Virginia - Glad you guys are doing okay! I saw on fb that Erica is okay and didn't lose power. I wonder how Katie is doing..
Beautiful OPK! Looks like your body is figuring it out again.

Amanda - I'm concerned about Halloween weather too. It's supposed to be cold and wet.. ugh. I know Sean would love it. Calvin would probably enjoy it too, so I really don't want to have to keep them inside due to weather.

Molly - LOL, I'd have no clue what to do with a girl at this point, hahaha...

    AFM -
Well, I haven't heard any response from the big boss about me being pregnant, but I did have a missed call on my phone last night that I believe was from him, and it came 5 minutes after my shift ended at 10pm. I didn't get to talk to him because I apparently had my phone on silent, so I'm curious as to what he's thinking. Today, I told the manager of my pharmacy, the guy I actually work with every day, so his opinion should be more important... And he was SUPER supportive. He was very willing to flex the schedule as needed for my OB appointments, told me he'd try to eliminate the late nights followed by the early mornings from the schedule, and we are going to eliminate the incredibly long weeks from our schedule like my 11-day week last week. I told him I was concerned that after my leave, the big boss would ship me off to "abu dhabi", and he said... "We ARE in abu dhabi." Hahaha... It was very true... I've been so consumed with fear that he's going to ship me off somewhere else that I forgot to think that I am in the store that no one else wants to go to (because it's in the middle of nowhere). He told me I'm an asset to have in that store, and that the big boss won't mess with that. I thought that was nice, and it made me feel better about it all.

I'm glad telling your manager went so well, Mary!

I hope Katie is doing okay, too. I realized this afternoon that a tree fell just behind our house, too. It's also on a neighbor's yard, thankfully. I cleaned up a bunch of branches and leaves and things are getting back to normal.
Our Halloween is supposed to be warmer than normal but it might rain. Everyone take pictures! I want to see lots of costumes and jack-o-lanterns.

I'm just fine It was really very anticlimactic upstate. The city got pounded but we were pretty much untouched. Unlike Irene where it was supposed to hit the city and wound up flooding upstate and VT this one really did hit NYC. On the bright side my sister (Upper East Side Manhattan) never lost power and is simply enjoying not being able to get to work LOL

Mary - glad your immediate boss is good with it! It will be fine, your big boss will just have to deal!

Virginia - GL catching the egg!!!

Virginia - The pee stick looks good, now hopefully next one is a HPT that pretty.

Mary - Glad your manager was cool with your pregnancy, the US has the one benefit for employers that maternity leave is only 3 months and not 1 year like here in Canada. Bit of a bummer for parents.

Katie - Glad you didn't get hit hard. They were telling Ontario to be prapared but so far all we've really seen is a bit of extra rain, similar to a normal spring here.

I'm working today, DH's department at work is having a lunch and then he is taking off early so he'll be home nice and early for Halloween.

I'll be sure to get the halloween pictures up at some point.

Katie: glad things are okay for you and your sis! I was wondering about you w/the storm.

Amanda: looking forward to some Halloween pics

Virginia: great line!! Lots of catch those eggy vibes for you. And hoping it doesn't rain on you guys tonight...we are having absurdly nice weather here, usually it's like a blizzard or freeeeeezing on Halloween, but it's a great day. Weird. Guess the "big guy" can only send so much bad weather at once

Mary: glad telling your manager went so well. I hated telling work the one time I had too even though my boss was a family friend and knew it was coming sooner or later. Hopefully your big boss will be supportive too when you finally hear from him.

Hey everyone else. Sounds like everyone back east made it through okay...?

I was able to find baby's HB on my doppler today I tried Monday with no luck, but while the kids were napping today I gave it another shot and after 15 minutes or so (and about to give up) I found it! I went to get my phone to use the stopwatch to get a BPM and then it took forever to find again, but I figured 177 BPM. We are telling our parents tonight or tomorrow so that made it feel a little "safer" to do it. I will for sure get some Halloween pics up too

Ashley - YAY for a HB! GL telling family.

Amanda - hope Halloween was good!

We had a parade at daycare which was cute then we went over to my mom's and trick or treated her house and her neighbors who I grew up with. They had little presents for the boys. It was cute. But by 7 both boys were exhausted. They have colds so I didn't want to mess too much with bed time. Both slept really well last night though -- Rory went 8-12 ate at 12 and went from 12:30-8am i think he needed it. Now if I can get them to nap today we'll be in good shape.

OK TMI so ignore if you want lol but I have AF right now and it was really my first very normal cycle post-rory. It was 31 days (the previous two cycles were only 28 which is short for me), I had a lot of O pains etc etc. But it is so HEAVY. Yesterday it actually made me a little nervous and i'm not typically one to worry about medical things. Today it seems less concerning but still very heavy (and I'm not typically light). I'll probably just keep an eye on it for a couple cycles but it definitely made me a little nervous yesterday. Anyone have more PP experience to offer insights? Maybe just a fluke?

Ashley - Yay for a HB!

Katie - With me wonky cycles were normal after having kids, never knew what sort of AF I was in for. Hope that's all it is with you, odd cycles.

Dana has a tournament this weekend so I am in the office working today. Bit frustrated with my laptop (it's my work machine) cause the space bar isn't working right any more.

Natalie had fun trick-or-treating we only did two blocks before she was "done" I figured I could get her to go to a few more houses since we had to walk 2 blocks home but she was having none of it, though one lady who was handing out candy in her garage was happy to come out and give us the candy when we walked by.

Dana decided to stay home and hand out candy, her choice, she seemed ok with that but wants to go out next year, so we'll see.
