Happy birthday Xander! Sean loves balloons too... I might get him a bunch for his next birthday, haha.

Katie - Sorry the work situation didn't pan out for your DH... Ohh well, more money never hurts, I guess.

Ashley - I hope the nausea doesn't get too bad for you.

AFM - A bit stressed tonighht. I've had a LOT of cramping, pressure down low, stabbing pains in my cervix, and discharge that is light brownish colored. I hope it's just residual effects of my pap on Monday, but who knows. I'm also not nauseated and no boob pain right now, so that makes me nervous too.

    Sean Thomas - 6/30/09 @ 7:17pm 8lb 8oz, 19", 40w5d
    Calvin Michael - 2/28/11 @ 7:39pm 6lb 8oz, 18", 37w5d
    Nolan Matthew - 5/1/13 @ 11:54pm 6lb 4oz, 19", 38w4d

Lauren: sounds like Xander had a great birthday! Sorry about the sciatic pain, ugh!

Mary: hopefully the discharge is just from the pap (I've had that happen too) and maybe you're on your way out with the m/s? 10.5 weeks is when mine started fading last time. Sucks that we can't just be happy that we feel decent but I completely understand.

I had a much better day today. Took some B6 with breakfast and lunch and that seemed to curb it significantly. Having pizza and Little Caesers crazy bread for dinner mmm! I need the carbs...right? Haha. I just wish I could wash it out with a icy cold beer!

Mary - I hope the cramping and discharge stop. I hope the lack of nausea is because your m/s is finally fading. It's about time for that! I had a ton of pressure at 10w with Alex and the Dr told me it was probably because the baby and sac and all were about the same size as a newborn head and were fitting low in my hips for that reason. It was super scary, though.

AFM: I'm doing better today. It was tough getting a definitive (for me) BFN on the 16th since it was 2 months to the days after the D&C and also the day i would have hit 18w. And the wait between a BFN and AF is the worst part of TTC. Just wasted time. Today my temp has dropped a bit and I'm spotting. I'm pretty eager for AF to show. And hoping it's nice and heavy (because that means it's less likely there's scarring from the d&c). I'm not too worried I'll be super stressed about m/c when I'm pregnant again. I should have betas and an early viability u/s, which I think will give me peace of mind.

Raymond told me yesterday "Mom, I have two brothers, but I want as many brothers as it takes to get a sister."

Lauren - Happy Belated Birthday to Xander! :cake Hope the pain is better today.

Mary - Thinking of you hope everything is alright with little bean.

Ashley - Good to hear the B6 is helping out.

Virginia - Here's hoping for AF to come soon so you can start a cycle again, if all is normal when is she due? Too funny of Raymond, maybe the next will be a girl.

    *AFM*

Just dealing with the normal puppy/preschooler stuff today.

Natalie and I made some bath crayons, can't wait to see how they turn out. I also made some sweet cinnamon popcorn, it's a tiny bit over cooked but still good.

Amanda - Bath crayons sound interesting... What does that entail?

Ashley - Can't beat a $5 pizza, haha! My DH LOVES them... He's always bugging me to pick one up on my way home from work. I like them too, but definitely have to eat them while they're hot and fresh, otherwise the cheese gets all congealed, haha.

Virginia - You sound more laid back than me about future pregnancies, haha. I am so worst-case-scenario. When I hadn't seen/heard the bean yet, I thought, "Maybe there's not a bean growing at all." Once I saw the bean on my u/s, I thought about my one friend who had a good u/s at like 9 weeks and miscarried like a week later. There is no relaxed pregnancy for this girl, lol.

AFM - Feeling better about things today. My CM is back to normal, clearish, less abundant. None of the crazy cramping/pressure. Maybe it was just "growing pains".

I'm a little late but HAPPY BIRTHDAY XANDER! I totally remember when you had him! Awwweeee

Ashley - glad you're feeling OK and B6 is helping

Virginia - I hope AF arrives and is normal!

Mary - I'm with you I'm an emotional basket case when preg. The first tri is my hell. And I have never been very sick so that does me no good Ugh!

Amanda - We've bought bath crayons never made them though, how'd they go?

