No fertile signs yet, so it might be a bit of a wait. I figure we should have two good shots at summer, late June and late July. We'll have to avoid late August and after that we'll see. Hopefully I'll get pregnant again in the next couple months.

Oh, and I've been continuing my insane cleaning spree. I've spent at least 6 hours each of the past 3 or 4 weekends (I've lost count) trying to get the clutter under control. I felt so useless when I was sick, exhausted, and with the house was a mess. I need to get it under control while I have the chance.

Awesome work on the de-cluttering. I wish I had done that. I feel like utter crap now, and there's no way I can clean anything. It'll be all I can do to make it through the next few weeks, I fear. Coincidentally, our house is a disaster. I want to purge everything and live as a minimalist.

Virginia - Good luck with getting preggo, sending lots of fertility and sticky vibes.

Mary - I am totally with you on the minimalist thing. Kinda getting sick of all the clutter and stuff EVERYWHERE!

My family has had thanksgiving for the past 10 years on the Saturday, I made a Facebook group for my mom to let everyone know about it. My sister comes on and says that she has a race that day (she races remote control cars) but she would be there, implying that the race was more important but if time allows she'd be there. I was not happy and just told her how selfish it is and she got pissed at me, still don't think I am wrong. I've caught flack from my mom plenty of times for Dana's hockey which I even get annoyed with (already told DH several times I really don't like Rep hockey), I've also heard my mom complain about her siblings when they make excuses for being late or not showing, yet my sister some how gets away with that stuff. Though I am wondering if the nastiness my sister aimed at me is partly because of my mom she may have actually told her off, because she always does it on the Saturday. Guess we can't plan a family dinner without some sort of drama.

    On a more positive note.

DH and I left the girls at home tonight (Dana babysat Nat, YAY 13 year olds!) and we went out to see Dredd 3D, I thought it was an absolutely fantastic movie, visuals were great, loved the action, and the story was good too. It was quite violent so if you are squeamish with blood and disturbing material it is not the movie for you. Also I'll warn you if you have a fear of heights there are a couple of scenes in 3D that might make you uncomfortable (they did to me). It was a good night, glad I got to get out and see the movie.

Virginia - glad you're feeling well and cleaning! I'm hoping for a super fast BFP for you!

Mary - I totally hear you on the clutter! I'm trying to imagine the house after 2 bdays and Christmas and I'm not sure where we're going to put it all! I don't mind toys around I'm hardly a neat freak but I do feel a bit like the walls are closing in with the huge amount of toys!

Amanda - yay for Dana babysitting and a night out! I just asked my mom to babysit for us in Nov so I could get DH tickets to Wicked for his bday. It's coming to a local theater and I've wanted to see it. Nights out are fun

AFM...yesterday we bought a Highlander. I feel like it was a bit spur of the moment but I've been debating cars for YEARS. I keep track of deals here and there and realized Friday that the Highlander 2012 models were being offered with 0% for 60 months. I've seen it for 48 months a number of times and 0.9 or 1.9 but 0 for 60 is pretty rare. The other larger SUVs and vans were all higher. Our local dealership which I like a lot had exactly what I wanted on the lot - leather interior, blue tooth, moonroof. So we bought it. The Highlander isn't huge, the 3rd row of seats basically is in the truck area so usually it will be collapsed. But they are there for friends, a 3rd kid etc and with 0% interest if we had a 3rd and really decided we had to have something bigger we'd owe basically what the car was worth b/c we're not paying any interest. I pick it up Tuesday! I'm so excited. I have had 2 cars in my life and both were very much base models. The car I traded is a Hyundai Tuscon and it served me well in 7 years and 121,000 miles it has needed nothing but oil changes, brakes and tires but it was time to retire it.

Today is my rescue group's alumni picnic. So the boys and a couple dogs DH and I are going to play with the other adopters SHould be fun, if the kids can behave LOL

Katie - Yay for the new car, I don't drive but DH has a Civic Sedan, we started with a Hyundai Excel we had it for the last two years of it's life, we are on our third Civic Sedan since then, all of them one level above base. DH wants a different car next time, hoping we can afford something nicer for him, my only requirement is 4 doors.

