Amanda: good luck training Apollo. Keeping dogs away from kitty litter is a pain. Nice work on cleaning out Natalie's closet...I'm about due for that too!
Mary: how did your u/s go?!? I'm also kind of torn on when to talk to my kids (mainly DD who is old enough to get it somewhat).
Virginia: did you test today??
Lauren: sorry about the pain after you cleaned. BTDT. I was overexerted myself trying to go into labor with my DS the last 2 weeks and all I got was tons of painful cramping that did squat to my cervix. Oh well. Keep that little one baking
We got back from the lake late last night. Of course, Brekke has school pictures today and OF COURSE she had to get a huge scab on her face while we were on the trip.I was thinking at least she could do make up pictures but they are the week of Thanksgiving and we'll be on a cruise. AND we have family pictures this Friday and I'm sure it'll still be there. It's about the size of a dime right on the side of her nose...she ran into a rope that was anchoring the boat and gave her a pretty good "burn" scrape. So oh well, at least I am fairly competent in Photoshop! My nausea is still cropping up randomly. My bike race is Saturday so I'm really crossing my fingers that it won't get worse before then!
Amanda - Glad to hear your TG was overall pretty good, minus some drama. I need to go through the boys clothes and pack away some things they've outgrown. I won't get rid of them yet, in case this is another boy. I don't know if I could bring myself to get rid of them yet anyway... I'm such a sentimental fool.
Virginia - Any AF or BFP yet?
AFM - Say hello to my little bean! I didn't know when I ovulated, so I was guessing EDD of about May 15th. The doctor said the bean measured to EDD of May 12th, and so he's just sticking with my LMP date which put us at May 11th. So I guess I get to move my ticker ahead a few days, woohoo!I was a little disappointed because they have a great u/s machine with high resolution and the ability to do 3D in the office, but the doc did the u/s himself on the crappy 1980's machine in the back, lol. So the picture isn't as good, but I could see the little bean moving his/her arms and legs around, and got to see the little hb.

Awww! so cute! I love the hands up near the face.Congrats again, Mary!
Nope, still a BFN for me, so it's not happening this cycle. Now I have the incredibly annoying wait for AF. I'm guessing she'll show Friday or Saturday.

It's just so frustrating. For the past 2 1/2 months I've kept telling myself (and sometimes other people offering me sympathy) that it's not that big a deal because I get pregnant easily, so I'll be pregnant again soon. But it sure doesn't feel that way right now. I wish I were almost 20 weeks and finding out baby's gender right now instead of waiting for AF to show.

Yeah, that's the suckiest part of the m/c process... Knowing that you should be meeting all those little milestones. Blaaahh.. I hated not knowing if/when I'd be pregnant again, also. I got lucky and got pregnant quickly again, but then I went through all that bleeding that was like psychological torture. Pregnancy is never the same again..![]()
Ashley - Just get the pic with the scab, kids are kids and the pictures will be cute either way.
Mary - Yay for getting an US, cute bean there.
Virginia - Still going to say you aren't out till AF shows.
*AFM*
Decided to gate the furnace room in the basement and let Apollo have free roam, he's stuck near me for the most part. He did get into a bit of trouble today cause Natalie left stuff lying around, he ate a player piece to her Monopoly Jr. game and bit into a glow bracelet, that was a bit funny cause they taste bad and his reaction was priceless, thankfully they are non-toxic so it shouldn't be a biggie.
Other than that not much excitement around here.

Amanda - GL with the litter training - that's a tough one! He sounds like a super bright pup though!
Ashley - sorry about the scab but it will be a memory
Mary - YAYYYYYY! Ohhh little bean! I'm so excited for you! And jealous
Virginia - Sorry about the BFNm/cs ruin pregnancy and TTC. I am almost conditioned to think I'll m/c before being able to get preg and it sucks. I hope you get your BFP asap!
Lauren - take it easy!
AFM - Well DH is going to stay FT. His work was having second thoughts and it was getting complicated. He's not happy but accepting it. And overall if it really doesn't work we can live on just my salary but honestly I think the boys do better with some daycare and we're happier when we have dual income. So we'll make it work. In brighter news my baby still sleeps. Really I can't get over it. Last night he totally STTN in his crib with out a single tear. My mom was joking that we must have had him exorcised the difference really is that remarkable and the change totally over night.

Glad he is doing so well!
Virginia: so sorry this cycle didn't pan outMaybe your body just needed another cycle to be ready? I'm sure it'll happen very soon for you.
Her preschool teacher said the exact same thing about it being a memory lol. Nausea was on/off yesterday, I swear I was a week farther along last time when I started feeling like this. Hmm. I have some acupressure wrist bands I got from BabySteals and they seem to be curbing it but its hard to say. Figure it can't hurt! Coffee sounded horrible yesterday and no caffeine + pregnancy exhaustion=me almost passing out on the couch. Right up until Dane crawled up on me and started bouncinghaha I made myself go run yesterday and it did give me a temporary energy boost but then by bedtime I was dead! I'm hoping to go for a bike ride today (depending on if my mom can babysit for a bit). I can't wait for this bike race to be over because it's just hanging over my head right now.
Mary - awwww look at that little bean!!!!
Virginia - sorry about the bfn.
Ash - sorry about the exhaustion and nausea. I can't decide if that's worse or later on in the third tri is worse......... I usually just think the one I'm in at that moment is the worst. hahaha.
Amanda - glad Tgiving went well. Also glad Apollo did pretty well with free roam.
Katie - sorry DH has to stay FT. Bummer.
AFM - my baby is THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE today!!! I cannot believe he's 3 years old already! How is that even possible?! We've had a pretty good day. We blew up a ton of baloons for him to kick around, so he's been having a blast with all of those. I made him a Mickey Mouse head shaped chocolate chip pancake for breakfast, which he thought was the coolest thing ever. And we made cupcakes to frost later on after his nap. He loves helping me in the kitchen, so he was in toddler heaven. haha.
I, however, am having some serious sciatic nerve pain today! It's never been this bad! I'm definitely doing yoga once the kiddo goes down for his nap! I can hardly move at times, which is fun when your kid wants you to sit on the floor and "play balloons" with him. *sigh* Hopefully the yoga helps, and I'm sure it will a little, but honestly for the last week it hasn't fully gone away no matter what I've done (and I workout almost every day, even working including lots of stretches for sciatic nerve pain). It's just that point in pregnancy. Ugh! I also can't sleep anymore, I just can't get comfortable, so then I'm SO tired all day. Anyway, part of me wonders if I popped something out of alignment in my spine, so I think I'll get a doctors note to go see one at my next appt in 1 1/2 weeks. That's a little while to wait, but I'd rather have insurance cover most of the chiro appt. Until then I'll just keep stretching.
