Jen - Good to hear Sam is close to STTN, I am sure you are enjoying the quiet.

Good luck with the NFP, I couldn't do it I'd end up preggo a month in, LOL.

Katie - Glad to hear that the work stuff is all falling into place. I still have a year to decide but am debating if I should go back full time once Natalie starts kindergarden.

Mary - Sounds like a fun trip. Sorry to hear the nausea is getting worse.

    *AFM*

A lot has happened in a week at Natalies school. I didn't post about this until now cause I had very few details, until an e-mail yesterday.

The coordinator came in Monday morning and found out that policy wasn't being followed, repremended two people she had left in charge for it. After that they locked her out of everything, the filing cabinets, computers, e-mail, basically all her data. Police were called they were let go.

I don't think it had anything to do with the childrens safety and more to do with management styles. The coordinator isn't the most organized lady and the two that were laid off were excellent at it unfortunately they made a lot of changes with out her consent and of course that didn't end well.

All the teachers remain the same but now the school is in need of some adminastrative staff since those were the people let go. I just hope whoever the coordinator puts in place can maintain a nice streamlined administration.

Amanda - That sounds pretty crazy about the school situation... Wow! I hope it all settles soon.

AFM - I got scared (of the nausea) and called the doctor's office, haha. It's really still manageable at this point, but I'm scared with the weekend coming up and I'm scared of going back to work next week after a week off. So anyway, I talked them into calling in some zofran for me. Hopefully they'll get that done soon so I can have it before the weekend, just in case. She recommended pepcid+B6 if it's mostly just nausea, and save the zofran for vomiting. I don't have any pepcid at the moment, but I have been taking B6 daily.

ETA: OMG, I feel like crap. This is NOT fun. I got so freaking lucky in this department in my pregnancy with Calvin. I never really had nausea or exhaustion with him. Of course, I'd take this over the bleeding any day. I want to eat but everything sounds atrocious. Earlier, I ate a small bag of frozen broccoli because it was the only thing that didn't scream disgusting. Help meeeee....

Mary - sorry you're feeling crappy! Hope it's not nonstop. Have you tried eating candied ginger or those preggy pops?

Katie - woo hoo! Glad DH is able to go part-time so you can go full-time again. Hope the transition goes smoothly!

Ash - sorry you missed the chair, bummer. Hope this cycle is the one, even if it doesn't feel like it now!

Amanda - sorry things got crazy at Natalie's school.

Jen - how cool that Sam is sleeping so well! Glad to hear Owen is already talking more! As for the ear thing, it doesn't really affect hearing per se. Xander could always hear perfectly and we've never had trouble with him listening or following commands, etc. It's more that things are a little muffled... Plus it could've been that last winter he got sick and had fluid in his ears, right when all his speech stuff was starting to take off, but now his ears are totally clear and he's just playing catch up. That's what happened with Xander.

AFM - the zoo was a lot of fun. I just wish we lived closer to one - the drive is the worst. Usually Xander's already a little miffed by the time we drive that far.

My heartburn is getting worse and worse. Sigh. I hated this with Xander's pregnancy... There's literally nothing you can do for it, either. Tums work for about 1 minute and then it's back, so it's not even worth taking them. It doesn't matter what I eat... The only things I know not to do are 1) don't overeat, it just makes it worse and 2) don't lie down shortly after eating. Those are about the only two things within my control, otherwise it's just heartburn central whenever my body feels like it. It's not all day, at least. Just on and off for seemingly no reason. heh.

Lauren - Have you tried pepcid or zantac for the heartburn? I've used zantac from time to time in both of my pregnancies, and it was a life-saver! With Sean, I used to reflux in my sleep at night.. I'd wake up with disgusting acidic-tasting stomach contents in my MOUTH. So, so, soooo gross, but the zantac was great. BTW, I just saw your ticker... 100 days to go! Tomorrow is double-digits!!

Amanda - sorry about the school drama! Deciding how much to work is never easy, GL!

Lauren - UGH I only get heartburn when pregnant and with my GIANT babies it's AWFUL. I'm sorry!!

Mary - Loved all the FB pics! Looked like fun!

So I feel like maybe Rory's ability to fall asleep is improving. Slowly. Glacially slowly but improving! I actually have been able to get him asleep in his crib this week. Not for more than a couple hours and the majority of the night is in our bed but him falling asleep not laying next to me is progress. I could probably make him just cry it out but I don't have it in me....I could also get up every time he does and not eventually stick him in our bed but I don't have that in me either. So we're making progress in a hybrid fashion. The fact he's even willing to sleep at all in his crib is HUGE - this week is the first time in his life. So itty bitty baby Rory steps for my non-sleeping boy!

Katie - Glad Rory is making some progress in the sleep department. Calvin is still not a great sleeper at almost 19 months, omg. I mean, he's not HORRIBLE, but he does still wake up crying at least once every night. Gah! At least by the time this baby comes, I won't be all spoiled by good sleep, hahahah...

AFM - I swear I can feel my fundus already. I've read that it can be felt sooner in subsequent pregnancies, but 6 weeks seems super early. There's no mistaking it, though... That's a fundus.

TWIN GIRLS? hehe Just sayin' if you can feel it already....

Well...I mean last night in our bed I tried to ignore Rory when I felt him smacking me to eat for the 3rd time and I finally rolled over and he was sitting up clapping at me. At 2:30am. After eating at 11 and 1. He's such a little twit! I fed him and we went back to sleep. He'd nurse all night if I let him.

Hahaha, I certainly don't think so. Regardless, I'll have that little bit of doubt in my mind now until I get my ultrasound, which isn't scheduled for YEARS from now. It's scheduled for 23 days from now, but I might have to reschedule it because I got my new schedule for the new store and I start there the same day. Ugh... If I were still at my current store, I'd have plenty of time, but I don't think I'll have time now with the new hour commute. Maybe the new manager won't mind if I'm a tad late if I tell him I had already made the appointment before I knew I was moving to his store.

LOL @ Rory clapping at you in the night. He is a hoot, hahahah. Too funny. Although, not so funny that he's awake like every other hour. Eek!

ETA: I was just whining as Calvin simultaneously made a mess with a bowl of rice and pooped in his diaper, and I said, "I'm defeated by my children!" My DH said, "Which ones? The one inside or the ones on the outside?" I said, "All of them! I'm defeated by all of them!" LOL... He's funny, hahah.

Good luck, Mary. The constant nausea and aversion to everything is no fun. I hope the zofran helps. And I second the twins thing... I mean, I felt my fundus at 8-9 weeks with Oliver, but 6 weeks? Crazy.

AFM: AF might be gone. Maybe. And I got a BFN today.
    big boy 12.8.07 @ 39+2 7lbs 8oz, 20.5" BFed for 13 months
    middle boy 8.12.09 @ 39+4 7lbs 9oz, 21" BFed for 13.5 months
    little boy 4.26.11 @ 38+4 6lbs 14oz, 19.5" BFed until 26mo and again 30-37mo
    baby boy 10.25.13 @ 41+0 8lbs 15oz, 21.5"

Woohoo for AF being gone, and even better, a BFN!! I can't believe it took you until CD8 to get rid of AF, wow... That was a brutal one. I'm anxious to see when you'll O now.

AFM - 3 weeks and 2 days until my u/s. I'll be happy to see ONE healthy little heartbeat in there, hahaha. I can't imagine TWO on top of all the stress of trying to move, hahaha. And LOL at the thought of my poor DH, a SAHD of four kids under four. He'd be in the loony bin in no time. We already know I would be.
