Surprise!

***No facebook comments please!****

I'm on day 26 of my cycle and AF didn't show. I've been having 25 day cycles the past 2-3 months, so I tested this afternoon on a whim. (I did hold my pee for 4 hours!) Imagine my surprise to see this:

Pardon the crummy pics, they were taken with my iPhone. {The line is pink IRL} I'm due between May 7-14th! I'm guessing around the 12th, but we'll see. I go for blood work tomorrow to check my progesterone seeing as I was on supplements last pregnancy.

I.AM.IN.SHOCK.

:wootjump: But so thrilled and excited that it didn't take over a year to achieve! What a blessing!

Oh ladies! Thanks for the excitement! DH and I are still getting use to the idea of Claire and her sibling being so close. But we are SO very excited. :thewave:

I'm a bundle of emotions! Looks like BFing is coming to an end. My supply is already suffering and nursing is becoming painful. I'm a mess when I think of not nursing Claire anymore. I'm gonna slowly wean, but it won't take that long seeing as I only nurse her 1x in the morning and 1x at night.

My HCG was only 30 yesterday. Crazy that the FRER picked that up with afternoon pee! My progesterone was 16, so I'm on the wonderful progesterone suppositories again. I go for another HCG/progesterone check on Tuesday. Smile

I cannot believe this. Wow. Biggrin

So who is gonna get :preggo: next?!?

My supply does that as soon as I get pregnant too. I tried to keep nursing Aiden when I got pregnant with Evan but there was just no way. Those suppositories are yucky but totally worth it in the end. And having two so close will be a handful (not gonna lie) but they interact so much together it is adorable! Hopefully they will be best friends some day Smile

So how far apart will this make them, somewhere like 17 months? Sean and Cal are 20 months apart. I assume the 3 or so extra months might have let Sean be a tad more independent, but I doubt it's that much different. Let me just say it's chaotic and stressful and wonderful and amazing all at the same time!

16 months sounds crazy but really 2 kids is 2 kids it's always busy (or at least that's what I tell myself LOL) Smile You'll do great Smile My biggest bummer about them being close is the daycare costs. I'd like #3 2 years after #2 but man having 3 in daycare will be no fun at all! I tell myself I should wait for Evan to be in Kindergarten but we'll see if I do that LOL

Did you get an official EDD?

Yahoo congrats!

Sorry you're going to have to wean. My supply tanks when I get pregnant, too. 16m spacing will be interesting, but I'm sure it'll be fun, too!

I haven't gotten an official EDD. According to online calculators, it's May 10th, so I'm going with that for now. We'll see. I have my 1st ultrasound on September 28th!
