A few very sensitive concerns. *Pregnancy mentioned*

Hey ladies. I fear I am having a miscarriage. I got my BFP a week ago this past thursday. Friday, I went to the bathroom first thing in the morning as usual. When I wiped, bright red blood was on the toilet paper. I was really scared, but there was no gushing, no cramping. So, I figured maybe possibly implantation bleeding. Then, it gradually lighted each time I went to the bathroom. Well, now when I wipe there is some brown discharge. The brown disharge has been going on now for two days. No cramping, no more bright red blood. So, I am going to call my OB on Monday. I did have some spotting with my first, but I don't remember it lasting this long. So, I hate to bring up a painful subject but I am really scared. But does this sound like I am having a miscarriage? I guess I should also mention my family and I have been moving since Friday and Thursday night I went to a concert. Was it to much? Did I cause the possible miscarriage? I am secretly really scared. My DH hasn't really been concerned, he thinks its normal. Please help me girls.

Sounds like maybe you've overworked yourself. I was painting our guest room while preggo with my son and had some spotting. It was gone by the next morning, but the doc had told me not to worry if I had some brown spotting for another day or two. I would still try to get in to the OB today, just to check things out. The facts that you're not cramping and that the bleeding is slowing and turning brown are very good signs. Good luck!

Many women spot during the first few weeks/days. Did you talk w/ your OB?

child ment

I had bleeding with both of my children, like enough to soak a pad, and they are both here and healthy. Smile I also had spotting/bleeding with my losses, red is not good, brown is better. Because it has stayed brown and getting lighter should mean it is old blood. Did you get in to your ob today?

I calld my OB yesterday, and I spoke with her nurse. Turns out, she really wasn't that concerned. She said if I was miscarrying I would be bleeding bright red and cramping. So, I guess its a wait and see. Some other things are riding on this case. I was offered a new job as a therapy aide position which would require being around patients in the hospital, heavy lifting and lots of cleaning. The pro would be more money, regular set hours. My current job is udergoing extreme budget cuts and reorganization so my job is not secure. So, I don't want to take this job if I'm pregnant and risk miscarriage but myjob is insecure so I could possibly loose it. So much stress!!

Wow, you do have a lot of stress. All I would have to say is go with your gut about the job. I think it takes most of the stress away when you make the decision, it is the process to get there the is stressful.

With my early miscarriage, I had tons of bleeding, enough to fill a pad an hour and lots and lots of cramping and pain. I've had some spotting and two major gushes of blood with this pregnancy and I found out that it's due to a small tear in the placenta, possibly from over-activity. My doc has just told me to take it easy (easier said than done!) but not to worry unless I have severe pain, cramping, and more bright red bleeding. So far so good. I hope you are just fine, take it easy and KUP!
