    Default Birthstones

I recently had a loss at 21 weeks. I would like to do a mother's ring or something similar, for my 3 boys here and for our angel baby. I am not sure what to do, if there is even any type of protocol for it, but what birthstone would I use for our angel--the month of the loss, or the expected birth month? Would like to know others thoughts on this. Thanks

I have been wondering this too. Also, I found out the baby died in March but had the d&c done in April... do I choose one of those or the due date in October? Not sure what I am going to do.

You have to decide what feels right for you. For me the day we lost our DD is the day that will forever be "her day", so I go with that month for her birthstone.
