i would ask your doctor if you have any questions whatsoever...it doesn't hurt to ask. i know from personal experience they have always told me that b/c i have 2 children already, that there is nothing wrong with me, but that something was wrong with each child i lost...it differs for everyone though. i have a friend that has a child but has had 4 m/c since and they DID find something wrong with her and have treated her for it...so you never know until you ask. i believe it is your right to be tested and if you ask your dr they should....i'm sorry you are going through this again...i know i hoped it would never happen to me again and it did...take care!

I've had one loss, but I had my OB order whatever testing she would have ordered after 3 losses. I don't know all of them exactly, but I do know that she is testing me for any clotting disorders and then hormone levels again as well. Wish I could help more.

I don't know what testing to recommend. However, I do recommend that you do not let anyone try to bully you out of the tests that you want. They work for you whether or not they want to believe it.

I had no testing. My baby was tested and everything came back normal. The doctor and specialists believe it was due to an incompetent cervix. I wish that was not true and it was something easier to treat but that is what they determined so I will have to have a cerclage for all future pregnancies. I would get blood drawn to see hormone levels. I would have them look into uterine problems (septum or cysts) Just any and every test imaginable. You need to know what cause these losses. Were the babies checked or was it too early in the pregnancy to check the fetus and placenta for problems?

Good luck with the doctor, just remember they work for you and should be able to give answers.

I only had one baby tested..my twins..they came back normal..no problems..they didnt have a clue..I am guessing it is a hormone level. My other two were early..my second m/c was a blighted ovum and the last one was a chemical pregnancy.

Have them do a blood test for APA syndrome. It is an autoimmune disease thast causes blood clots to form between the cervix and the placenta. I have it. It is a weird symdrome as it waxes and wans, means it comes and goes. I tested very high on the scale and a few months later tested (-).
It is treated with daily injections of Lovenox, blood thinners.

I hope you find an anwser.
