Lauren - Woohoo for your DH taking over Xander duty, haha. A break is ALWAYS good.

Katie - I hope the kids napped for you. Sean almost never naps anymore, but Calvin still does... His naps have been getting later and later, but he actually took his at a GREAT time today... So hopefully he should be tired by bedtime.

AFM - Feeling terrible. I give up on ever feeling well again. I sent DH and Sean to the grocery store.. We usually all go together, but I feel too ill. So Calvin and I stayed home and are watching Little Einsteins, haha. OMG, I'm dying. Is it 2nd tri yet? Tomorrow is my u/s.

YAYYY u/s! I'm excited for you!

Rory finally slept for like an hour on me and Evan hasn't at all.

"We're going on a trip in our favorite rocket ship...." I know it well and I have no pregnancy as an excuse I'm just lax about TV Report me to the parenting police...

Hahaha, good.. Me too. That makes me feel better, hahha. It's DEFINITELY worse when I feel like crap, though. Ugh. I'm having my worst day in a while. Maybe my worst day this whole pregnancy. Thank goodness for no work or other obligations today. I've barely gotten off the couch, haven't even changed out of my PJ's all day. Although, I'm about to go soak in a warm bath, so that ought to be nice. I am MISERABLE. 9.5 weeks, this has to start to decline soon, right? I can't remember if I mentioned it, but I gave my up zofran ban. I can't live without it, lol. I'm just taking stool softeners (made DH buy me some that weren't expired... I realized mine expired in 2010.. pharmacist fail, LOL). I'm taking a fiber supplement and extra water... Just hope it helps. I can't handle the nausea, though.

10dpo and, well... BFN. Normally I'd have a BFP today. But, my temp jumped and I feel like crap. So, I'm either pregnant or sick. And my FMU was pretty weak because I was up so much last night (unable to sleep, ravenous and nauseous, needing to pee, thirsty, etc for hours on end). What a way to start the week.

Virginia - sorry you're feeling crummy and sorry about the BFN today. Though I always got a BFN on 10dpo. I know you didn't with your other pregnancies, but they do say every pregnancy is different... Don't completely give up hope yet.

Mary - sorry you're feeling so miserable. *hugs* I'm sorry you have to work for 11 days now, that really seriously sucks. Hopefully that doesn't happen again.

Katie - I've become very lax with TV since becoming pregnant. I wasn't a stickler about it before or anything, but we definitely watch a lot more now.

AFM - I totally overdid it deep cleaning my bathrooms yesterday and paid the price. I started getting horrendous cramping in my lower uterus, so I laid down. After an hour or so of that I got a ton of BH contractions, so that sucked! I was finally able to get them to stop, though. I think I was getting too worked up about it and was bringing them on just with my anxiety. Because I finally made myself a cup of tea and forced myself to calm the frick down, and then they stopped. I guess I was just reminded that the third trimester is the time to take it easy! No more deep cleaning for me - just surface cleaning. DH said he's officially on vacuuming/mopping duty (I vacuumed the other day and it about killed me) and I'll get him to deep clean the bathrooms a few times. I can handle the surface cleaning, but every so often you really have to scrub those dang things down! heh. Then once I hit 38 or so weeks I'll let myself go crazy with the cleaning. hahaha. I'll have to because although my DH says he'll do these things, honestly I'll be lucky if he does it ONCE before the end of my pregnancy. Sometimes I'll start vacuuming and HAVE to stop, so I'll ask him to finish (this is on a sat or sun) and the vacuum will literally sit in the middle of the floor for a week until I give up and do it myself. But hopefully now that he watched me collapse on the couch and start having contractions he'll take it seriously.

Virginia - Those sound like good signs, and holy moly, look at that temp jump!! Strange that you got a BFN.. I hope it turns positive!

AFM - First appointment today! I thought this day would NEVER come, lol... I've been waiting for it forever, it seems... I scheduled it over a month ago. DH isn't going with me. I'm a little sad about it, but also a little relieved. We would have to take the boys with us, and that's just too much craziness, ya know? He's definitely going to come with me to the BIG u/s. I'm not sure if we'll take the kids or get one of our parents to come watch them. I'd like to take Sean, because I think he's at the age where he might be able to loosely grasp the concept... When I was listening to the hb, he asked, "Is that a little baby growing in there?" I've never taught him anything like that, so he somehow put 2 and 2 together there... I'd like to show him the u/s so that he can sort of prepare for the new baby. But Calvin has no clue, ya know... So anyway, not sure what we'll do for the BIG one, but I guess we have a couple months to figure it out.

