moheesviolin - I didn't have a d&c, my mc was natural, so maybe my nausea is just from hormones? Sorry to hear you don't tan. I have to be careful myself as I burn easily, but if I take it slow, I do tan, though I have lots of freckles to go along with it.

Well I'm down to just spotting now.

How is everyone else doing today?

Mary, that's good you are only spotting now. I'm back to normal but not sure how I will be after my LEEP Monday morning. Hopefully 2 weeks after that we can start thinking about TTC again, that's if my Pap comes back normal. (fingers crossed!)

Could be hormones gone haywire, could be stress. And also with blood loss there will be some nausea. Whenever your body is a little short of blood, the blood gets shunted away from the digestive tract to where it is needed more; heart, lungs, brain, liver, kidneys. GI is low in priority, but with less blood things are harder to digest. Try and eat things that are simpler to digest, simple carbs break down easier.
I will freckle in the sun, little sprinkle across my nose and cheekbones. I'm told it looks very cute, but I think it makes me look like I'm ten years old.

Thanks for the suggestion Moheesviolin (sorry, what is your name?). I'm not sure exactly what qualifies as a simple carb but I'm sure I can google it and find out. The nausea is even better today but it seems to depend on what I eat.

    Sorry, my name is Mohee.
Simple carbs are sugars, starches, breads. Simple, bland foods. Breads are good, but avoid the sourdoughs if you like them for now. The yeast that makes it sour can be a little tough on a sensetive stomach. Yogurts with probiotics are also good, the probiotics do some of your digesting for you (kinda weird to think aout).

Thanks - yeah I was thinking yogurt would be an excellent choice.

How is everyone doing today? Still spotting here. Still feeling pretty tired - needing lots of sleep, but the nausea is better.

I have some TMI questions, if you guys don't mind. I am wondering if what I have experienced the last couple of days is normal:

    1) How soon after your mc/d&c/d&e did you dtd?
    2) Did you bleed afterwards?
    3) Did you have any pain afterwards?

We dtd on Sat and Sun and each time I bled a little afterwards, though it wasn't much, and I had some twinges of abdominal pain and my cervix was sore. So we're going to hold off for a few days and give it a little more time.

I had my LEEP procedure done, back home and resting. Feeling very cruddy though, nauseous, difficult to eat, etc. Gonna go sleep for a bit. It wasn't that bad but they did put me under and was there from 9AM till 2PM. I wasn't sure if they would totally knock me out and forgot about my contacts so DH had to run home to get my glasses. Luckily the hospital is 15 minutes from our house. It hurts but tolerable, I think the miscarriage hurt worse.

Anyway, so glad that is over with!!! Here is praying my Pap comes back normal and we are cleared to TTC again.

Sleep is good, best way to let your body recover. Try some crackers and ginger ale.
Hope everything comes back normal and you get to TTC soon!
