That's the crappy part... I don't even get paid extra for it, because it spans over two pay periods. (we get paid in two-week cycles)

Boooo for the car accident. That sucks.

Ashley - Woohoo for an u/s tomorrow!!!

AFM - Nausea, nausea, nausea. And trying to figure out the best way to break the news to my new boss. Ugh. I dread it soooo much.

I'm glad everyone is doing well.

Ashley - GL with the u/s!

Mary - I can't believe you're 11 weeks. Your ticker is a little weird fro me because you conceived right around when I m/c, so sometimes I feel almost like it's counting that for me.

Katie - another December baby, maybe?

AFM: AF is gone. I'm not sure what to think. It was weird. TMI I'm used to 5-6 days (occasionally 7-8 days) going H, M, M, L, L, then spotting. This time CD1 was super heavy. Almost absurdly heavy. CD2 was H/M and CD3 was M. The it stopped. Yesterday I only had a little spotting. I never went through the brown fading I usually get. WTF? I have never had such a short AF, although before Raymond I used to run 4-5 days. I think I built a good lining because I had tons of red/black bleeding with clots, but the sudden ending has me puzzled. Maybe my body is working towards Oing early or something? Has anyone had an AF like this?

ETA: I'd like to get pregnant this cycle. If not, next cycle I'll likely O on my birthday. Which sounds nice, except that would give me an EDD 5 days before our family vacation. I guess I could bring a little baby, but that little? The kids adore the vacation (family owned lakefront house 2 hours away) and I really don't want to miss it, so if I don't get pregnant this cycle we're kind of planning to avoid next month... on my birthday. It's not a very easy decision. But, likely my body will push things a few days later, somehow, and we'll have to avoid.

Virginia - I'd probably avoid the family vacation month...a baby a few days old or worse being about to pop wouldn't make vacation very workable for me....hopefully you catch the egg this month and it's no issue!

Mary - UGH GL! Telling work SUCKS.

A girl on my BB is prego, our first post-baby BFP and she doesn't even know her EDD b/c she hasn't had a PPAF. I'm jealous LOL Oh baby fever....

Jumping in for just a bit...

CONGRATULATIONS to the preggos! I try to keep up with most of y'all on Facebook, but these pregnancies aren't FB official just yet! Ashley and Mary, I'm so excited for you!

Life is good. School is busy. Cooper will be 6m old on Thursday. Claire will be 2 on January 1st. It goes by SO fast.

Virginia - Sorry you had a confusing AF... I was hoping this one would be perfectly normal for you. I usually have that tapering off at the end too, so I'm not sure what the abrupt stop means. Maybe you just got the bulk of it out on day 1 when it was very heavy, so by the end, there just wasn't much left to taper off? Who knows.. Good luck this cycle! I think I'd probably pass on the following cycle too. Being due that close to vacation would make me nervous. My luck, I'd be in labor on the day we were leaving or something. Unless you don't mind possibly having to miss it..

Katie - Wow... Prego with no PPAF... Lucky girl! Hahaha.

Laura - Cooper is 6 months... Isn't it about time for you to get prego again?!!?!

    AFM - Work day 10 of 11. Almost there! I think I can, I think I can...

Mary - That's no fun, boo for no extra pay. Good luck breaking the news to your boss. Yay for surviving the long week so far, only 1 more day!

Virginia - I gave up on figuring out my cycles, my body just keeps doing weird stuff, with no medical reason, though I've never had a period that short.

Katie - That is odd that it took one year for the first BFP on a BB. That never helps baby fever.

Laura - Hello  Happy 6 months to Cooper.

    *AFM*

In the office today, just have some easy work to do, so it should be a low stress day. I also am in the office tomorrow, I normally don't work Thursdays, but I have to take Friday off for my injections, not looking forward to that.

Amanda - Woohoo for a low-stress day. I hope I have a low-stress night tonight. Last night was low-stress, but it was also very, very slow.. So the time went by super slowly and I was bored to death. I wouldn't mind being a little busier tonight, but still low-stress.

AFM - I guess we're planning to tell our parents this weekend. Ugh.. Is it bad if I dread it? I know it should be a HAPPY experience, but for some reason, I'm so stressed about it. I think mostly due to being stressed about telling work, but I'm also not looking forward to stupid people's stupid comments about "Don't you know what causes this?" and "Are you trying for a girl?" and "OMG, don't you have your hands full already?" Ugh. I can't deal with it.

Mary: I dread it too. DH wants to tell everyone like NOW. It gives me ulcers to think about it. We're going on that huge family cruise next month that we always do and I'm really hoping I can get away with not telling his extended family until after because of the same thing...I don't want to have everyone talking about it and giving me their 2 cents the whole trip. Ugh.

Laura: nice to see you Your kids are so dang cute, can't believe how old they're getting. It does go way too fast!

Amanda: sorry about the injections Friday, not fun!

Katie: oh dear, once one goes, they start coming fast! I wouldn't know as DS's BB completely got dissolved.

Virginia: I'm sure whenever it happens, you'll figure the rest out. You'll have 9 long months to change plans if necessary.

My OB appointment was this morning and things went great! HB was 144 bpm and s/he was measuring for EDD of June 11th. I came up with June 10th based on O day, so I'm not changing it unless I have another u/s with the same date. With DS, it changed back a day with my 2nd u/s. Anyway, since I'll be gone on the cruise in 4 weeks, he is letting me come in the week before to make sure everything looks good before I leave and I'll *most likely* get another u/s! Crossing fingers! Here's our bean!

He also gave me a prescription for Phenergan because I whined about being so nauseous and dizzy. The last two he basically said to tough it out because I wasn't puking so I was surprised. He must sympathize with my having to chase my other two around. Anyway, he says if it knocks me cold, he'll write me one for something else (presumably Zofran) next time, but says my insurance makes me try this first because Zofran is expensive. So I guess I'll have to try this in the evening because I've heard people pretty much pass out on it!

Mary and Ashley - I totally don't want to tell people about #3 when the time comes. Work is going to think I'm the perpetual PITA on maternity leave and I know we'll also get the comments on trying for a girl, or when we will stop, how many more etc etc etc Oh well, what can you do? Another girl on my BB (which is actually a FB group now not a BB) is TTC so at least there's more to stalk

Love the bean pic! YAY BABY

I went a little postal on a group at work today. I'm in a pilot program for a new system and I understand it creates extra work and I've tried to be really up beat and supportive but today it created rework for the bazillionth time and I lost it. I think it's squared away now and the guy who was being a jerk actually apologized -- at one point I looked at him and told him rather than respond I was walking away because I had nothing productive left to say to him (he can be exceptionally arrogant and treats people like they are stupid and since this error fell squarely on HIM he was being rather snarky to deflect). He did apologize which I appreciated but it was a frustrating day. I'm enjoying my glass of wine !

Just popping in real quick to say I'm all caught up, but we're visiting family all this week so I can't really do personals... I'm on our iPad and it's a huge pita to type a lot on...

We're all good. I'm exhausted! So much shopping and errands! I need to sleep for a week. Lol