AFM - not much excitement. I think I'm through my Oct ovulation LOL Every month is like a challenge to stay on the NOT TTC wagon LOL And all you preggos are no help But I'm on the other side, lots of O pains which is nice, good to know the body is working. And now Rory is STTN so I'm hoping my supply continues to relax!

Katie - Good job staying strong! Hahaha... I have no willpower. I have no idea what I'll do after this baby is born and we're supposed to be done. I'll probably try an IUD, I guess. I'm way too weak to trust myself with the birth control methods... Better to just stick an IUD in there and be done with it.

AFM - Day 5 of 11 at work tonight. I really screwed up yesterday. My boss called and asked me if I could work a double. I told him no, but thinking back, I should've told him I'd do it if I could get today off (or another day off to break up the 11 days in a row).

Mary: Sorry about the 11 straight! I'm making DH get the big V after #3. I've been in charge of BC up until now so it's only fair We're 100% sure we'll be done with three (unless I guess this one turned out to be 2..yikes). The only exception would be if I needed a c-section for some reason, then I'd have my tubes done. I'll probably get an IUD or BCPs just to be safe and for the other benefits.

Katie: Glad you made it through your O Good luck getting your supply to mellow.

Amanda: bath crayons sound like fun!

Virginia: that's adorable what Raymond said! Hoping you get that girl next so there's no pressure

The "big" race is tomorrow. I'll be so glad to have that under my belt. My BIL was giving me major sh** for not doing the full 100 because I've been training with them up until I got my BFP. He'll think I'm a wimp for another month but then he'll understand. Our stretch is only ~32 miles so it shouldn't be too bad at all but hopefully keeping moving will distract me from the nausea/headaches. My biggest issue is going to be eating before the race because I definitely can't eat what I normally eat biking because thinking about a ClifBar or Powerbar makes me want to hurl.

On a side note, after telling me NO WAY would he wait, my DH has decided he's leaving it up to me whether I want to find out this baby's gender. So much to think about...

Ashley - GL with the race! in your situation I think I'd wait to find out the gender. You have things for both genders and it can be a fun surprise.

Mary - I'm glad you're feeling better! BC is always a challenge. I don't know what we'll do after #4. Probably BF for a year then decide we want #5.

    Katie - GL avoiding TTC.

Amanda - If the bath crayons turn out well you'll have to share how you made them.

AFM: AF showed. This is pretty much normal timing. I honestly don't have a lot of data for "normal" cycles, but the 2 cycles between ending BC and conceiving Raymond my LPs were 13 and 15 days. This cycle it was 13 days. I feel kind of dumb for getting my hopes up about last cycle. I looked over my chart and up until O it was weird. I had almost daily spotting and around O I even made a note about having much less EWCM than normal.

Ashley - I'd totally wait if I were in your shoes! I've always loved the idea of keeping it a surprise, but at the same time, we're big on wanting to prepare. Since we already have two boys, I'd want to know if it was a girl so I could go out and buy some cute pink stuff. If it's a boy, I need to start organizing the clothes we already have.

Virginia - Happy CD1! I hope this cycle is better than the last!

AFM - I wish I could just go back to bed. I really hope I get some good news when I get to work. I doubt it, because the boss is super slow to make decisions on anything, but we recommended a change in our schedule that is really win-win for everyone involved. Our pay periods are 2 weeks long, so my mgr and I would both work a 6 day week and a 4 day week. We'd have one weekday off each week (the same weekday, either like a tuesday or a thursday that we'd have off every week). Then we'd work every other weekend. The girl who floats to our store and two other stores to fill in on our regular days off would only ever work M-F, no weekends. She's pretty disgruntled, hates the floater position, wanted my spot in my store, but I got it (yay!)... So giving her weekends off could be the perk to keep her happy with her otherwise pretty crappy position. I would not have this insane 11 day stretch anymore (hah, I thought my old 9-day was bad). The most we'd work in a row is 6. And perhaps the best part... We wouldn't have ANY "turn and burns" as we call them, where we work at night till 10pm and then have to be back at 8am. We'd have a week of late, followed by a week of early shifts.

But... The boss is kinda cruel from what I hear, he doesn't seem to like the floater girl, and he probably won't like the idea of a schedule that gives her weekends off. But my mgr and I don't mind working the weekends! Grrrrrr...
