visit my family. My cousin (who is maybe 12?) is in a contest at school.. They each had to design their own catapult for a pumpkin and the contest is tomorrow. I guess he made his using a garage door spring (jeez) and he's all excited about it, haha. I figured Sean would get a kick out of it, so we're going with my parents to watch it.
And... We're going to tell our families this weekend. Ugh... I don't wanna!
ETA: I REALLY wish I knew when I actually O'ed. If I go by the u/s measurements, it corresponds to me O-ing on CD13. If I go by the EDD my OB gave me, it corresponds to O-ing on CD12. I had originally guessed that I O'ed on CD16, based on my earliest BFP's... I've always gotten the early super-faint BFP's on 9dpo with a more definite positive on 10dpo. Anyway, it's incredibly rare for me to O before CD14, so the u/s measurement and the OB's EDD for me have me a bit surprised. Maybe I really did O early?? If I O'ed on CD13 (the day the u/s measured to), then we DTD the day before and the day after O. Just trying to find out when the conception BD was, hahah.
Mary: :woohoo: on being done with your 11 day stretch! GL telling your families this weekend. AFA measurements go, maybe you just have a tall baby ;) or maybe the OB got a little generous with his measurement? They are measuring something so tiny with a point and click so it's definitely possible for them to be off (I've heard +/-3 days??). Anyway, better ahead than behind. I won't lie that my bean being 1-2 days behind what I thought makes me a *tiny* bit concerned. But like I said, it is so easy to be slightly off on the u/s.
Virginia: oh no :( I hope the bleeding stopped. If it helps at all, DS was conceived after a very strange AF. Hang in there!!
Lauren: hey there...sounds like you've been a busy bee! Get some rest lady. :)
Katie: ROFL, sorry you flipped out at work haha but I bet that wine made it all better. I'm such a grumpy a$$ by the end of the day lately that I feel bad for my poor DH and kids. Oh well. Good luck stalking on your BB...that helps curb it for a while! haha
Yesterday morning I woke up to about 4 inches of SNOW. UGH. I'm so not ready for this weather yet. It snowed a little more last night but can see my grass poking through so hopefully it'll melt off today. My kids played in the snow for a while and had a blast, it was really Dane's first time since he was so young last winter. I love that they have each other to play with now so I don't have to go out and play in the snow with DD and freeze to death ;)
Ashley - I'm guessing the measurement was off a tad maybe? It is an older machine. Although he did take several measurements and they were all consistent. I just really want to know the conception date! Hahah, I guess it doesn't really matter, but I'm just a big nerd like that.
4 inches of snow?!!? :WTF: I'm not ready for that just yet.
AFM - We told my parents today. They took it well. I think I saw the gleam of a tear in my mom's eye, hahaha. We're telling DH's parents tomorrow... Eek. He says they'll be happy, and I'm sure they will, but their reactions are generally pretty dry, hahaha. We'll see. I still haven't brought myself to tell the boss. Ugh.
Mary - yay for 11 days down and a few off and for telling parents. I think my mom will think we're coo coo for cocoa puffs when we go for 3 but she'll be happy too.
Ashley - snow?! UGH no thank you! Of course we're kind of in the path of this "frankenstorm" so who knows what the heck we'll have here this week
Virginia - Hope your body figures out what it's doing.
Mary - Yay for your days off! Glad your parents took it well, I am sure things will be fine with DH's side too.
Ashley - Yuck! Don't say the S word, we've been lucky enough to see none of it. Glad the kids had a goo time playing out in it though.
*AFM*
I really should be sleeping.
Had my injections today, they went way better than last time, I am going to try going back in 4 months instead of 3 this time, see if it still works as well. Did have one great thing happen while at the hospital, DH went to pay for my perscription (for the injections), it came to $8, it's been $180 every time I went this year so I am guessing our private insurance company changed their policies again thankfully for the better.
Yes Canada has free medical care but perscriptions aren't completely covered, if they can be used for cosmetic purposes they are not covered at all through our gouvernment, so that's why private insurance is good. Also private often covers eye care, dental, chiropractic, massage... stuff that public does not.
Amanda - Woohoo for cheaper prescription!! That's great! Glad your shots went better this time. I can't imagine having to get so many shots all the time.. Ugh.
Katie - I'm pretty sure everyone thinks we're coo-coo too, lol... I guess that's okay. Good luck with the "frankenstorm"... Eek.
AFM - Well, both sets of parents are aware and both seem happy, so that's good. DH is going to tell his sister tomorrow (over the phone since she lives so far away), then I'll probably make it "facebook official". This weekend hasn't been very relaxing, but it's been pretty good. I'm glad we're just staying around the house tomorrow. We went to an orchard with my parents yesterday and I bought a bunch of apples to make apple crisp tomorrow, yummm...
Well... I typed up and sent an email to the big boss about my pregnancy. Ugh... It was horrible, because I was basically apologetic for being pregnant. But you know... I know it's a huge burden to cover someone's shifts for 12 weeks, especially at my store which is in the middle of nowhere, you know? Not to mention, I knew about it before I interviewed for the job and I kept it secret. So ugh... Anyway, it's out there. No response yet, although I'm not surprised. I've been told he doesn't like to put things in writing (ugh). So anyway, I'm being as nice as humanly possible about it, so if he decides to be an a** about it, I'll just go back to work the minimum amount of time to keep the money I was paid for maternity leave, then I'll seek new employment. I'm feeling very worst-case-scenario about it all, so hopefully it won't be as bad as I've built it up to be.
OT - For those of you near the East coast, I hope you're staying safe from the crazy storm that is coming.
Mary - well glad you got it out there and it's all open. Like you say if it's an awful response you can always look elsewhere. I'm sure he won't be happy neither will my work but whatever!
Amanda - yay for chew meds!
AFM - I was away yesterday. A friend from college's wife arranged to have us all meet in NYC for his 30th. It was fun to see college friends. I got out relatively early today though b/c NYC is freaking out over the storm. We'll see if it hits us hard upstate. On a bright note Rory slept great for DH - it's easier to go away when Rory doesn't torture the hubs while I'm gone LOL
Katie - Glad you had a good time in NYC. I can imagine they're freaking out there... Eek! It sounds like one freakish storm. Glad to hear Rory was good while you were gone. :) You know, come to think of it, Calvin has been sleeping pretty well lately (knock on wood). I think he's finally cut all of his teeth except his 2-yr molars, so that's gotta help.
AFM - I have HORRIBLE hiccups right now. OMG, I think they're going to kill me. I'm still waiting on DH to tell his sister I'm knocked up so that I can make it "facebook official" hahaha... I have a lot of friends and family that I don't get to see much IRL that I'm looking forward to telling on there. :)
ETA: It's official... Facebook official, that is. LOL. And yet to me, it doesn't feel real. Oh, and I still have to tell the people at my store. Unless the big boss has already called the other pharm I work with to see if he already knew about this.
