I'm Mandie, I married DH 1/31/2004. We pulled the goalie and started TTC April of 2007. A year later found out DH had a severly low sperm count and we were caniditates for IVF. So the poking and proding began. COuntless Doctors office visits, countless shots and we have finally arrived at BFP!!! I am so excitted. We won't find out if its twins for week or two but my gut instinct says its 2 babies.

I am a mother to one furbaby Grissom who is my pride and joy.

    Hello Ladies

    I'm Kristen!
I'm 27, married to DH Sean (34) and we're preggers w/our 1st!!! (FF estimates us due 2/26/10) My 1st appointment and u/s are 7/1/09 so we'll get all the goodies then!

We started TTC in summer 2006, then our TTC train was derailed because I have a Chiari Malformation (a serious neurological disorder where the bottom part of the brain, the cerebellum, descends out of the skull and crowds the spinal cord, putting pressure on both the brain and spine and causing many symptoms) and I needed to go on some baaad meds that could cause birth defects, so I had to get an IUD.
On January 13th 2009 I had brain and spine surgery to work to correct it, and I'm doing awesome! I had my IUD taken out on 3/5/09 and we started TTC again! *dances*

    We're super excited!!

I'm also the newest Mod of TTC - Plus sized Women. (I became mod, and with in a week found out I was preggers... )

It's nice to meet you all!!!

My name is Casey (25) and Hubby's name is Sean (24)

we've been trying to conceive for almost 2 years now, got on fertility meds at beginning of 2009...had a positive preg test on Oct 4th 2009, EDD is 6/10/10, so i'm about 8 weeks now. had an u/s on our 3 year anniversary and heard the heartbeat - soooo amazing!! I am very overweight (100+ lbs) and was diagnosed with PCOS last year, so finally getting pregnant is a miracle to us. I'd love some advice from anyone who will give it

    Hi all,

I'm 35, DH is 36, and we've been TTC for a year now for no clearly identifiable reason. We were all set to start IUI when lo and behold I POAS and got a positive. I literally bought five different kinds of sticks to confirm. Yep, pregnant!

And now I am scared. I have been plump most of my life, but I really packed on the pounds after a ending a year of high dosage steroids for an autoimmune problem last year. I'm now 245 lbs and 5' 9" and I really didn't want to be this heavy, particularly not for a pregnancy. But, I was afraid of waiting another year to try to drop 50 lbs. Anyway, I am not quite letting myself be excited yet (I'm just in week 5) and I am mainly filled with dread of all the things that might go wrong. And of course, I can't concentrate on anything else.

Thanks for participating on this board - I really need it!
