Well, we got our genetic testing results back from my doctor and there were no genetic abnormalities detected. The baby was a girl. We actually got the results over a week ago but I'm just able to post about it.
It has really been on my mind/heart to name this baby as it makes me sad to think of going through life mentally addressing her as simply "the baby" or "she/her" but not by name. Everybody deserves a name.
So I think it will be Anaya. The jury is still out on the exact meaning behind this name because it is a name that multiple cultures use and each culture has a different meaning. Meaning is very important to me. I've got 3 different possibilities for the meaning of this name from different cultures: "God Answers", which is appropriate as it took us 18 months to conceive this baby. "Look up to God". And "Completely Free". My baby IS completely free from the bonds of this earth and everything that goes with it. It just seems "right". I've looked at bazillions of other names and this is the one that I keep coming back to and already it feels like I've known the name for many years. So Anaya she will forever be.

What did the testing show? Of course, if you dont want to share that's fine hun.
So sorry you didnt get to keep her.
The test only revealed that there wasn't a genetic abnormality and the gender of the baby but didn't answer the big question of WHY. It could have been stress, low progesterone, a virus of some kind......we will just never know.