ETA - Lauren - We were apparently typing at the same time, haha. That's crazy about all those BH. You had a lot of them with Xander, too, didn't you? I hope your DH picks up some of the slack for you so you can take it easy. We need to keep that baby baking!

    take it easy, Lauren!

    GL with your u/s, Mary.

AFM: I know it's early, but I really feel like I'm out. I felt really pregnant early on, but this feels more like getting sick. I had a bunch of ovary pain even after O, which is odd for me, so maybe something weird happened with ovulation (no fertile signs since then, though). I'll test tomorrow, but I'm not holding out much hope. I really hope we have better luck next cycle because after that we'll need to take a break for at least one cycle, maybe more. Our lease will be up the end of next summer and we probably should move. The place we're renting has a lot of issues which are getting annoying (like that the downstairs bathroom is pretty much uninsulated which sucks in the winter). And I don't really want to be having a baby while we're packing/moving.

Oh now why not? LOL. I moved when I was about 20 weeks with Sean, and if I have it my way, we'll move during this pregnancy too, hahaha. That said, it's a gigantic PITA, but then again, when isn't it a PITA to move? I just really, really, really want to move now. I've done one week of long commutes to work, and I already want to shoot someone. I wish I had the spare time (and energy) to really buckle down on packing up stuff and getting this house on the market. I'm scared to think of how long it might take to sell this place. Some houses in our neighborhood have sold really quickly, while others have been on the market FOREVER. I suppose it's just about getting the price right...

oh, I've moved while pregnant. 3 times. I moved at 24 weeks with Raymond, 30 weeks with Alex, and 9 weeks with Oliver. That last was by far the worst. But, I'd rather not be, oh, 36 weeks. Or have a 2 week old or something. And I'd rather not have another December baby, either (we already have 3 birthdays and Christmas in a 4 week span!) But, if we get there and I'm not pregnant yet I might just go for it, given that I'd be around the EDD from the m/c.

ETA: I totally missed the obvious. We could always move earlier. Yeah, it could mean being on the hook for a couple months of rent, but that might be worth it. Then we'd be able to try for late July, late Sept, late Oct, late Nov... and I darn well better be successfully pregnant by then. The thing which really sucks is the O we will have to avoid will likely be right around my birthday.

Mary - Hope the "morning" sickness goes away soon. I skipped watching the guy jump live, had too much to do, did watch it on the internet, that was pretty cool.

Hope the appointment goes well, yeah it would be difficult deciding on bringing the kids.

Lauren - Good to hear that you got kid break. Yay for getting cleaning done, but you should take it easy, but I do understand the whole DH not doing deep cleaning.

Virginia - Sorry about the BFN, maybe because of the miscarrage your cycle is off, don't count yourself out till AF shows.

    *AFM*

Apollo Is a Sheltie/Border Collie mix, could be a smooth coat in there. We let him roam the main floor of our house (it's a bungalow so lots of space) when we went out on the weekend it went successfully, no accidents or chewed furniture, toys, electronics, etc... We are trying a full day today while at work. If he starts doing well with that we will open up the basement while home see how he does with access to that area, our concern with the basement is we have cat boxes there and dogs love getting into that, the female cat won't use a covered litter box so a cat door is out of the question, so it's a matter of training a dog.

Saturday we had our belated Thanksgiving with DH's family, had a few hitches in the meal, and usual drama with DH's mom and oldest niece, but overall it was good, it seems everyone enjoyed themselves. His grandparent's from his mom's side came and it's always nice to see them .

Sunday we did our usual weekly grocery shopping, also went and got Natalie some fall/winter clothes. We then went to Dana's hockey, which didn't go too well, Dana said she was hungry so was having trouble focusing, let some bad goals in. After hockey we had dinner and then I cleaned out Nat's closet of the clothes she out grew, have an entire garbage bag filled of size 2 kids clothes.
