I miscarried my 8 week pregnancy on Friday. I had an ultraound which showed I did not require a D&C. I passed placental material then and the ultrasound showed I only had "fragments" left that would be pass naturally. I have been cramping quite badly at times during this weekend and I am still bleeding bright red blood. The blood seems to not be lessening at all. Just a few minutes ago I went to the bathroom and felt a gush of blood and stuff. I think I just passed the sac with fetal material because that's what it looks like. I don't know what I should do, I can't get ahold of my Dr and I don't know if I need to go back to the ER? I don't know what is normal and what isn't?
I finally got a hold of my Dr's office and spoke with the nurse. She is having the Dr.'s resident call me back. I've told her what happend and she said if I'm soaking pads to go into the ER again. It's hard to say how much blood is coming out because I keep going to the bathroom and expelling most of it there. It seems a lot worse than when it started. I also starting feeling sick to my stomach, but I figure that's related to my emotions right now. I'm also keeping on eye on my temp, which I think is rising.
im sooo sorry for your loss honey...i know how you feel...if your temp is rising i suggest you call the doctor again...i had a d&c done so my doctor told me if i soak more than 1 pad an hour and my temp rises to go to emergency...he also told me no heavy lifting which i did yesterday and i had horrible cramps and lots of blood flow nothing to extreme but i learned my lesson....please take good care of yourself sweetie and double check whenever you feel necesary.your body has its way of telling you when something is wrong..also usually you can call emergency and speak to a nurse their and explain and they can tell you if you should come in or not..but if you feel you need to go then sweetie go its the only way you will feel better...take care.. HAVE YOU IN MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS
Ok, so I ended up going back to the ER this afternoon to get checked. I had another ultrasound done and it looked much better than the one I had on Friday. I have now passed all of the material; however, my uterus is still contracting. I'm not sure what the "sac-like" material I passed in the morning was, but I'm starting to feel better since I passed it. My temp is ok, so I shouldn't have to worry now at this point about needing a D&C or getting an infection. It was such a shock this morning for me to pass another substantial piece of tissue when I was told there wasn't much left there of Friday. I hope that is the end of it so I can start healing physically and emotionally. Thanks again for all the support ladies, you are all wonderful!
