Default Pg again after postpartum 4 years ago?

Anyone else pregnant who has had anxiety and postpartum depression in the past? I had it pretty bad with my son and have suffered anxiety off and on in the past (last summer I was on zoloft for a month and then came off cold turkey) I am 5 weeks pg today and I'm starting to have trouble sleeping and am feeling the anxiety creep up on me. My OBGYN said he has no problem with women taking zoloft while pregnant but I don't want to unless i have to.

Anyone have this? how did you deal with it?

I had ppd after DS. It is the one thing that has kept me from ttc again because I am afraid I will have it again. (though I don't think I ever got over it.) I am not preg yet and have not been on zoloft for about a year now. (my new dr didnt think I needed it anymore b/c it had been "long enough" after having DS that I shouldnt need it--yet I seriously think I still do) but I wanted to let you know that your post was seen! (and maybe this will bring it back up? ) I hope someone can help you out.

I had ppd and ppa after the birth of my first. Because of my history, my Dr and I decided that I should start taking celexa as soon as my 2nd was delivered. It was the best decision I could've made, I have enjoyed DD2's first year, and I couldn't at all with DD1 because I was so sick.
Honestly, I think that if you need it while you are preg, you need it. You being happy and able to take care of yourself is the most important thing! You also have other kids to think about, and they will also benefit from you staying happy and healthy.
Just my 2 cents... Sorry I didn't respond sooner, I don't check in here often anymore.