    Have fun at the picnic.

DH had finished making breakfast earlier so I had to run.

I was checking my e-mail this morning and I got a message from Today's Parent Magazine, odd thing was it was giving me a pregnancy update saying I was 5 weeks pregnant and giving details about the progress. I'm not pregnant and even if I was I wouldn't know till about 6 weeks since I would wait until 2 weeks after my period (because of odd cycles). I was on their website looking at what to expect from a 3 & 1/2 year old so I wonder if I just clicked something by accident. It did make me have a bit of baby fever though having a puppy in the house remedied that quick.

Today Dana has a hockey game other then that no plans other then doing some laundry and tidying up.

Amanda - Booo for family drama. At least you got to enjoy a good night out! I guess there are perks to having a bigger age gap between your kiddos, haha.

Katie - Woohoo for a new car! 0% for 60 months is unheard of! That's awesome! It's like you're literally paying no interest, assuming that most people pay it off in the 60 months. That's great. I can't wait to have our van paid off. If I wasn't saving up all of our extra money with plans to move out of here, I'd totally just pay it off now. I'd love to have all that extra money each month.

AFM - Feeling a little better today. The nausea and exhaustion was pretty bad yesterday... I seriously stayed in my PJ's all day. Took a nap for like 2-3 hours midday. I've at least managed to get a shower today, lol. I dread work tomorrow.

ETA: relief from feeling like crap was short-lived. ughhh.....

I've had one of *those* days today... One of those days where I'm too concerned about m/c. I think it will be a good thing for me to get back to work tomorrow. The last few days since we've been home from Michigan have mostly been lazy days, and I think I have too much time on my hands to worry and analyze. I was doing alright today until the dog jumped on my belly. I know realistically that my uterus is still well-protected by my pelvis, the baby is still teeny tiny and hidden under layers of muscle, fat, and flesh... But it's hard not to worry, and I've felt crampy since. *Sigh* The first trimester is the devil. I know the worry is never really gone. I still worry about them plenty after they come out, but the first trimester is especially evil. I can't wait until it's done. Or at least until I can get my ultrasound. It's not for another three weeks from tomorrow. Ugh...

Mary - sorry about the worrying, I hope work takes your mind off of things. I've had plenty of dog/toddler jumping on my belly mishaps over the last 26 weeks! haha

Katie - YAY new car!! That's awesome to have 0% interest for that long!!

Amanda - glad you and DH got a night out.

Virginia - YAY for AF being over and a negative hpt.

AFM - DH took off of work last week, so we were busy bees going all over the place. I hardly got any cleaning done! You'd think I would get more done since he was here, but no... I didn't. haha. Oh well. We did at least get all our Fall stuff put up! Xander had a blast putting those gel decal thingies on the windows. I love how they're all at the very bottom of the window and upside down and stuff. ha!

I didn't even realize it til Mary said so, but OMG I'm in double digits! Only 97 days to go! It's almost time for the third trimester! EEK! It's crazy how fast time is flying!

Lauren - Decorating sounds like fun. I need more decorations. I don't have many, other than for Christmas. I LOVE them, but I just don't have any, then I'm always too cheap to buy them. I need to start shopping those after-season clearances or something, hahaha. Maybe I'm just shopping at the wrong places or something, but I love all the seasonal stuff in the craft stores, but I just can't see spending 20-30 dollars for one decorative pumpkin or something, ya know?

AFM - I just spoke to my manager in the new store. I'm officially starting there October 8th. He said there's a rumor going around that they're planning to re-district some stores. Our store is a strange one because it's out in the middle of nowhere. It USED to be in my current district with my boss that I LOVE until about 3 years ago, then it got shifted to a different district with the boss that everyone seems to really dislike. So, fingers crossed that the rumors are correct and I'll get shifted to stay with my same boss!!
