Default I never thought I would be here

I was pregnant almost 5 weeks, then I started red bleeding this morning. I am ok. A little sad and disapointed. It wasnt meant to be. Thankfully if it was going to happen it happened early, for that I am grateful. I have a call into my DR office, waiting for the nurse to call me back because I dont know what to do. Do I need to be seen by my doctor? Since its so early will everything just expel on its own? I did pass one clot and now its just red bleeding and cramping. I wish the nurse would call me back soon so I know what to do. Is there anyone here that was in my situation being so early? What did you do? Thanks so much.

Wow, so sorry. Keep your head up as you never know until the u/s. My wife and I just lost our 7 week old baby this weekend as well. She had no pain but has been bleeding lightly the entire 7 weeks. We'll this weekend it got really heavy and she passed a lot of clots. We had our second u/s done yesterday and they advised that everything had cleared out on its own. The nurse gave her a shot but they never even told her what it was for. Im assuming you should be seen by a doctor to at the very least make sure everything is ok. Needless to say were upset and are going to be looking for a new doctor. Many many *hugs*

yes...you need to see your doctor. I bled red several times in my first trimester. My little girl was fine till I got a uterine infection. Are you sure you are still not pregnant? Please get checked and please let us know.
    Good luck,

    ((((hugs))))))

I can relate to one of your questions. When I started cramping and spotting I wasn't sure if I should see the dr. Whether or not I "should bother" "since they can't do anything". That was my reaction, however the cramping got so bad I had to go in and in the end I needed to know for peace of mind what was going on too and to gain some closure. I agree, go to the dr, hopefully they will do an ultrasound.

Thank you all for your kind words. But it is definately over. The nurse finally called (after I called them again) and said since I am already bleeding that I should just let my body do its thing. She said for me to take a preg test next week and if it is still pos to call her to come in. So I guess this is it. I didnt realize the amount of blood was so much. The nurse said I would have a good bleed but wow. Thanks again for being so kind!
