    Default September Chat Thread!

Oops, I've been posting in August today. Happy September! I love this month... We celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary this month, and I generally love the weather in September.

Lots of good things coming up this month.

I was googling FRER progressions because I am certifiably insane, and I found one of Virginia's pictures that she had posted here on the boards, haha. Thought that was kinda funny. I used my final HPT today, and I'm so happy and relieved to have them out of the house because they make me crazy. Being that it's my last pregnancy, I really just want to enjoy it and not be overcome with worry. Maybe I'll post a picture of my final progression today. I think I'm probably 12dpo.

I posted some responses in the August thread... Can't believe fall is here already where did the summer go?

Natalie's school goes back to their regular program next week, she has the same teacher as last year which is great she's a wonderful lady and Natalie learns a lot from her.

Dana is hyped to go back to school, she can't wait to see who her teacher is and see her friends and if they are in her class. It's crazy that she is in her last year in elementary school (grades 1-8 here) and will move on to high school next year.

It's the labour day long weekend here, yesterday DH and I groomed Sadie and we did groceries. Today we are going to run a few errands and pick up Dana's hockey equipment then go to Canada's Wonderland for the afternoon/night since they have a fire works show.

Amanda - How is it possible that Dana is going to be in HS next year?!?!!? Time goes by way too quickly, oh my goodness.

AFM - Here's my FRER progression over the past 4 days. They were all FMU's except the first (faintest) one was 3:30pm. I didn't have a FMU from that day (or maybe I did and threw it away because it was nearly invisible.

I am so, so, soooooo glad that I don't have anymore HPT's left. I'll just leave it at that. The lines appear to be getting darker, and if they're not, it's out of my control anyway.

Ugh... Feeling sad for a friend today. She recently lost her baby girl, 4 months into pregnancy. She's the photographer who did our wedding. She said she had a meeting scheduled last week with a bride to deliver her wedding photos, and she called and cancelled with the lady because her unborn baby died, and offered to mail them to her instead. The bride got PO'ed and quoted the part in the contract to the effect that she'd be LATE in delivering her pictures. I couldn't believe it. I had a coworker attack me in a similar way when I was going through my m/c. Unbelievable how cold-hearted and self-centered people can be... Grrrrrr.......

Oh my goodness, Mary, congrats! Sending lsot of sticky vibes. I'm a bit jealous, but I guess that's the be expected. At least we'll be TTC again soon. I would say I can't wait to get another BFP, but I'm still getting them daily.

Erica - go for it! 4 months between in fine. Join the TTC club!

I read everything, but... super busy unpacking from vacation, getting the boys ready to start school, trying to clean the house, etc.

AFM: Our vacation was awesome. We took the older boys on a long canoe trip (5+ miles), but they didn't have to do any work. We also took them up a small mountain. 3 miles round-trip with a 700ft elevation change. And they both made it! They got to play in the water every day (Oliver didn't like it much), got some kayaking with us, roasted marshmallows, and Raymond and I slept out in a tent one night.
really as AFM, bleeding has finally almost stopped. I've been testing out my HCG and I'm still getting positives, but they're down to looking like maybe 14dpo, so progress is being made. I get to go in and have it tested again this week. But, I'm already getting sore ovaries and we definitely haven't been preventing,so who know what will happen. I've gotten a little more bummed about the whole situation. It's weird thinking I "should" be 12 weeks.

    Thanks Karen.

Virginia - Your vacation sounds great! Sorry the HCG is still on-going, blaaah. Has your DH had much to say about the whole m/c experience?

AFM - Just the usual post-BFP freak-out here. I wish I had a switch to just turn off my worries and concerns. This is most likely my last pregnancy and I really just want to enjoy it. It's so hard to block out the trauma of the m/c and the bleeding during Calvin's pregnancy though. I'm a sucker for punishment, apparently. Why can't the entire 9 months be like the 3rd trimester. I love the 3rd trimester. The belly is big and beautiful, the baby kicks and moves, you can know the sex if you want to... I'd love to go team green for our last baby, but I've never been able to stay strong, so I really doubt I will this time either.

Other thoughts... I'll be pretty much exactly 12 weeks on Halloween. I was thinking of making one of those skeleton costumes with baby skeleton in the belly for my "official" facebook announcement. I'll be almost exactly 20 weeks at Christmas, so we could theoretically learn the sex as a Christmas present.

I really hope this pregnancy goes well.
